Inspired by the song "Lie" by Cirus-P. It's a vocaloid song, Luka sings it. I really love this song cause of Luka's English and I love Black Clover so let's put two and two together, shall we?

Either of them could tell what they were fighting about anymore. Both of them were just angry at each other, but fear was hidden be hide it. In the end, it was a mutual decision to break up.

"We never see each other..." Yuno mumbles. "You a bull and I'm a dawn..."

"We are rivals, the Gold Dawn and the Black Bulls don't really mix too well." (Y/n) agrees. "But," she starts, "I love you." She looks at Yuno in the eye, "I've been in love with you so awhile now. That's not just gonna disappear."

"But we both agree, we don't work." He sighs, running his hand through his hair, "how can we be in love but be such a bad mix?"

"So this is it, huh?" (Y/n) says.

"Yeah," Yuno replies, "I guess it is. We had a good run." He tries to smile but it quickly fades away.

"Guess I'll see you around then." She says, waving a little before walking away in the opposite Yuno was facing.

"Yeah," he mumbles to himself, "see you."

Bell comes out of her hiding spot, "Yuno!" She whines, "how long are you gonna stand there! Let's go already!" She is turned around, not facing him, with a pout on her face and her arms crossed. Bell doesn't see behind Yuno's blank expression as he watched (Y/n) disappear beyond the horizon.

Eventually Yuno did move after Bell begged him for what felt like hours. But it was really only two minutes. "Is she really gone?" He asks the fairy.

"Yeah, you watched her walk away remember?" Bell replies, "but you don't need her! I'm the love of your life and the only woman you'll ever need!"

"'Love of my life', huh?"

(Y/n) had finally made it back to the Black Bulls hides out, it was now around midnight. "Oi!" Captain Yami yells, "what the hell took you so long!" Hey blows out a puff of smoke and gets a good look at her face. "Something happen?"

She nods her head before rushing off to her room. She didn't know what to think. Should she be happy about the break up or sad that she just lost the love of her life? In the end, she determined that sleeping was the best choice. Tomorrow, she would ask Charmy to make her some delicious food, her favorite, she decided.

The other bulls all gave each other a look. "Yuno?" Noelle asks, "did he do something?"

"Nah," Asta laughs, "there's no way those two would get into a fight!"

"Unless it's their first..." Vanessa replies, taking a large amount of her drink before adding, "and their last."

Yami gives Finral a look before dragging him to another room without saying a word. "I can walk you know!" Finral exclaimed, "you don't have to drag me!"

"I got a job for you." Yami blows out a puff of smoke, "that kid needs some cheering up. I think you know what to do." He said with his voice slightly lowered in volume.

"So...like...?" Finral mumbles as his brain tries to put two and two together. "Oh! Like a date!"

"Something like that. Just cheer her up a bit, alright?" Yami starts walking back to the main room where the other bulls are at.

"Will do!"

"(Y/n)!" Asta shouts with a mouth full of food, "good morning!"

"Good morning." She greets back and notices all of her favorite foods are laid out on the large dinning table. She didn't think twice about it, brushing it off as it wasn't for her, and sat down next to Asta.

"Charmy made all of your favorites today-!"

"Stupid Asta!" Noelle shouted from across the table, "we aren't supposed to make a big deal out of it!"

Yami yawns and walks in, "and yet you're both still making a big deal out of it."

"We're sorry." They both mumble as Finral sits down next to (Y/n). "Good morning." He greets thinking of a way to cheer her up. Knowing Yami pretty well at this point, the faster he gets the done the better. Which won't be an easy task.

"Alright you two," Yami looks at (Y/n) and Finral, "I've got a few jobs for you today."

(Y/n) was about to come up with an excuse not to go but he was one step ahead of her. "And you can't make any excuses." He hands her a piece of paper, "get going as soon as you're finished up here."

They both look at the piece of paper, it was nothing but errands. "Why am I not surprised," (Y/n) said with a soft smile. "Guess it'll be easier with two people, right?"

Finral nods and thinks before his mouth spoke, "yeah and we can go on a date."

Everyone gave him a "bad timing bro look" but he quickly came up with a recovery.

"I-I-I mean as friends o-of course!" He chuckles nervously, "you, uh, seemed a little, uh, d-down! Yesterday! So maybe having a bit of fun will cheer you up!"

(Y/n) smiles, "thank you I'll take you up on that offer."

As they leave, headed for the city, Yami face palms. "I thought he was supposed to be a bit smoother with women..."

"He is, just not with a person he's good friends with." Vanessa replies, "but hey he's not as bad as the captain of the Blue Roses."

"What do you mean?" Yami asks as Vanessa gives him a blank stare.

