"Maka!" I shouted running down the hallway, pushing some people out of my way. "Maka!" I shouted again until she stopped and saw me running towards her. I handed her back her notebook, "thank you so much for letting me use your notes, again." I said and smiled. She smiled back, "no problem." Soul was with her of course but when I looked back up from handing her notebook back, Black Star with with them as well. He was glaring at me, as usual.
He scoffed, "wow you had to get someone else notes, pathetic." He said. I glared at him, "oh really, at least I pass all the test and not have to worry about cheating." He didn't say anything back. Maka and Soul sighed, "well thanks again Maka, let me know if there is anything that I can do to repay you." She smirk and looked over at Soul. "Yeah there is one thing." Oh no. "Okay, tell me."
"Hey Black Star," Soul said, "I dare you to go on a date with (y/n)." "And (y/n) you have to go on a date with Black Star." Maka said.
Black Star and I froze, "what!?" We shouted, earring a we heads to turn in our direction.
"Well you did say that if there is any-" I cut Maka off, "yeah yeah yeah, I know what I said." I replied in a rude tone. She just smiled at me.
"And Black Star will never turn down a dare." Soul said, Black Star glared at him.
"So Friday at (place you pick that has food) after school?' Maka asked. We both nodded out heads. She smiled, "great! You too need to act like this a real date so no fighting, go it?" "Yeah we know." Black Star said, glaring at me.

Friday came around and Black Star and I met up once school ended. As we were walking over there, "this is point less." Black Star mumbled. "Yeah I know right. This isn't gonna change anything." He kept a straight face. It was silent for a while. The sun went down and the streetlights came on.
The place was closed for renovations. We came all the way here just to have to find another place. Or not. "Well now we can just lie. See you around." I said and started to walk off. "No!" Black Star yelled, I turned back around, "we're not just gonna lie to them!"
"Oh yeah, what is that! Why are you acting like you want to be here!?"
He was silent for a moment. "Look I'm not trying to pick a fight, but I just don't think it's right to just lie to them. You know?"
I knew he was right but there's no way that I would let him know that. "Whatever, it's just find a place with food."
He walked over to where I was, "I have food at my place if you're up for cooking." Black Star afford. I smiled, "I'm always up for cooking, that is if you have food."
We started walking, he glared at me. "Yes I have food!" I laughed. "oh really? When was the last time you went shopping." I teased.
"I don't go shopping but Tsubaki does!" He argued back. I punched him lightly in the arm. "I know I'm just teasing." "I knew that." He mumbled.
Once we were at his place, I walked around the kitchen looking at all the food he had. "You have a lot of rice." I said. He shrugged, "yeah Tsubaki and I both love it." "Good, I do too. What do you think about rice with shrimp and cooking string beans?" I asked. He nodded, "sounds amazing."

After a loud of yelling and food being thrown, we sat down and ate. We ended up talking about all the stupid things we did. "That one time we got into a fight about who's arms are longer, what the hell were we thinking?" I said and bursted out laughing, "we just wanted a reason to fight."
I smiled at him and he smiled back. I went back to eating my food but he was still looking at me. "What?" I asked. "Why did you need to copy Mako's notes? You're always at school." He asked. I froze, "um..." I thought for a moment, "I-I was on a mission." "You hesitated." "So what?" He shook his head, "I won't force you to answer." "Why do you want to know?"
"I just want to make sure that you're okay. That's all, really." He answered and got up. "Let's just finish this date up."
"Is it really a date?" I asked, following him. "Pretty much, haven't you ever been on a date before?" He asked.
"I'd rather not say." I replied with a straight face. "You haven't!" He shouted, "damn I thought you would have." I glared at him while I washed the dishes. Black star was cleaning up the food that was thrown. "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.
"You're really pretty so I thought that you have at least gone out with someone. That's all. I didn't mean it in a bad way."
I laughed, "Maka will tell you, I never wanted to date anyone." He nodded, "me too. It never seemed like much fun, you know?" I laughed, "I'm sure on most first dates they don't throw food at each other." He looked over at me with a grin on his face. "Only us."

Forgotten Dungeon
Death comes quickly and without warning. Even for such little personage as him. It's quite hard to start as a dungeon core. Quite harder when divine bureaucracy simply dumps you in the a** end of nowhere because of their incompetence and because of your agent status as a Fallen Angel. Yet Uno (temporary name) is used to working with subpar materials and making the best of circumstances. It doesn't help that his personality was cut down to size, but he tries to overcome the system with ingenuity and a healthy dose of duct tape. Or the local equivalent of such. *** An audiobook of the Forgotten Dungeon story has been made by Agro Squerrils and is available on YouTube, under this link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcfzFNUhrNS3Z7DfjN5pMWn-CI1uKg3s2 He has my permission and full support for doing so, so don't be shy and check it out! *** Hello people! It's a story about a dungeon. Or maybe the dungeon? Who knows. Dumped in a hostile world, working hard to overcome circumstances. There is an RPG system in place, but I'll try to make it not number-heavy. I would be more focused on skills - at least from the perspective of the sentient races. Dungeons will have their own little playground. I'll try to make MC not overpowered - it always irks me how the stories tend to go from zero to hero in a few minutes. I hope y'all will enjoy the ride! *** Also, a Discord server has been made recently: https://discord.gg/sK2pam3 Join and share your opinions, if interested! :)

The Book of Hickory
Now why did Hickory go and punch that Angel? Sure it spooked him, popping up right there at lunch, and yet, it wasn't fear that balled his hand into a fist - Cause wouldn't you? Wouldn't anyone - with a sick Ma at home, Da long dead, buried, all them prayers piling up on bruised knees, unanswered? Hickory was angry, all right. He was fierce, now - cause that Angel didn't show up to give no help, that Angel came by asking for it - with all that power just plain to see, the power to fix the world and all that ails it! And now look what poor Hickory has to do - to save the world? Now how is he supposed to do that when its taking near everything he's got - just to keep them chickens safe, Ma fed, and himself out of trouble - All he wanted was maybe just a dance with May, maybe a bit more, to hold her close? That she's sweet, now, a voice like an angel, but now she's over there lookin at him like he's more than a man. And that's not to say Hickory is bad, not all the time, not ever on purpose - just there are things a man has to - That drinking and fighting ain't wrong just as long as the chores are done proper first, that those parts of life that make it worth living ain't no sin, that loving a lady is proper and Hickory just has so much love to give! And May is special, right, sweet and soft, now she's sophisticated. That she wears her passion like a pearl necklace? That certainly Hickory would notice, naturally - that she's already spoken for, perhaps taken? That ever since Hickory came back, that all she can think about is swallowing - those strange feelings, because it wouldn't do, would it? For a Lady? But certainly she can worship him and still be seen with Weston Covanger? Because Weston needs May, that what happens in the Study is only half the battle, the Men's Business, and he's far too proud to settle for half of anything. That if he wants to move up the ranks of his family, to be more than a Covanger, to become the Covanger? He's going to need a woman in the Kitchen as well - he's going to need May. And if that seems a bit old fashioned? A bit too much like the Wild West? Well the West is starting to get wild again now that everyone starts to Drink. A different take on LitRPG where answers aren't given - they must be earned, discovered and fought for, one at a time. An orator style, a long read, filled with magic buildings, crafting, alchemy, but most of all - This is a story about the human spirit. About understanding what defines a person, their morals, their beliefs, and also faith when everything they understand becomes challenged - changed. So do they. People can change. They will. Just not always for the better, not always - sometimes. Sometimes that's enough. Sometimes that's even everything.
