"(Y/n)!" Hinata whined, "come one! You gotta go to school!"
The (h/c) rolled over, facing away from the volleyball player. Deciding to not a say word.
"Please! For me?" He asked again.
They shook their head. A soft "nope" was muffled by the pillow.
Kageyama then entered the room, "not working?"
"No, they don't want to go to school. Even though they have too!" Hinata said the last part very loud.
(Y/n) flipped him off, making Kageyama spit out his milk. The milk landed all over the floor, causing Hinata to laugh.
"Stop laughing, dumbass!" Kageyama shouted at the small volleyball player. "It's not funny!"
"Yes it is!" Hinata shouted.
The two looked over at (y/n), who hasn't made a single movement.
"Are we gonna have to drag them out of bed?" Hinata whispered to Kageyama.
"Yes." He said, walking out of the room. "Come help me clean this up, will ya?"
"Yeah okay..." replied the middle blocker.
After the spilt milk was cleaned up, the boys turned their attention back to the bed lover.
"What should we do?" Hinata asked the setter.
"Don't know, never seen them like this before." He replied, "they're usually happy and loud. Do you know what happened? You guys went to the same junior high, right?"
"Yeah but this is the first time I've seen them like this." Hinata said, sitting down next to (y/n). "Do you want to talk about it?"
(Y/n) shook their head and a muffled "no" was heard.
Kageyama sat on the other side, "you sure? You don't have to look at us."
(Y/n) stayed still, thinking about the option.
"They're thinking about it!" Hinata exclaimed.
"Shut up, dumbass!" Shouted the setter, but then noticed the sad look on Hinata's face. "S-sorry, that was uncalled for."

(Y/n) ball up their fist, holding onto the pillow case. The two looked at each other, then back at the bed lover, waiting for them to say something.
"They -care" were the only words that could be heard.
"They?"
"Care?"
(Y/n) shook their head rapidly, "they don't care! They don't even like you!" Sobs were muffled due to the pillow.
"Who doesn't care?" Hinata asked.
"Us?" Kageyama added.
"What do you mean 'us'! Of course we care! That's why we're here! That's why we picked the lock on the door!" Hinata defended.
The room fell silent. Both volleyball players knew what they had to do. Hinata and Kageyama made (y/n) sit up, exposing their sad face.
"We do care." Hinata said, "wether you believe us or not. You know Kageyama cares about something when he stops drinking his morning milk."
Kageyama glares at Hinata, "no matter what you think, we'll always be here." He hugs the crying (y/n), "love you."
"Love you." Hinata said, repeating Kageyama's actions.
"I love you guys too." (Y/n) said mustering up a strong voice. "Thank you."

Summoner's Journey
[Before you read - the story is officially dead. The reasons behind it are posted in the last chapter.] In a magic world on the verge of an industrial revolution, Ari Ragnarsson must uncover the truth behind his parents' disappearance. They were part of an organization known as the Order, which protects mankind from various threats - both human and supernatural. Now, after Ari's brands finally manifest, he leaves the safety of his village and travels to the continent. Strength is all that matters in this world and he must learn how to control his powers. There, he meets a man from another world, who's being hunted for merely existing. Their fates become intertwined, but not in a way either of them would appreciate. Author's note (contains minor non-story related spoilers about the MC and setting) This is a progression fantasy with LITRPG elements sprinkled on top. The main character is not a spellsword, but a summoner/support mage hybrid. Since he wasn't ambushed by a random god, there's no cheat item/spell and he has to rely on his skills and wits to survive in a world full of monsters. The story tries to show the moment when the old starts to be replaced by the new, with a healthy dose of magic and a little steampunk in the background. Also, it revolves around a party dynamic akin to RPG sessions. No health/mana bars. Numbers are secondary and the LITRPG elements focus more on classes/spells/runes and their evolutions. Tables are sparse at the beginning, but from chapter 7 onwards they appear more often. Still, I won't be copy-pasting the whole character sheet dozens of times per chapter.
