Being childhood friends with guys is hard. Still being friends with them is confusing, but being best friends with them is weird. Especially when he's a reaper. It's even worse when everyone we like each other, or when Black Star and Soul try, let me say that again, try to get us to go out. That damn reaper, Kid, has been my best friend since we were two years old. I've liked him since I was ten, but he probably just sees me as his sibling.

One time when we were eight I had a of coffee, which makes me to crazy and stupid stuff, and it was snowing. The place where me and Kid grew up had this one huge hill that was covered in snow. I've always wanted to jump down it, but my family was broke and I didn't want to break my leg so I never did. Until that day, the day that I, (full name) was going make my childhood dream come true, with the help of Kid of course.

It was snowing for about two days straight, so we had a cray ton of snow, it should make jumping off the hill easier. Or at least keep us from breaking our leg or arm. My parents would never let me do this, lord death didn't let Kid ether. That never stopped us from anything before.

"Ready?" Kid asked, looking at me.

It was nine o'clock at night. The perfect time to jump. We were at the top off the hill, staring at the bottom.

"Of course! I've been waiting for this since we found this place!" I replied, shouting as loud as Black Star.

The place where we found the hill was a few minutes away from Death City, where I live. The moon was out, so we can see just fine, but there were clouds that looked it would start snowing any time now.

"Oh no!" Kid said, I already knew what he was gonna say, "what if my pictures aren't all at the same angle!" I face palmed, "Kid we don't have time!" I grabbed his hand, "on three, ready?"

"But (y/n)-"

"One!"

"I can't go on if-"

"Two!"

"Just listen-"

"Three!"

Just like that I jumped, pulling Kid with me. As we were falling, I looked over at Kid, his face was full of excitement. I looked straight ahead, feeling free. You know that feeling when you fall right before you hit the ground, like that one second of your head being completely blank, that was the feeling.

"Whooooo!" I shouted, Kid just screamed.

We were half way down the hill, landed, and stared rolling. At this point I wasn't holding Kid's hand. I was laughing the whole way down, Kid was still screaming.

When we reached the bottom, I ran to where Kid was and hugged him.

"That was awesome! We should do this every year!" I exclaimed, and he hugged me back, "yeah that just a little fun, but not much." Kid replied.

We were standing there for awhile until Kid let go, "come on we have to get back." I nodded and we stared walking back.

I started walking to the dwma, and saw Maka there for me waiting there. "Good morning!" Maka said, "Morning." I said tiredly.

"Didn't sleep much hun?" Maka asked.

"Of course not! Kid was banging on my door saying that my pictures were not straight and that he was gonna die if he didn't fix them." I replied.

Maka laughed, "wow you guys do everything together don't you?"

"No we don't-"

"It's almost like you guys are dating, just go out already." Soul said, coming up behind Maka.

I slapped him, "he doesn't like me! And I don't like him!" I shouted in his face, "why don't you and Maka go out!"

Maka's face went red, and Soul draped his arm around her shoulder, "we are, we became official last night." Soul said quietly, "I just don't want my dad to fined out." Maka said.

"You'll be fine, just don't act all lovey dovy." I said, "you guys have fun." I wiggled my eyebrows, and ran inside.

Like I said in the beginning, a lot of people was trying to get us together, including Black Star. He's been trying to get us together since he founded out we were childhood friends. Today he took it to far.

When school was over Kid and I was walking home. Where I lived was a few blocks from where Tsubaki and Black Star live, and even more blocks from where Kid lived. Black Star came up behind us, and pushed us into each other and shouted 'get some' and ran to his house.

I ran after him "you're gonna die Black Star!" I yelled, and Kid just stood there, like the idiot he is.
