《Anime One Shots Book 1》Karma X Innocent! Reader (Assassination Classroom) {Winter Wonderland}

Once again the creative tank is passed empty and I still have too many request to get done. And school work that I haven't done cause I skipped school for three days. But anyway- I really miss snow. Where I live, it hasn't snowed in a few years. Or it snowed so much that you HAD to stay inside. And I just miss walking in a winter wonderland... oh yeah this is a request but I have free range~
"(Y/n)!" Nagisa shouted from my apartment window. "(Y/n)!" Kayano shouts as well from down below. "Come outside!" Karma joins.
Looking around for my phone I check the time, it was eight o'clock. Too early to move from my fortress of blankets. Then I remembered, mother is still home. She hasn't left for work yet as she got a call saying she didn't have to come in until later...
Oh no.
"Please-!" Kayano shouted, being interrupted mid sentence. It was then completely silent. I braced myself for what foes may soon be attacking my fortresses of blankets. But nothing happened. Only the sound of the apartment door opening and closing, twice, at separate times. Which could mean two things.
1. Mother has gone to work but forgot her keys as usual. Kayano greeted her right before she was about to yell something. Nagisa and Kayano are now making small talk with her while Karma is brewing a devilish plan in his mind while smiling.
2. Mother had heard them yelling and went to see what was going on. Asked them to polity stop and came back inside. Or she did all that but then let them in...
My answer came bursting threw my door and flopped onto of me. Sideways. "Karma!" Nagisa scolded as he walked into my bedroom, Kayano trailing behind him.
"Yes?" He response, acting like he isn't currently flopped down on my bed.
He was at a loss of words and Kayano was too. Karma turns to me and sticks his tongue out slightly. "Good morning~"
"I hate you." I glare back.
"(Y/n)," mother walks into the room, unfazed but what is happening in front of her. "I'll be back before dinner." She walks over, kisses the top of my forehead and waves 'goodbye' to the others.
Nagisa, Kayano and I were dumbfounded by what just took place. You would think mother would say anything like "get off my child you digesting-!" but no. She too familiar with Karma's shenanigans.
A few moments of awkward silence later, "so will you come outside now?" Karma asks in a serious voice.
"Karma..." Nagisa glared but was ignored by the red head.
"Your not gonna get off me until I say 'yes', are you?"
"Nope~"
And that's the story of how Karma managed to get passed the fortress of blankets and make me go outside.
----
"The fortress of snow is finally finished, commander (Y/n)." Karma solutes as we kneel down in the snow. A large pile of snow was stacked in front of us, and snowball ammunition was locked and loaded ready to attack.
"Umm..." Kayano starts off. "Are you guys down now?" Nagisa finishes, "we would like to start now."
Karma and I smirked at each other, stuffing snowballs into our coat pockets. We popped up from out fortress with devilish grins, "ready...?" Karma says like a count down.

We all fall silent as snow starts falling down on use. "Go!" Kayano shouts, throwing the first snow ball at me. But it falls half way and becomes infused with the white blanket covering the ground. Karma, Nagisa and I stare at where it landed with blank faces.
I then casually throw a snowball at Nagisa and it lands right in his face. Karma bursts out laughing and meets a snow ball to the face by Nagisa. He blows the snow out of his mouth and sticks out his tongue as he throws another one at Nagisa. They then started their own all out war between each other. Both of them were running around and dodging each snowball as if they were in an anime.
Kayano and I are now just watching the madness go down while throwing snowballs at each other. Well, I was. Kayano still wasn't making any landings. "I thought that being in E-class would make you have at least good aim." I teased.
"Oh yeah!" She shouts in reply, and starts running after me. The boys stop murdering each other and turn to look at us. Kayano was tossing snowball after snowball, missing every shot. Eventually I stop running, turned around, and stood right in front of her. "Come on!" I yelled, trying to get a rise out of her. "Hit me already!"