"That should be the last item on the list." (Y/n) says as they carry back a lot of unusual items. "Is there anywhere you usual take girls out on dates?" She asks, "I know that's a weird question but I'm kinda of curious..."

Finral thinks for a moment, "well it all depends on the girl. Some girls like to go out for drinks while others just like to talk. Some like to go dancing and some just like to rant about the last person they dated."

"How can you tell?"

"The way they dress. While you shouldn't judge a person based on their clothes; their clothes and the way they talk can say a lot. But also because someone who is in more casual clothing normally doesn't want to go eat at a super fancy restaurant." He chuckles slightly and spots a Golden Dawn uniform.

Of course it was Yuno who looked a little down. He was staring at the ground, not looking up once, as he was about to pass them by. Finral came up with a plan that may back fire on him later.

"If it's you we're talking about, (Y/n), I would take you on a date where nice but with a few people near by. No where fancy and not a bar. I think that would suit you the best."

As Yuno walks past them, he hears someone say "(Y/n), I would take you one a date-" and looks up. Bell was talking his ear off but stops and looks in the direction he was. "Oh it's (Y/n)." She says, "is she on a date with that guy? They're wearing the same uniform. Wait! He said 'date'!"

Yuno watches them for a second and sees (Y/n) smile. He isn't sure what he felt; all he knew was that he strongly disliked seeing (Y/n) with someone else on a date. Brushing it off, he keeps on walking. At least she's happy, right?

"Honestly though it shouldn't have taken a little bit long to get over you." Yuno was brought back into reality by the sound of Bell's voice. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Yuno replied, staring back down at the ground as he tried to sort out his thoughts. Bell started rambling on like she always does, "but you have me now and I'm the only woman you'll ever need!"

Yuno shook his head, "I didn't need her I just want her." He mumbles, "I don't need her by my side, I just want her by my side..." Without a second thought his feet turned him around and started walking.

"Wait! Where are you going!" Bell called after him not wanting to follow. "The store I want to go to is this way!" She pouts, "I'll wait for you here!"

He saw (Y/n) and Finral stopped at dessert shop looking in to see what they have through the window. He caught up to them quickly, "(Y/n)." He called out in a calm voice, not even knowing what to follow it up with.

The Black Bull members turned to see him, his face says he was conflicted. It was only a day after they broke up. Though they both were very unsure about breaking up in the first place. "Oh Yuno..." She said, sounding a bit uneasy.

Finral knows this situation all too well. A guy sees the girl he recently broken up with out on the street, with another guy. He hates it, confesses his love and they walk off together. All in all, a very awkward situation on Finral's part. He takes the items out of (Y/n)'s hands and uses his magic. He was standing the middle of them and his portal opens up closer to Yuno.

"I'll leave you guys to it." He says awkward before walking over to the portal. Before he enters he puts a hand on Yuno shoulder. He leans closer to his ear and whispers, "If you hurt her, we will hurt you." Finral waves them goodbye without looking back, leaving the two alone.

They look at each other for a moment before Yuno speaks up. "I know that we just broke up but I regret doing it. Whatever we were fighting about doesn't matter anymore." He takes a breath and looks down at the ground. "Being in love, romantically, is very new to me. I don't know how to... love I guess? Which is stupid but that's how I feel. Seeing you with someone else made all of those thought a reality. I'm sorry."

(Y/n) places a hand gently on his shoulder, "looks like we're in the same boat. I'm so scared of being hurt but I love you so much. And I want you by my side." She opens her arms out, "do you need a hug?"

Yuno nods his head and walks into her arms. "If you still need sometime to think about how you feel please do. I want to get back together and try again but if you don't then that's completely okay."

He nods his head, "I want you by my side." He mutters, "just your smile can make me happy. And I want to be the reason why you do."

This one shot here was thought of a whole year ago so that's why the plot is so bad lol. Honestly thought that I wouldn't be able to make it to 1k words but it's also 2k so, uh, I surprised myself there.

I wrote this for two things (other than thinking of the plot):

1. This is how I think Yuno would be in a relationship. To me he's more of a quiet guy who's new to this whole "feelings" situation. He would get scared and want to run because he's new to it. The plot was written before the anime finished so now it doesn't fit his as well cause of that one episode (and you know what I'm talking about cause I was losing my mind hOlY fUcK)

2. I wanted to express my opinion about love a little bit. I feel like when you truly love someone that you should "want" to be by their side rather than "need" to be. Like you shouldn't rely on someone for happiness. Trying to get that across is a lot harder than I thought and so I will probably try again.

With that I am calling this one shot done. And I'm happy it didn't delete itself half way through writing it cause internet problems. I'm gonna go eat real food now-
