While I was watching the second episode of season three, this idea popped into my head.

"Eh! Yū-chan!" Tanaka called as Nishinoya was getting water.

The libero looks over at him, "yeah?"

"How is (y/n)-chan doing?" Tanaka asks and drinks some water.

"She's been hyped ever since her team won their spring championship. Why are you suddenly asking about her?"

"Well uh..." Tanaka trailed off.

"We were going to ask her if she could practice with us." Daichi came in, getting a drink of water. "Since we know she's a powerful player and all."

Nishinoya smiled, "that would be awesome! I know she'll do it, after all we've been talking about going head to head against each other before we even started dating!"

The two boys smiled, "we should tell the others." Daichi said.

"I should text her and see if she can make it today before anything else." Nishinoya told them, showing a different side of himself.

Daichi smiled, "you've grown a lot, Nishinoya."

"What do you mean? I'm the same person I have always been." He replied, walking over to his gym bag to find his phone. The boys walked with him to continue the conversation.

"Yeah but you act more loving when you talk about (y/n)." Daichi said, "you must really like her."

Nishinoya smiled, "yeah I really do." He said as he typed in his phone password. "You can go back to practice, I'll be there as soon as she responds." Tanka and Daichi nod and head back to the others.

'Hey! Tanka and Daichi want to play against you. Are you up for something like that?' Nishinoya hit send and looked up to watch his teammates play.

"Eh Tuskishima! Would you serve already!" Tanaka shouted as he ran back to the court.

Tsukishima serves the ball and hits Tanka right in the face, "you mother fu-"

"Tanaka!" Daichi shouted, "language!"

Nishinoya laughed and revived a text back from his girlfriend. 'Hell yeah! What time do I need to be there?'

'Whenever you can. Don't you have practice today?' Nishinoya got a response right after he hit send.

'Yeah we just finished up, I'll be there in a few minutes

He smiled and shouted at Daichi, "she said yes!"

The team looks over at the libero, "d-did Nishinoya j-just get m-married?" Hinata asked Kageyama. "No he didn't dumbass."

"Language!" Daichi shouted at the first years, "now come on! Let's play already!"

Nishinoya joined Tanka's team and gave him a high five as he ran passed him.

It was the end of the teams match when (y/n) slide open the gym door. "Hey guys!" She greeted and began to change her shoes, "how is everyone?" She then waved to Shimizu who greeted her at the door.

"You made it just in time," Shimizu said and handed her towel, knowing her friend ran all the way to the school. "Do you need some time to warm up?"

(Y/n) shook her head, "nah I'm always ready. Thank you though." She replied with a smile.

"Well they've been looking forward to this all day, better not keep them waiting much longer." (Y/n) nodded and smiled at the girl before running off to see her boyfriend.

"Hey Yū!" She says and gives him a kiss on the cheek before running off to the other side of the court, "bye Yū!"

Nishinoya stood dumbfounded while the team laughs, "w-what?" He snaps out of his trance, "why won't you play on my team (y/n)-chan!"

"Because that won't be much fun!" She shouts from across the net, high fiving Hinata and greeted the others on the team.

"(Y/n)-chan nice serve!" Asahi shouted before she made the ball fly to the other side of the court.

"Out!" Daichi shouted as the ball missed the line.

It was Nishinoya's turn to sever, (y/n) at the back, "come on babe! Show me what ya got!"

The team smiled at her, "she's defiantly a supportive girlfriend." Tanaka said to himself.

Nishinoya served and managed to get it over the net, "left!" (Y/n) shouted to the raven haired setter.

"(Y/n)-chan!" Kageyama said and tossed the ball to her. She slams the ball to the ground right next to her boyfriend. The ball the bounces back up and hits the wall, everyone stared at it. (Y/n) landed on her own to feet with a smile on her face. The whole team the looked at her then back at where the ball landed.

"S-scary..." Hinata said softly.

"Y-yeah..." The team agreed with him.

"Come on now guys!" (Y/n) shouted, making everyone jump, "you've faced power house schools! It's just me! One person, not five power house players."

"She's right," Nishinoya said, "we can take her!"

(Y/n) chuckled, "bring it on little boy."

By the end of practice, it was well into the night. "Alright!" Daichi shouted at the end of the tenth practice match, "that's more than enough for today. Let's clean up!"

The team was sitting down on the floor and did not want to get up. (Y/n) was still full of energy, "I got it guys." She said causing the team to look over at her, "go on home. I'll clean up."

"How is it that you still have energy?" Tsukishima asked, "what kind of practice to you do?"

"What do you eat!?" Tanaka shouted, "how come you have so much stamina!?"

(Y/n) chuckled as she went around and picked up all the volley balls around the gym with Shimizu. "I don't eat anything and I've been able to practice everyday like this for the passed few years."

"You don't eat anything?" Shimizu asked, "then why haven't you passed out yet?"

"Will power I guess. I tell myself I'll eat after this set or when I'm done practicing. But then I end up staying too long and go awhile without eating. After awhile my body got used to it." (Y/n) replied and tossed the volley balls into the basket as if they were basketballs.

"You should give yourself breaks." Daichi said at the door, about to head out to the club room. "Trust me you shouldn't put that much pressure on yourself."

(Y/n) shook his words off and began to lower the net. "I'll be fine."

The captain sighed, "maybe you will but Nishinoya will freak if something bad will happen to you."

She didn't respond, it was just her and the captain in the gym. "Just think about it." He said and closed the gym door. Leaving the power house alone with her thoughts.

"Ready to go?" Nishinoya popped his head in the gym only to find his girlfriend on the floor against the wall.

"(Y/n)?" He called, "babe?"

Deep breath in, then out, "yeah?" She replied standing up.

He gave her a sad smile, "tired?"

"Very." She said, "let's go home."

Nishinoya smiled and took her hand, "guess you do have your limits. That's good to know."

"Why is that?" (Y/n) asked as the two stepped out into the cold winter night after turning the lights off.

"Because now I know you take breaks. Even if you can go a long period of time without them." He said and squeezed her hand, "I worry about you, you know that, right?"

"Yeah but you shouldn't have too."

"But I want too, you're my girlfriend after all."

"What does that have to do with anything?"

He chuckled, "it means that as your boyfriend I want you to be okay. I want to help you in anyway I can." He pulled her into his embrace, "okay?"

"Okay." She mumbled, "could you let go now?"

"Not yet."

".....Yū...."

He replied with a hum.

"Yū I want to sleep." She answered, moving closer to him.

He rested his head on her shoulder before letting her go, but made sure to take her and in his. "Then I'll walk you home. After all we don't live very far away from each other."

She nods and they walk home in silence, not awkward or anything, just enjoying each others company.
