Came up with this idea while in history class. Plus I think that this story needed some more and I like it so yeah!

After I met all the punk kids, I introduced some of the nerds to them. A few of us that got along well together ended up making a small group. Of course I still had my nerd friends and Naruto and Temari still had their punk friends.

A week after Naruto and I met, he somehow got my number. I was reading at midnight when I got a text message.

'Unknown: Hey (y/n)! This is Naruto!'

I sighed and add him to my contacts, 'how did you get my number?'

'Temari gave it to me.'

I sighed and left him on 'read' for the rest of that very early morning. We met up at school and he ran over to me as soon as he saw me.

"What happened to you!? Why didn't you say anything back!" He shouted as we walked over to our small friend group.

"I didn't know what else to say! Plus I was kicking ass at the time!" I replied.

"And what does 'kicking ass' mean?"

"It means she's playing a game on critical mode." Temari answered.

"So she is really kicking ass." Sasuke added.

I shrugged, "no big deal I've played this game too many times."

"Tales of Berseria?" Temari asked.

I shook my head, "nope but close."

"Tales of Zestiria?" Shikamaru asked.

I smiled, "yep!"

Shikamaru handed over a some money to Temari. "You guys betted on this?!" Naruto asked.

"Yeah, ever since Temari's boyfriend broke up with her we've been able to hang out more." Shikamaru said.

"Turns out that he was lying to me about working for his family. But I'll tell you the details later." She said, looking up at the security camera on the wall.

I nodded and the bell rang for us to go to class. Naruto and I said our goodbyes to the group and left.

"I can walk by myself you know." I said to Naruto.

"Yeah I know but I want to walk you to class." He replied.

"But your homeroom is on the other side."

"Eh, I don't really care if I'm late or not. Besides this way I know that you're safe."

I smiled, "thank you." With that I walked into my homeroom, knowing that I'll find Naruto in the hallway once I exit to go to my next class.

He does this with all of my other classes as well. He finds me in the hallway, walks with me to my next class, and then runs off to his.

I found Naruto outside the door of my last class, he smiled at me. "Hey!" He greeted.

We started talking as we made our way through the crowd. I was shoved into Naruto by another person who then rushed off and disappeared into the crowd of people. Making Naruto catch me before I hit someone. He glared at the back of the person head before losing sight of him. We kept moving towards the student parking lot.

We were now on the sidewalk which led to all the students cars. "Hey (y/n)," Naruto started. I looked up at him, "yes?"

"Do you wanna maybe get dinner?" He asked. "Its completely up to you of course!"

I smiled and nodded. "I would love too."

We decided on the place where we first went to eat a week ago. His face flushed and some of his friends saw me.

"Aw, look at the two love birds!" They laughed. We both blushed. I looked away while Naruto flipped them off, "yeah yeah yeah, keep walking Suigetsu!" Naruto shouted back.

We got into our cars and drove off campus.

We had arrived and sat down at the bar. "Hey Naruto!" A punk girl from our school greeted. She smiled over at me. She took our orders and gave them to the chef before waiting on other tables.

"Wow you're famous around here huh." I said, making Naruto smiled and pointed up over at the wall.

"'First place for ramen eating contest.'" He read the sign aloud. "That was three years ago. My family and I used to come in here all the time." He said.

I didn't know whether or not to ask what happened, "please don't ask." He said, looking over at the wall again.

"I never came here with my family. They say they don't like ramen..."

Naruto jerked his head in my direction, "what!? What do you mean your family doesn't like ramen!?" He shouted. Other people eating started to stare over at us, he didn't seem to mind them.

"Naruto, people are starting to stare at us." I told to him, looking him in the eye.

He sighed and said, "sorry I just really love ramen and I'm very passionate about it."

I giggled, "I can tell."

He smiled at me and our food came out. "Two bowls for the lady and four for the gentleman." The punk girl said, placing our food in front of us. "Is there anything I can get for you guys?"

We shook our heads and told her, "thank you!" Before she left.

I noticed that his tattoos on his hands were gone. I asked him after I was done with my first bowl and he was done with his second. "What happened to your tattoos?"

He looked over at me and I point at him hands. He laughed, "you thought those were tattoos! Damn Sasuke must be really good at drawing."

I blinked and went back to eating. "Aw are you embarrassed, it's okay."

I pouted, "I am not! It was just really cool, that's all."

He smiled, "then I'll get him to draw them again!"

I sat down my chopsticks and waved my hands around, "n-no! That's not necessary!"

He smiled at me, "you're turning red." He said before retiring back to his ramen.

I started eating again, hoping that not too many people would notice. We talked about everything from spicy vs sweet foods to who is the bigger nerd. He finally gave in and claimed that I was the bigger nerd.

The spicy vs sweet foods ended like this, "how about another date at a sweet shop and then we can get something spicy?" Naruto asked.

I laughed, "is this your way of asking me out again?"

He chuckled and scratched the back of his head, "uh maybe. Maybe not who knows."

I laughed and payed for dinner. "I said that I was getting that." He whined.

"Sorry, too slow."

He rolled his eyes and we walked out of the shop. "Come again!" The punk girl shouted and we waved at her before closing the door to the shop.

It was now night time, "damn we were in there for awhile huh. Are your parents okay with this? I don't wan to make them worry."

"I told them I was getting dinner with a friend."

"Oh." He replied, shoving his hands in his pockets.

"'Oh.' Why 'oh'? I mean that's what we are."

"What if I held your hand?" He asked, "are we still friends then?" He took his hand out of his pocket and brushed it up against mine.

"Don't know. Try it and see." I replied.

He took my head and held it as we walked to out cars. I squeezed his hand, "what do you think?"

"I think I want an upgrade, if that's okay with you."

"Yeah, as long as I'm upgraded as well." I faced palmed after I said that.

"Wow you are bad at this." He said laughing. I let go of his hand and shoved him to the side, "shut up!"

He was still laughing and took my hand again, I shoved them into my pockets.

He pouted, "oh come on! We haven't been even going out for five minutes and you're already mad at me!" He shouted, pretending to be hurt.

I smiled and grabbed his hand and we had reached our cars. He leaned in to kiss me one the lips, but I moved so he kissed my cheek instead. I smiled, "sorry but I don't kiss on the lips on the first date."

He shrugged, "fine but you're missing out." He said with a wink and got into his car. He shouted, "goodnight!" Before starting up his car. I smiled and got into mine, starting it up, and then driving off.

The next day we were at school, Naruto grabbed my hand as soon as he saw me. Temari, Shikamaru and Sasuke smirked as we walked passed them. Naruto and I both knew that they had placed at bet on us getting together.

"See I told you they were love birds!" Suigetsu shouted before Karin hits him on the head, "don't piss Naruto off you dumbass!" "You're the one who's being loud!" He shouted back. "Yeah are you aren't!" We smiled and walked into the halls.

"So when do you want this second date?" He asked.

"I'm free next week, if it's cool with you."

He nodded and kissed my cheek, "yeah, I'll see you after class!" I walked into homeroom smiling as Naruto took off down the hallway.

Soooo I am now back in school and will have exams in two weeks! I will be trying to study next week and the week after until I have finished with my exams! I know that I keep doing the same anime over and over again and I'm sorry!

Anyway I'm gonna go eat dinner now...
