《Anime One Shots Book 1》Katsuki Bakugo X Female! Reader (My Hero Academia) {Test Of Courage?}

Alright I am all caught up with this anime so now I can finally write for it!
You know we never had a real test of courage..." Mumbled Mineta.
"Yeah yeah yeah you big perv." Kirishima said, using his quirk to knock him out cold. "Sorry..." He said, not meaning to knock him out.
All the girls silently thanked him, getting sick and tried of his prey comments. "Well now that he's knocked out, we won't have even number again!" Tsu says, making everyone else gathered in the common room count everyone in the room.
"Well hold on, let's see who here..." Iida replies like the good class rep he is.
"Kirishima, Iida, Tsu, Uraraka, Kaminari, Todoroki, Bakugo, Yaoyoro, Hagakure, myself and (Y/n)..." Midoriya mumbled, "so that's eleven in total but we still need a few to scare people..."
"Wait! Bakugo!" Yaoyoro exclaimed, looking around the room. "What are you doing here!"
"Kirishima dragged me down here, extra!" Bakugo shouts, "said 'it would be better if the whole class was here' or some shit like that!"
"Hey!" (Y/n) shouts, "do you want to have a real test of courage or not?! Now shut up!"
"Is it just me or is (Y/n) scarier than Bakugo?" Kaminari whispered to Ashido, Hagakure and Midoriya.
"Yeah..." mumbled Midoriya.
"I think there a match made in-"
"If you finish that sentence I'll kill you!" Bakugo shouted with (Y/n) glaring along with him at the group of whispers.
Iida sighs and pushes up his glasses, "as I was saying. We need a few people to scare the others. We can take turns and-"
"We'll do it!" Uraraka said along with Ashido, Yaoyorozu, Hagakure nodding their heads. Each girl had a weird smile on their face. As if they had already planned. "Oh! Todoroki! Could you help us out too?" Yaoyorozu asked.
"Yeah sure," he answered in a calm manner but he was actual very relived.
"So who's going with who?" Midoriya asked.
The girls suddenly had a sparkle in their eyes. "Well since most of the class is still setting up their dorm, we will just have to go with the people who are here." Tsu said, "but only (Y/n) and I are the only girls-"
"Iida, if you would so kind, please show us the plan that you and only you have created." Ashido said even though we all know that the girls had planned the whole thing.
"Bakugo and (Y/n) will go first followed by Kirishima and Tsu and finally Midoriya and Uraraka will go last. By that point everyone else will be done setting up their dorms." Iida said with a little too much pride. He trying to make it look like he came with the plan, which everyone knew wasn't true. "Kaminari and I will stand at the entrance to make sure none of you come running out."
"Tch like we'll run out." (Y/n) said with a glare.
"Alright! Everyone let's go set up!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed and leaving the common room, disappearing into the night.

