"(Yyyyyyyyy/nnnnnnnn)!" Whined Natsu who was now standing at the foot go my bed. "Move already!"

I shook my head and didn't say a word.

"Ccccoooommmeeee ooooooonnnnnnn! It's been weeks! Can you at least look at me?"

I rolled over to face him and then rolled back over to once again me face planted in my bed. After all, who doesn't love their bed?

"Everyone is wondering where you are! Please come with me on one job! It won't even be that long!" He was yelling louder every time. So I grabbed the one pillow on my bed and covered my head with it.

"Fine!" He shouted and slammed my bedroom door. It's about time he gave up and let me stay here. Usually he gives up after ten minutes but this time it felt longer. Not being able to see the clock on the wall is never a good thing.

I never heard the front door close.

A few minutes later, Natsu walked back into the room. "I know you aren't doing to well, for reasons that you will not tell me about, so I figured I'd mark off 'eat cake for breakfast' your bucket list."

He sat down the slice of (favorite cake) next to me and took the pillow off my head. "Trust me, I did not make this. I asked Mira and even payed for it myself. Will you sit up? I-I mean, do you want to sit up?"

"Don't treat me like I'm fragile." I snapped and sat up but quickly realized how mean that was. "S-sorry that didn't come out right..."

He shook his head and smiled, "good to see you still have a spine. Wanna eat and then go out on a job?"

I nodded and thanked him for the cake, "I'll pay you back. Promise," holding out my pinky finger for him to link with. He repeated the same acting and we shook pinkies. "Promise." He replied, "just like when we were kids."

"Yeah too bad things happened as we got older." Taking a bit of my cake, my face lit up. "Th- so goo-" I said while chewing.

Firebreath laughed and smirked at me. "What?" He shook his head and said, "nothing." Deciding to drop the subject, I took another bite of the cake.

That's when this asshole decided to lick the icing I had on my face. Causing me to pick up his since of cake and throw it at his face. "What the damn hell!" I shouted as Natsu bursted out laughing.

"Relax I'm your boyfriend after all! I have a free pass now!" He said in between laughs. "I'll even let go you throwing cake at me. If I get a kiss."

I glared at him and scarfed down the rest of my cake. This way he could not take my slice of throw it at me. "Not gonna happen."

He smirked once again, "you have more icing on your face~"

Quickly getting it off with the back of my hand caused Natsu faces to form a frown. "You're no fun."

I laughed and kissed his lips, "sweet, just like you."

"Now there's the person I love." He said smiling softly at me, "whatever's been on your mind, whatever something been telling you, please tell me. You may think it's scary but remember that it's not Erza chasing after you with her swords. If it is that then uh.... I'll help you fight her off!" He shouted, punching the air.

I laughed and that made his smile grow bigger. "Nothing will scare me off. Even if it's Erza chasing after you, I'll be here to help. I'll be here no matter what. If that means dragging you by your ankles out of bed then so be it. I love you, that's something that'll never change."

He pulled me into his embrace and held me tight. "Don't you forget that."