She smirks, but still misses me. "You can do this Kayano!" Nagisa cheers her on. Her eyes light up with determination. And yet, she still misses even after I took four steps closer to her. She sighed, giving up but yelled up one last snowball.
I raced up to her as she was about to throw it and she hit me. Nagisa cheered as Kayano stood there dumbfounded. "Nice shot." I smiled softly, in a dramatic tone. She hugged me for no other reason than to be dramatic.
Karma pulled a snowball out of his pocket, and slapped Nagisa's face with it. He's face didn't move or anything though. Nagisa slowly turns his head, Karma's hand still on his face. Nagisa did the same action the red head did, not moving his hand either.
Kayano must have took a shot of confidence, "Nagisa vs Karma, part two!" She shouts and giggles. I sniffle a laugh, hugging her tighter.
The two boys, still not moving their hands, turn to us with blank faces.
"Kayano," I whispered in her ear as they started slowly approaching us. "I need you to get as many snowballs as you possible can." I look back at the boys, Karma has a smirk plastered all over his face. "When we break, I'll distract them by running at them while you run behind the building. Okay?"
She nods, knowing that this was the only way. "But how do you know they'll follow you?"
"Because," I smiled, and pulled away from her. Now that I had the boys attention, "I'm the only one who wasn't been hit yet!"
Kayano took this as her queue and books away from the scene as I rush towards the boys. They both start throwing snowballs but not in sync. Making it difficult to dodge. They landed hit after hit and were smirking to themselves.
I saw Kayano running at them from behind and smiled at them. And, believe it or not, she managed to hit Karma in the back of the head and Nagisa. Karma didn't have enough time to react as I tackled him to the ground.

He smirks, "well hello there. Pay back from earlier?"
I smiled sweetly and saw the hood on his coat fall very close to where the fortress of snow was still standing. I reached behind him and scooped as much snow as I could while he was still thinking of something clever to say. Not very much time, believe me I know.
"I was on top of you and now your on top of me-" As soon the last word left his mouth, I pulled up his hood and all the snow fall onto his face.
Kayano and Nagisa start bursting out laughing as I quickly jumped off of the red head. A little scared for my life, I armed myself with snowballs.
"Not bad, (Y/n)." He smiles oh so innocently, "not bad at all."
----
After we finished murdering each other, Nagisa and I had finally convinced Karma and Kayano to come inside. Our hair was soaked and full of snow. "Anyone want hot chocolate, coffee or tea?" I asked while opening the pantry to see what we had on hand. But it was completely empty.
"... never mind..." I mumbled, closing the pantry.
"What's up?" Kayano walks over to me, finally going back to her normally kind self.
"We, uh, don't have anything..." I mumbled, embarrassed.
As if on queue, mother busts into the apartment with a smile. "Hello hello!" She greets. Holding grocery store bags in her hands. "Came back to drop these off!" She then closes the door.
"Does she always do that?" Nagisa asks, picking up one of the bags.
"Sometime if she gets a late lunch." I reply and began to start putting everything away. The other helped as well. "Well we got tea, coffee and hot chocolate now..." I trailed off.
"I'll take a tea." Kayano smiles. "Same here." Nagisa added. I nod in response, looking over at Karma. "I'll have whatever you're having." He replies.
Two cups of tea and hot chocolate made, we were now all sitting on the kitchen floor. There were two heaters in it for some reason. Kayano and Nagisa were sitting on one while Karma and I were on the other.
"Aren't you glad you came outside?" Karma smirks, taking a snip of his hot chocolate.
"I would be if you weren't sitting all over on the heating vent..." I mumbled, holding onto my mug a little tighter, approaching the warmth it's bring to my hands.
Kayano and Nagisa just sip their tea. We all made small talk as we slowly finished our drinks. "So, what now?" I ask.
They shrugged and Nagisa looks up to check the time on the stove. "Oh, it's passed lunch already..."
"I can make you something." I said, standing up. "What would you like?"