"And now we wait. They should send someone to-" Iida stopped mid sentence, "oh wait that's my job!" He rushes out of the common room, speeding off to the direction the girls went.
"And now we wait." (Y/n) said, taking a seat in one of the chairs.
"This is stupid." Mumbled Bakugo, who was leaning up against the wall.
"And they have no idea...." whispered Kirishima. Asui, Midoriya and Kaminari were the only ones who thought that none of this was strange.
----
Less than a half hour later, "alright everyone!" Iida shouts as he opens the front door, "follow me!"
Everyone grumbled but followed him out to where the test of courage is being held at. "Isn't this one of the practice city areas?" Midoriya asked.
"Yeah we thought that it would be easier to set everything up here plus it's closer to the dorms than the woods." Iida replied.
The group walked all the way until the middle floor of one of the many buildings. They stopped at the door, standing on the stairway. "Alright, Bakugo and (Y/n) are up first."
Either of them wanted to do this but it's too late now. Besides, it'll be fun for the class. Right?
Bakugo and (Y/n) opened the door and saw the fake blood on the walls. "Tch, this stupid." Bakugo said, "it's not even scary!"
"Yeah no shit, it's clearly fake." (Y/n) agrees and they started walking again.
"Oh and one last thing, no using your quirks." Iida said and slammed the door shut, locking it in the process.
They both rolled their eyes, "what's the point of locking the door." (Y/n) scoffed, "does think we are going to chicken out?"
Taking a few steps, glass breaks making (Y/n) get into a fighting stance.
"Jeez will you stop playing hero for donee second." Bakugo spits.
"If you really are a hero you would be like this too dumb ass." (Y/n) bites back, "it's better than saying 'oh oh oh' when a person appears."
"Who told you about that!" He shouts back, "you weren't even there!"
"B-class talks you know! They got a lot of loud mouths there!"
Glass breaks again, interrupting the argument. "Whatever let's get this over with!" He shouts, walking ahead. (Y/n) catches up and walks next to him.
When they enter the next room, the door slams shut. Next, floating candles were lit one by one. The two future heroes searched around the room to find their classmates, but they were no where to be found.
"The hell?" Mumbled Bakugo. "How are they doing this?" Added (Y/n).
One something hits the window hard, feathers dropped but the object wasn't seen. "D-did they really just make a bird fly i-into the window!?"
"Tch why does it scare you?" Bakugo, facing (Y/n) who moved closer to the window. Then he jumped. "What the fuck!" He shouts.
"What?" (Y/n) whips her head around to see Bakugo. "Something just-" Bakugo was cut off by the candles falling one by one. Glass shattering on impact creating a dangerous floor.

