"Hey Author!" Natsu calls, spotting his friend sitting on the edge of the Fairy Tail guild building. "You can come inside even though you're not an official member anymore." He sits at the edge of the building as well, his legs dangling over.

"Yeah I know but I can't stay long. I need to move on." Author replies, "but I wanted to say bye to you before I set off. I'll be back but not any time soon."

He shoves Author to the side playfully, "everyone else is going to want to send you off too!"

"I haven't seen them in so long you know. Besides your the only one who's always been there for me. No matter what you were always by my side."

Natsu frowns, "not to get sappy too soon but I always will be. After all, you still need to watch the final season. Even if you had spoiled yourself years ago you still don't know the ending."

Author chuckles, "yeah I know. Just waiting for the right time. I feel like I'll really need you guys next year but at the same time I need to move on. You guys have been with me for so long, it's hard to say 'see you later' you know?"

He nods, "I know. We were such a big part of your life, even after you left without saying a word. You came back and don't plan on leaving again, right?"

"Not for some time no. I'll probably move onto a different platform when it comes to writing but it'll been a long ass time before I say 'goodbye' to you guys. I still have to finish Naruto after all-"

"You still haven't finished Naruto?!" Natsu shouts and Author coves his mouth.

"Not so loud! I'm not supposed to be here you know!"

"Sorry..." He mumbles and looks at the setting sun. "Gonna go see Sting before you set off?"

Author thinks, "no. He thinks I already left. But something told me to see you again. One last time."

"But this isn't 'goodbye' it's just a 'see you later'."

"Yeah."

Natsu pulls Author into a hug, "I'll get sappy and real for a moment, you always leave while the sunsets after all. You've grown so much since we meet five years ago. And I couldn't be more proud of you. You don't always have to lie you know, and keep taking things low and steady. I think it's better for you rather than rushing into things head first. Leave that to me and Sting."

Author laughs and hugs him back, "thank you for everything, Natsu."
