"Hey man?" Shikadai said and hit my shoulder, "are you okay?"
"Yeah why?" I replied.
"You've been out of it for months. What's going on?" Inojin said for Shikadai, who just nodded his head.
How can you say "I like an assassin and I haven't seen her for months and can't stop thinking about her?"
I shrugged my shoulders, "nothing wrong, just family bs is all." I lied, well half lied.
"You can come and stay at my place if you want, my Father won't care plus my Mother is out of the village right now." Shikdai offered, but I shook my head.
"I can't leave my little sister there all alone, or my Mother."
"Your Mother isn't in this?" Inojin asked.
"Nope, just me and my Father. I don't want to drag anyone else into this." I replied.
They both nodded there heads, we were walking to school, when I person dressed in all black went passed us.
"D---as" is all that I heard when the person went by.
There's no way it's her. Even if it was I wouldn't go after her, she said I had her for the night. Does that mean she only comes out at night? What the hell Boruto!? You really are a dumbass.
I kept on walking, I'll check back here tonight.
Time skip brought to you by Author~Chan's new book coming out in two weeks
As soon as it got dark, I went back to that stop in town, but I didn't see her.
"Damn," I mumbled.
I started thinking about what we said before she left me standing there.
We were teasing each other about us liking each other, and I said something about the place will never be the same without her.

"That's it!" I shouted and ran to the waterfall.
Time skip brought to you by Author~Chan has open house later on today
When I got there, I saw her. In all black but I could see her face, she looked an angel in disguise when the moonlight hit her.
'Okay Boruto just be cool.'
"Hey assassin!" I called, and walked up to her.
She turned and looked at me, "you know, dumbass, I have a name. Or did you forget it?" She said, with a smile on her face.
"Really that's the first thing you say to me. I haven't seen you in forever!" I said and hugged her.
"It's better than you trying to be cool." She replied, hugging me back.
"I'm always cool, cooler than you." I said with a smirk on my face.
"You wanna bet?" She said, pulling away, "let's fight."
I looked at her like she was crazy, "no way! You'll kick my ass! You're an assasssin!"
She laughed, "yep! That's proves that I'm cooler than you!"
"No is doesn't!" I challenged.
"Oh yeah! Who was the one who jumped off the water fall? Who's the one that can teleport? Has swords? Or-"
"Yeah yeah yeah I get it your cooler!" I said, cutting her off.
She gave a huge smile, showing her teeth. "Yep! I'm cooler and your cuter."
"I'm not cute!" I said, "cute is for girl, now hot is for guys."
She bursted our laughing like crazy, "you sound like a fangirl or fanboy."
"Wh-what!?"
She put on a fake shocked face, "oh my! Dumbass is a fanboy for me!" She said and stared laughing.
I rolled my eyes, "am not!" I shouted, "but your kind of cute." I said under my breath so she couldn't hear me.

"You didn't care when I called you cute last time." She said when she stopped laughing.
"Whatever! I have you for the night so come on!" I said, taking her hand and started walking away.
"Oh yeah!" She said, "where to this time?"
"I thought I show you around town." I said.
"You do know that I live in town, right?"
I'm such an idiot. "Um y-yeah I know that but- um" I said, trying to come up with an excuse.
"Okay," she started, "I don't mean to ruin your 'plan' but how about we make a time capsule?"
"Really? But what would we say?" I asked, it wasn't a bad idea. To be honest I liked the idea.
"Everything that we don't want to forget up until this point." She said.
"Alright!" I said, and stared running, "we cam bury them at the hokage faces!" I said.
"Okay, I have stuff we can write it down on. Do you have a box that we can put it in?" She said.
I thought for a moment, then it hit me, "no, but my friend might! I'll ask him." I said, and we arrived at the hokage faces.
"Let's meet back here in a hour okay?" She said, and I nodded my head.
Time skip brought to you by that whole time capsule thing just popped into her head
Ten years later.....
The asssassin and dumbass got married when we turned eighteen. She already had met my friends before, and they all liked her. We said that we would open the time capsule in ten years, so here we are.
She undid the seal, and opened the box, our three year old son/daughter was right next to her.
"I'll read mine first," she said, "Dear future Assassin, a few months ago you met a banana haired dumbass. Which who you liked after almost killing him three times in one night. You have always had fun with him in the few hours you saw him. He's the love of your life and if you aren't married today then go out and fined him. Old self."
"Your turn daddy!" My son/daughter, (the name you come up with), said.
I nooded my head, and stared to read mine, "hey there dumbass! If your aren't married to the assassin that you fell in love with after one night go get her now! Old dumbass."
She started laughing, "wow! That's why you fished so quickly!"
I went over to here, and hugged her, "I love you."
She hugged me back, "love you too."
"Hey! I'm here too!" Our (kid name that you come up with) said, with a pout on his/her face.
We both laughed, and hugged him/her.

The Aesir took her peace, they took her parents, and then they took her wife. Three years after her wife’s murder, she’s found a new life light years away from Earth. A happy one, most days, with a best friend and captain who understands her, and a shared mission to undo some of the damage the Aesir have done to the Universe and offer relief to anyone who needs it. But the past has a way of rising again. A surprise rescue mission brings Brenn face to face with her wife; delirious, ill, and scarred from the bullets Brenn thought had killed her, but very much alive with a newborn at her breast. A newborn whose very existence could mean intergalactic war. Now Brenn must balance her wife’s delicate mental health, new motherhood, and her own complicated feelings while working with her Captain and their odd bunch of friends and allies to protect her tiny family from a small, but influential group within the Aesir government who will stop at nothing to take back Brenn’s wife and child. All the while, there are whispers of a greater and more ancient power coming to life. A power Brenn’s wife knows more about than she wants to let on. It’s a good thing Brenn is used to fighting. CW: Contains mildly graphic scenes of violence/death, topics of unwanted pregnancy/abortion, scientific experimentation on sapient beings, depression/suicide, grief, and trauma. The tone of this fiction is often dark and distinctly dystopian in lighter shades of Margaret Atwood, though where there is darkness there is always hope and light. On Hiatus Until September When the School Year Begins and Mom This story takes a considerable amount of time and mental energy to complete. I thought I had enough backlog and time to post it as a serial while COVID kept my child home from school, but it turns out while I can quickly write other pieces, I cannot produce the quality I need with this one at an acceptable rate. We'll resume in September when my days are much freer. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned for a different storytelling romp more suited for a serial platform in the meantime.

Threads
A legendary landmass long since believed lost to the world reappears in the seas of the island nation of Annitou, setting off a frantic race by the surrounding governments to acquire its allegedly powerful secrets. From every corner of the map comes settlers, merchants, pirates, and the strongest enforcers of each country's sovereignty: the Agents, individuals with unique, sometimes seemingly divine talents which can rival the power of even an army. However on the lawless frontier of the newly rediscovered island of Jinchi, national loyalties and personal ambition are put to the real test. Threads follows the interconnected stories of individuals from all strata of this world, from the lowly in-training cadets, to the mighty and seemingly invincible generals, to the otherwise innocuous and 'powerless' civilians. Each person holds a piece of the puzzle- but nobody can say how it will ultimately be put together.