(Y/n) planed on watching the madness happen but Bakugo had other plans. "Come on shithead," he grabbed her and pulled her towards the door. They made it out of that room unharmed but Bakugo never let go of her hand.
The next room was strange. It was dimly lit with the regular building lights. No fake blood on the walls, nothing out of the ordinary. They assumed since it was the second to last room on the floor, they didn't do anything.
After walking about half way into the room, another bird like thing slammed into the window. Causing both future heroes to whip their heads towards the window. "This again? Really?" Bakugo rolled his eyes.
Then another hit, "there's no way they are really making birds fly into the window, right?" (Y/n) asked Bakugo. "Doubt it." He replied, "come on let's go." They started walking again, ignoring the bird like things crashing into the window. That is until the window broke, making (Y/n) to react quickly.
She pushed Bakugo down to the ground, causing the broken glass to fall onto her. She looks down at Bakugo, "are you okay?"
"Y-yeah..." he notices that her breathing has changed.
A change in a persons breathing is one of the things Bakugo has learned from his short time at UA high school. During the rescue portion, they taught about how some people don't like showing that they are hurt. If a person is breathing heavily or faint, it may be a sight that they are hurt.
"Are you?" He asked, she nods. "Yeah just a little prick it all." Broken glass surround them, causing (Y/n) to push herself of of Bakugo via his shoulders.
Bakugo stands up as well, checking the places she was cut. Glass was all in her hair, "what the hell were they thinking..." He grumbled angrily, picking the glass out of her hair.
"(Y/n)! Bakugo!" Uraraka shouted, opening the door. "I'm so sorry!" Yaoyozu shouts, rushing towards them. "Are any of you guys hurt?" Todoroki asks, coming to help too.
"Who's idea was it to break the glass!?" Shouted Bakugo, "huh!?"
"Bakugo they didn't-" he stared daggers at you until you stopped talking.
Everyone was silent before (Y/n) spoke up again, "Bakugo it's okay really." She said calmly, "they didn't mean to-"
"It does matter whether they meant to or not!" He shouts, grabbing her hand and pulling her away from everyone else.
They walked out of the building without saying a word, the other students didn't follow them. "Bakugo, are you sure you're okay?"
"How can I be okay when someone hurts the one of the few people I care about!" He shouts, "they hurt you (Y/n)! And for what?! A stupid game!"
"Bakugo-" She takes in a deep breath, "let's not do this right now. You are blinded by rage and all you need to do it cool down."
He glares at you, thinking that you just ignored his words. "Whatever. We need to get you back to the dorms and fix your arm."
She looks down at where she was cut the most at. "Look on the bright side, at least the bleeding stopped. And we both stopping fighting. That's good, right?"
Bakugo turns away from her knowing that looking at her in this state caused more pain.
----
(Y/n) opened her dorm room, "thank you for walking me here. You should go get some rest-"
Bakugo walks passed her, "at least let me help you."
She gives him a soft smile, turns on the lights and closes the door. "Thank you." (Y/n) said before disappearing to the bathroom. She comes back out with all the medical supplies needed to fix up her wounds.
"I should be the one thanking you." Bakugo whispered, pick up a roll of bandages. He starts wrapping the cut around her arm in the bandage. "You're the one who saved me after all."
"Just doing what a pro-hero would do." She replies, "did you get cut by any of the glass?"
He shook his head, "now thanks to you. Man you're such a dumb ass. Saving me while getting yourself hurt in the process."
"Yeah I know, I'm sorry. I didn't know what else to do and-"
"Why are you apologizing?"
"I dunno, just a habit I guess. Besides a pro-hero would have reacted better so that no one would get hurt..."
Bakugo finishes dressing her wounds, looking her in the eye. "A pro-hero wouldn't apologize for helping another person."
She smiles at him, "yeah I know...."
He shakes his head, and turns around. "What the hell is so special about you?"
"What do you mean?"
"Why the hell are you being so nice to me now?" He asks.
"Because you're being nice to me." She answers, "why are you being so nice to me?"
"Because I think about you more than I fucking should. You're always in my fucking head. I wake up and think 'oh boy can't wait to see (Y/n)' like I have a damn crush on you." Bakugo pauses, turning back around to face her. "And now I care about you, more than a person who I argue with."
"Awwww, you have a heart." (Y/n) said, "come on now Bakugo. We've been too sappy for one night. So how about this, I like you a lot."
"And I like you, a lot." He replied leaning in for a kiss. (Y/n) puts her hand in front of his face. "Sorry but I don't kiss on the first date."
Bakugo takes her hand in his, moving his other hand to her cheek. "Good thing this isn't a first date."
I tried getting this one shot out before 2020 and I'm a few minutes late but I rushed the ending so I won't be too late. (And can I just say that I love this dumb ass)
Happy New Year!!
LOVE YOU GUYS

CW: Contains mildly graphic scenes of violence/death, topics of unwanted pregnancy/abortion, scientific experimentation on sapient beings, depression/suicide, grief, and trauma. The tone of this fiction is often dark and distinctly dystopian in lighter shades of Margaret Atwood, though where there is darkness there is always hope and light. On Hiatus Until September When the School Year Begins and Mom This story takes a considerable amount of time and mental energy to complete. I thought I had enough backlog and time to post it as a serial while COVID kept my child home from school, but it turns out while I can quickly write other pieces, I cannot produce the quality I need with this one at an acceptable rate. We'll resume in September when my days are much freer. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned for a different storytelling romp more suited for a serial platform in the meantime.

Using an ancient teleportation spell, he and his siblings were sucked into a portal leading to God-knows-where. In a foreign place far from home, Luz carries the burden of disobeying his ancestors and losing his younger brothers. He sets off to reunite his siblings and slay the dragon that destroyed their village while only being equipped with one useless space spell that drains all his mana after one usage. Author's note: English isn't my first language and this is the first novel I tried writing, which is why some of the earlier chapters aren't that good, even though I grew better over time. I'm still in the phase of editing a lot of my earlier chapters. But unfortunately, I haven't yet found any time for it. Daily updates are to be expected till we reach chapter 100. If your comment motivates me, I might upload up to five chapters.^^
