"How did this even happen?!" Cana groans as she throws another card to deflect an on coming attack.

Some how none of the adults were around to stop the girls vs boys war that started. They all moved the tables and chairs to build a fortresses in order to protect themselves from any attacks.

"Oh, you know," (Y/n) replies, "one thing led to another and...well..." She trailed off, "but more importantly, where's Erza?"

"Erza and Mira should be back any minute." Lisanna piped up.

"What, who let those two go some place together?" (Y/n) asks, "or even let them be near each other!?"

"Don't worry," Levy smiles, "they'll be fine. Those two usually don't-"

Levy was cut off by one of the chairs being broken. "Argue when something happens..." She finishes.

The front door busts open, reveling Erza in her armer, swords in her hands, and Mirajane using her transformation magic. They block all attacks aimed at the fortress. "Alright, (Y/n), you're up." Erza said, transforming out her armer. "What is your magic?"

All the girls looked at each other, "yeah what is your magic?" Lisanna asks. "I don't think I've ever seen you use magic before..." Levy adds.

(Y/n) thinks, "ummm, the easiest way to explain it is-"

"Hey!" Natsu shouts, standing on top of the boys fortress. "Are you guys gonna fight back or what!?"

"Just wait on second, little boy." Mirajane glares, "and we'll beat your ass into the ground!"

"Mira!" Cana scolds, "there are kids here!"

Mirajane rolls her eyes, letting (Y/n) continue. "Basically, I use Mother Nature."

"...." The girls fall silent, not sure what to say.

"And how would that work...?" They all ask.

(Y/n) looks around to see one of the windows is broken, stands up, and smiles. "You'll see~"

She moves her arms and a magic circle appears.

"Caster magic!" Levy exclaims, watching more closely than anyone else.

One by one, leaves fallen on the ground started to come in through the window. (Y/n) smiles to herself as an army of leaves comes poring through the window.

The boys knew they were through. They said their goodbyes are (Y/n) slightly shifts her body, the leaves moving with her, and are thrown onto the boys fortress. The leaves are sharp like daggers, pricing the wooden furniture.

The boys each grabbed a napkin and waved it in the air as Cana and Mirajane finish off the fortress.

A few years have passed since the girls vs boys war. The adults came back and scolded everyone for destroying all the furniture and made them all clean it up. Master Makarov did make the boys make some of the tables and chairs, even though most of them broke the moment they were placed inside the guild.

It was smooth sailing until tragedy struck the Take Over Siblings. The loss over Lisanna had a ripple effect on the guild. It hit Mirajane and Elfman the most, followed by kids who were closest to her.

Natsu and Happy were the one's effected the most out of the kids. (Y/n) went over to check on after not showing up at the guild for two whole weeks.

"Natsu?" (Y/n) knocked on his door, "are in in there?" She knocks again, shifting the plant her arms, but still doesn't get a response.

She walks around to peak in through the window but she wasn't tall enough to completely reach it. She sits the plant down carefully and lifts herself up and peers through the window. Still there was still no sign of him or the exceed.

Then the door opens, and Happy appears with a sad smile. He sees (Y/n) looking in the window and his face perks up a bit. "(Y/n)!" He exclaims, causing the girl to return to the ground and flew into her arms.

"Hey Happy." She greets calmly, hugging him tight. "How have you two been? Everyone's really worried about you..."

"Natsu's been taking a pretty hard, he can't sleep and doesn't eat very much..." He trails off and shakes his head, "how are Elfman and Mirajane?" He asks, wanting to change the subject but he was wondering how everyone was doing.

"Mirajane came back to the guild yesterday after being radio silent a week and a half. She's completely changed, at least that's what Elfman told me when I went to see him. She isn't wearing the gothic clothing anymore and she is doing her best to keep positive." (Y/n) replies and Happy pulls away from the hug.

"Natsu won't be happy about this, but do you want to come in?" He offers after a moment of silence.

She nods, "if you don't mind. I won't be staying long though."

Happy flies back over to the door, (Y/n) pickles up the plant, and follows him inside.

She walked in to find Natsu at the door. "Oh, it's you." He said with heavy bags underneath his eyes. "What do you want?"

(Y/n) sighs softly, "here." She says and shoved the plant into Natsu arms.

"Why are you giving me this?" He asks in a monotone voice.

"I gave it to Lissanna-" Natsu cringed at the name. "-awhile back. Elfman gave it to me saying 'it would only die if it stayed here'. And now I want you to have it."

