It was the anniversary of my whole family, who was murdered by assassins. When this was happening I was in the woods, hanging out with my best friend Black Star. We were playing hid and go seek, when Black Star saw my family dead.

He was hiding and I was seeking, he ran back to me, grabbed my hand, and took off running. "Come on, you're going to live with me now!" Black Star said. He wasn't affected by this, mostly because my family was assassins too, his family died too that day.

I looked at him with a puzzled look on my face, "why? Did something happen?" I asked. Black Star stopped running, and looked me in the eye, "I'll tell you," he took my other hand, "ten years from today. I swear!" I nodded, and we took off running again. We went all the way to the dwma. From there we were doing mission, skipping classes, and of course pissing off teachers together. When we turned twelve, six years after our family's killed each other, we stared dating.

We still both laugh that it took seven minutes in heaven to make us finally go out.

Here we are, four years later, the day that our family's died. Black Star was taking me somewhere.

"Can you just tell me where we are going? I still have to visit my family's grave today!" I said, for the tenth time. Black Star grabbed my hand, "don't worry we will be there in about six minutes." He looked scared, like he has hiding something.

"Babe are you okay?" I asked, he didn't look at me. He kept looking forward, like he always does, especially when he is hiding something.

"Yeah, I'm fine," he replied, mumbling something after that, I couldn't hear what he was saying, but I didn't say anything.

We were back in the woods, that's when I finally picked up as too where we were going. "Are we-" I stared, but Black Star cut me off. "Promise me after this," he stooped him. "What do you mea-" he cut me off again, "just listen to me!" Black Star shouted at me, "promise me that we will still be together after this!" Black Star said, looking me, like I was dead.

"Of course! Why won't I?" I asked. He didn't say anything back, he just started walking again, and let go of my hand. "Black Star!" He didn't even look at me. "What the hell-" we were out of the woods. I saw a skeleton, as I looked around, the were every where. My eyes widened, I was scared.

I looked over at (y/n), she looked terrified. I went up to hug her, but she just walked threw her old village, tears in her eyes. I followed her, up until she got to where she use to live, that's when tears stared to fall. She opened the door, and fell to her knees, "Mather, Father, big.... big brother......" she said in a small voice. I went to hug her, that's when she stood up, and went off on me.

"What the hell!" (Y/n) screamed, turned, and looked at me, "is this what you were hiding from me!" She yelled, and pointed to the skeletons, "why didn't you tell me!"

"I promised you ten years ago that I would tell you. We were six! I didn't want you to see this like I did." I said, saying the last part softly.

"Damn it!" She yelled, and kicked the side if her house, "what the fuck happened Black Star!" She yelled, looking at me with a killer look in her eyes.

"We were six! Dumbass! My clan and you're family were fighting! Duh! Why else is everyone dead!" I shouted back, "this is hard for me too you know! Do you think I want my clan to be dead!"

"Of course not! But why wait this long!" She asked, "and then freak me out before we even get here!"

"Because I love you! I don't want to lose you over something like this!" I shouted, then realized what I just said. We have been dating for years, but neither one of us has said that before.

She just stood there, not knowing what to say, tears were still falling. I went up to her, and hugged her. "I never want to lose you." I said softly. She hugged my back, "I'm sorry I went off on you, I didn't mean too," she paused for a moment, "I guess it was too big of a shock."

"It's ok, I'm sorry that I said that, it wasn't a good time." I replied, holding her even tighter. "I love too." She said, and we walked back to the dwma.
