《Anime One Shots Book 1》Kenma Kozume X Kuudere! Reader (Haikyuu!!) {Two Gamers Across The Street}

There's this boy across the street who is never seen outside. I guess his parents don't try to make him to social. Lucky, that's all mine make me do. I don't get it, I make good grades but I guess that's not enough.
This boy and I have been going to the same school for awhile now. Take the same route to school and were even in the same classes at one point. He and I were the only kids who dared to being in a 3Ds back when they were poplar among other weird kids.
Times have changed since then. Almost everyone has a phone now and talks to people. In this school, being social is the way to survive. Not standing out is another way but that's with every school. You either stand out or fit in. That's what they always told us as kids. I'd rather blind in.
Getting lost in a see of people was never fun but that's life. As long as I get into a good uni, nothing else matters right now. Still, I want to talk to this guy. We have a lot in common from what I can tell. He seems like the person to watch people and how they act around certain people.
One day back in our first year of junior high, we ended up sitting next to each other at lunch. Both of us had our 3Ds's with us, because leaving them in the classroom was not a same place. Turns out we were playing the same game, and that was our first interaction.
Second interaction was a few days ago, it was being replayed over and over in my head. He asked me about a strategy for the volleyball club.
"If we put two loud people as blockers and then a more 'normal' person in the middle, that should balance things out. What do you think?" He asked as we were on our way home.

I thought for a moment, "if you mean that they won't get as fired up, then it depends on who you're playing. If against a team that doesn't care then they should be fine. If they are playing against another loud team, then they may loose their 'chill' faster. The middle person would have to be able to keep both of them calm." I answer.
Kenma seemed surprised at my response. "I agree, thank you for your impute."
With that we had made it to our street and went into our homes.
----
We met up after school today, about a month after that interaction. I went across the street and over to his house.
"You said that you couldn't finish this level?" I asked, taking a seat on his bedroom floor.
He nodded, "yes, do you know how?"
"Go up the stairs that are to the left." I started and he followed my directions, "jump into the water and swim up the waterfall."
"Swim up?" He asked.
"Yes, the jump up onto the land." I replied, "then take a left and the boss is though that door." I started to get up before he grabbed my hand.
"Can you stay a little longer, just until I finish this boss?" He asked.
I nodded and sat back down beside him.
"Any tips for beating him?" He asked.
"Stay away from the middle and keep using doge roll."
I ended up stay for dinner that day. Every once in a while I go over to his place and we talk about the new video game we've been playing or book. Some times he would run a new strategy for the volleyball club. He's taken me to a few practices and games to watch and observe them.

"The two cats really are good together. How long do you think it'll take them to go out on a date?" One of the players asked.
"What makes you think that haven't already?" The other player responded.
"Knock it off you two." Kenma said, "get back in your positions."
They both nodded and Kenma looked up at me in the stands. A smiled was placed on his lips, mirroring the one on mine.