He stared at the plant in his arms. It was nothing but a plant, and yet it reminded him so much of Lisanna. To him, it was glowing with her presence. That's when it hit him, "this is your magic, isn't it?"

She nods as a reply.

"How much water and sunlight?" He asks, his voice perking up a bit.

"Fair about of sunlight and water it twice a week." She replied, waiting to see if Natsu would catch on.

To her surprise he caught on quickly, "she was always happy but never faked a smile. When she was upset, she would show it. And we would go in missions twice a week..."

He looks up from the plant and at his best friend, "(Y/n)...." he trails off.

"Well, I'll take my leave then." (Y/n) smiles softly at him, "see you at the guild?" Natsu nods in response as she turns around and closes the door as she exits the house.

Natsu returned to the guild three days after receive the plant he named Lis. A little by little, the guild started to move on from the tragedy.

Something strange started happening with Team Natsu. Mostly between the original team members, (Y/n) and Natsu.

It started off with only Happy noticing. He always brushed it off because they have been friends for so long.

Then Grey noticed something. They seemed...closer? Even the writer, Lucy, didn't know how to phrase it. Finally, the group had turned it Erza and Wendy for guidance.

"Wait, why me?" Wendy asked.

"You are the youngest and have the purest heart!" Happy says. "We also thought about seeing this situation threw the eyes of a child." Lucy said dramatically.

"Well you already said it yourself." Erza said, taking a bite of her strawberry cake. "They're just getting closer."

"But how much closer can you get other than best friends?" Happy asks.

"Super best friend?!" Wendy says, standing up out of her chair.

The group goes silent for a moment. "Yeah... I don't think that's it..." Gray says in a nice tone.

Wendy sits back down and the team starts brainstorming.

Meanwhile, Natsu and (Y/n) were coming back from a quick mission. Natsu asked Happy if he would stay at the guild for this one, not giving him much of an explanation. Happy agrees to stay behind which lead to him asking the group that very question.

Anyway, (Y/n) had heard about a new dessert shop opening up a little ways from the guild. "So do you mind if we stop in there?"

"Not at all," Natsu beamed. "I'm always up for eating."

There weren't many people in line when they arrived at the shop. They each picked out a different item and stepped outside to taste out their order.

The sun was starting to go down as they try out their sweets. "Not bad." Natsu said, taking another huge bite.

"Looks like it's more than 'not bad'." She giggles, as Natsu glares over at her but not in a serious way. "You have cream all over your face..."

Natsu whips off his face with his shirt sleeve, "did I get it?"

She nods and sighs, handing him a napkin. He takes it but with a puzzled look. "To clean your shirt with." She replied, taking a bite of her dessert.

They ate in silence, enjoying each other company. It was Natsu who broke the silence, "hey, (Y/n)?"

"Hmm?" She hums as a reply.

"We've been friends for a long time now...you know?" He says, voice trailing off.

"Yeah we've always been best friends since they day you found out my magic." She smiles, "but, why are you bring this up?"

"Because I want you to be more than just my best friend."

Oh.

"Natsu-"

"You don't have to say anything, it was a stupid idea anyway." He says, standing up."

"No Natsu it's not that-"

"Really, (Y/n) it's okay." He's back is turned to her, "just forget I said anything."

"Natsu wait," she stands up quickly and grabs his hand lightly. "You didn't give me a chance to say anything."

"I already know what you're going to say, like I said it was stupid and I should have never brought it up-"

"Natsu I'm trans."

He stopped talking. The world around them went silent. "Well, I guess technically I am. I was a man at a point in time but I'm biologically female. So...uh..."

He turns around and looks at her, dead in the eyes. He sees fear and guilt in them. "You know this doesn't change how I feel about you, right?"

"It doesn't?" She asks in surprise.

"No, of course it doesn't. Being transgender doesn't matter to me. You are you and that's all that matters to me." He smiles.

"I'm sorry I just-"

"Why are you sorry?"

"I don't know..." She mumbles, "I'm sorry because I wasn't honest with you about who I was..."

"But you were always honest with me. You're a women, you're strong, you can control nature like holy shit!" He says and gets (Y/n) to crack a smile. "You're (Full name) and I wouldn't have it any other way."

(Y/n) smiles up at him and pulls him into a hug. "Thank you."

He hugs her back tightly, "dunno why you're thanking me but your welcome."