"Pudding!" Kayano shouts, "wait no- cookies! Wait- cookies with pudding!"
We all stare at here for a second, "got anything warm?" Nagisa smiles, "still pretty cold over here..."
I think for a moment, "I'll need to get some more vegetables but yeah I can make soup. Is that what you want?"
He nods, "that sounds lovely."
I look at Karma and Kayano and they all nod. "And we'll have cookies and pudding as well." I said, putting Kayano on the head as her eyes light up with excitement.
Karma gets up and stretches, "well let's run down to the market. There's on close by, right?"
"Yeah but do you think they'll be open with all this snow?" I reply, "I was thinking about going to a bigger store..."
"Oh, Kayano and I walked passed the market on the way here and they are." Nagisa pipes up.
"Then let's go." Karma says, grabbing my hand dragging out of my apartment.
"We'll make the pudding and cookies!" Kayano waves as the door closes.
Karma and I make small talk on the way to the market, "you know you can let go of my hand now."
"I know." He hums, "but this way we won't get separated~"
"Karma, it's just us-"
"Oh look! We're here!" He cuts me off and acts like nothing happened. And yet he still didn't let go.
I sighed and grabbed a basket, "okay Karma, we need a few green onions, three large white potatoes and a large can of diced tomatoes..."
"Got cha!" He smiles at me.
".... can you let go now?" I asked, slightly tugging away from his hand.
"Sure." He lets go.
When he exited the shop there was a fresh patch of ice on the side walk we had missed on the way in. And of course I'm the one who almost slips and falls, but Karma catches me by the hand. "Looks like I need to hold onto you a little bit longer." He says with a straight face, pulling me into his embrace.
I blush a little but shake if off.
----
Night as fallen now, Nagisa and Kayano had left after lunch but Karma decided to stay. Mother had came back about an hour ago so we went to hang out in my room verses the kitchen.
He thought it would be funny to put a loop of a fireplace crackling and sit each to each other on my bedroom floor.
And yes, he was still holding my head. I could have sworn I never dosed off as we were talking, only closing my eyes for a second. But when I opened my eyes, I found my head against Karma's.
I froze, unsure what to do in a situation like this. It must have been ten minutes before Karma woke up and smiled at me, planting a kiss on my forehead. "Get it now?"
romance after the first 1k words. And so I did my best to work some of that in. Don't think I did it too well though...
Very small explanations this time:
1. Completely random idea I just started writing and this happened
2. Karma maybe a child of the devil but the man knows how to respect people he cares about. That's why he lets go of the readers hand.
3. I wanted to add in the mother because in anime there is a strong lack of parents. So I wanted to use her as a funny haha character and have her in here because of I already mentioned. Also used her to move the plot along, a little bit.
4. Does this count as a shit post?
M'kay I'm gonna go eat and then sleep
LOVE YOU GUYS

Sanguine
The Coles are probably the definition of a small dysfunctional family, even if they weren’t the worst in existence; they would probably be lauded as an example of the term. The Coles were a small family though. The father, Oliver Cole, was an asshole ex-football jock who bounced around in small paying jobs after wasting most of his life drinking, drugging and whoring. The daughter, Stacy Cole, was smart, but had many issues including anger, trouble with authority, and occasional suicidal thoughts, and was kicked out of many a school for disruptive behaviour. The son, Mike Cole, was innocent, and tried his best to be kind to anyone and everyone, however his own speech impediment, and slow nature only aided people to bully and belittle him, including his own father. The Coles were indeed a dysfunctional family. At least they were, until they got to the small town near the border between the United States and Canada, Sanguine. Welcome to Sanguine. You will stay. With the exception of the first chapter, each chapter only follows one character. The first chapter is the only chapter in which I will include 'Sides' where it follows a different character. This is a short Lovecraftian story, it won't go above seventeen chapters. Note: the book cover is my first attempt, it might not even remain like it is, I was just tired of seeing the standard 'no cover' thing on it.