They stay like this for a few minutes but (Y/n) breaks the silence this time. "Natsu, will you go out with me?"

He chuckles but nods. "I would love too."

The two enter the guild, hand in hand and Team Natsu looks at them. And they all say "oh, that's what it is. They're in love."

About a year has passed since (Y/n) and Natsu started dating. The topic of parents have come up once or twice, but the topic always ended before any actions were made. Until one day, "wait, so you want to meet my parents?"

"Yeah it's about time I do." He smiles, "do you want to meet your parents?"

"Well yeah of course I do. They've been dying to meet you and always ask about you every time I go home. But I never knew how to bring it up..."

"Aw!" He says, "you're being shy," he hugs her, "thanks so cute❤︎"

She glares at him, refusing to hug him back. "I'm going to see them next month if you want to come with me."

"You don't need to give them a heads up first?" He replies, still refusing to let go."

"They've been waiting to meet you since I first told them we started dating. Trust me they will be more than prepared." She replies.

And sure enough, a month goes by and they are standing at the door of the (l/n) residence. A shorter man answers the door, his faces lights up when he sees Natsu. "Honey!" He shouts, running back into the house. "(Y/n) brought home a boy!"

"Finally!" A women's voice shouts from deeper inside of the house.

The couple was still standing in the doorway, "welcome house." Natsu chuckles. (Y/n) chuckles too and enters the house, Natsu following behind her.

The married couple stares up at Natsu in awe. "He's real." The mother teared up.

"Mother!" (Y/n) exclaims.

"We're so proud of you." The father starts tearing up as well.

"I hate you all." The daughter says with a blank face.

The parents, in the blink of an eye, hugged their daughter tightly. "You know we're just kidding." They say at the same time.

"I know." She replies, struggling to breath. "You can let go."

The parents shake their heads and Natsu smiles at the odd scene playing out in front of him. But something else was bothering him. Or rather had him curious.

Now the mother was very good at reading people, especially their faces. She says it comes with raising a daughter.

The parents finally let go after their daughter prided them off of her. "How about we eat dinner?" The mother suggests, "we can get to know each other over a nice meal?"

"That'll be great!" Natsu smiles, "oh, I'm sorry. I haven't introduced myself yet." He chuckles, "I'm Natsu." He holds his hand out to shake, "but, uh, you already know that..."

The parents smile and shake his hand, "it's a pleasure to have you here, Natsu."

(Y/n) smirks and whispers in her boyfriends ear as her parents walk away. "Who's the shy one now?"

Natsu gives her a playful glare in return, watching her walk off to help set the table.

Once dinner was set the mother spoke up, "is something on your mind, Natsu?" She asked, taking a bite of her meal.

"Oh it's nothing really." He waves but the mother gives him a stern look. "It's just that..." He pauses and looks over at his girlfriend. She doesn't seem angry so far, he decides to say that was on his mind. "You guys don't really look alike..."

The parents look over at their daughter in shock. She shakes her head as they have a silent conversation. "Natsu," the father broke the silence, "there's something (Y/n) hasn't told you yet.."

"And we'll tell you but only if she's comfortable with it..." The mother finishes, looking over to receive a nod from her daughter.

"(Y/n) is not our daughter by blood. Her family was killed over two thousand years ago. But her mother put her to sleep in order to save her life. Her body did not age while she was asleep though."

"Natsu," (Y/n) speaks up, "when I was a kid, all those years ago, it always felt like the nature around me was calling to me. To my surprise, I was right. That day, when my biologically mother put me to sleep, nature transformed me into the person I was on the inside. They knew I was a women and granted me my greatest wish. In return I asked if I could do something. They asked if I would become the bridge between humans, nature and magic. And, as you can see, I agreed."

It took Natsu a minute to process everything, "so you knew (Y/n) was trans when you met her, right?"

The parents nodded, "yes. She was crying about how she was finally in the right body." The mother said.

"We just knew it was our job to take her in, after all I am a trans man myself." The father added.

Natsu looks at them, seeing them hold hands finally sets free his tears. "Thank you for saving her."

(Y/n) and her parents start crying as well, "thank you for being there for her."

Dinner was finished after many tears were shed and the couple was off to Magnolia.

"So what now?" (Y/n) says, taking Natsu's hand in hers.

"What do you mean?" He asks, tilting his head a bit.

"Hasn't your opinion of me change a little?" She replies.

"Not at all," he replies stopping in his tracks and leans his forehead onto hers, "I still love you all the same."
