Narrator's POV
"Wade I cannot believe you let him go just like that." Peter came through the door, putting away his mask in his backpack. Wade came in behind him, taking his mask off.
"Petey, I couldn't let the police put him away. I owned him a solid." Wade said.
Stephen and Tony came into the living.
"What's going on?" Tony asked, rubbing his eyes. The lights flickered on.
It was 11:30 at night.
"Wade let Rhino go." Peter said.
"You let one of the most wanted villains get away?" Tony asked.
"No, he didn't let him get away. He actually let him go. Put his weapons down and let him walk away." Peter said.
"What?" Stephen looked at Wade.
"Look, you people get way too caught up in this "we're the good guys and put the bad guys away"." Wade said. "I simply work on both sides. If someone needs my help, and there's cash involved, then I'll gladly lend you a hand; literally." Wade sliced his hand off and caught it in his other hand.
"Wade, that's our job. We keep the people of the world safe. We can't risk letting anyone get away." Peter said.
"Yeah. We don't get beat up and torn up just for show." Tony said.
"Wade, we have to put the bad guys away. That's our job. The universe needs to stay in balance." Stephen explained.
"Well with Rhino and Juggernaut, it won't be balanced for very long." Wade gave a small laugh.
"What?!" Peter turned to Wade. "I thought you said you put him away."
"Well... I owed him one." Wade said.
"Tell me you still have the bag." Peter said. Wade stayed quiet. "Please tell me you still have the power stone."

"Wait, what?" Stephen looked at Peter. "There's another Infinity Stone on earth?"
"Was." Wade said.
"Oh my..." Peter turned around and put his hand on his head, pulling his hair.
"Look Petey, I owe a lot..." Wade laughed a little. "...a lot...of people things."
"Can I say a bad word?" Peter asked. Tony looked at him in confusion. "CAN I SAY A BAD WORD?" He asked angrily, facing Wade now.
"Yes. Sure." Tony said.
"YOU MOTHER FUCKING BITCH!" Peter punched Wade in the face, knocking him down.
"Ow." Wade groaned in pain on the ground.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Peter." Tony and Stephen hurried to hold Peter back. "Peter. Calm down. Control yourself."
"I cannot believe you!" Peter shouted. "After all I've done for you, you're gonna repay me like that?" Peter pulled away from his dads. They watched him carefully. "Because of you, a lot of people are in danger now!" Peter kicked Wade. He kept going, kicking him over and over again. "Do you...think this is some sort of game?" He kicked him again.
Tony and Stephen pulled Peter away from Wade.
"Peter. Easy. Easy." Stephen said, placing a hand on Peter's nape, calming him some what.
Peter's breathing was fast and short. His face was red, full of anger.
"Wade." Tony tried helping him up.
"No, no. It's fine." Wade said, sitting up. "It's fine. He has every right to." Wade held a hand to his stomach. He looked at Stephen. "Yes. There was a stone on earth, and I gave it to Juggernaut. He was on his way to deliver it to Thanos."
"Yes. And now a lot people are going to die." Peter said.

"No, no." Tony said, taking out a tablet. "It says here Juggernaut was caught. But there's nothing about this stone you guys talk about." Tony said. "What is this stone thing you talk about Stephen?"
"I need to go." Stephen walked over to the library. His robe suddenly appeared. Levi quickly came down and landed on his shoulders. He whistled, and books flew in his hands.
"Wait Stephen, where are you going?" Tony asked.
"I don't have time to explain." Stephen said, opening a portal. "Take care of the kids Tony."
"Doctor Dad wait-"
"Peter stay here and look over your brother." Stephen said.
"But Stephen-"
Stephen was gone.
The three just stood there. Tony was left confused and heartbroken. His husband had just left him again.
Peter looked at Wade, who was looking at him. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth.
"Petey-"
"Get out." Peter pointed at the door.
Tony placed a hand on Peter's shoulder. "Peter. That's not-"
"No dad." Peter pulled away from Tony. "He needs to go." He looked back at Wade. "Go. Get out of here. Leave before I get even more angry." Peter said.
Wade got up slowly, staring at Peter. He limped to the door with his hand to his stomach still and looked back at Peter.
"Go." Peter said.
Wade closed the door slowly. He was gone.
Peter let out a breath he'd been holding in. Tears slid down his face. Tony placed a hand on his shoulder. Peter turned around and hugged him. He began to cry.
"It's okay. It's okay." Tony said softly, holding his boy in his arms. "It's okay."
"Papa." A little voice came into the room.
Tony turned his head to see Oliver standing by the staircase.
"Is Peter okay?" He asked.
"He's just having a hard time." Tony said. "Go back to bed Oliver. It's okay."
"Oh, okay." Oliver said, turning around and walking back to his room. He was very confused.
"Mr. Stark, what do I do now?" Peter asked. "People will die because of me."
"It's not your fault kid." Tony said.

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

The False Paladin
Divine Paladins, a title given to those who were blessed with the Lord's Favor, are the pillars of the kingdom of Calorin. However, a kingdom cannot simply be built from ideals of honor and duty. Sir Roel, the 58th Divine Paladin, knows that he's no hero. His sword is fake, his actual powers are middling, and his thoughts grow more cynical with every passing day. Upon receiving his next task, an order to assassinate a member of royalty, he wonders if the only thing he can do is bow his head and obey. Set in a medieval-era world in which brute strength is often subordinate to the schemes and machinations of the ruling class, this is a low fantasy story about a hero who struggles not only against monsters but also the idea that he's supposed to be the one fighting them. This fiction updates once to twice a week and each chapter is a minimum of 1000 words.

The Oath of Oblivion
Rane could draw power from the dead and make it his own. For some, such an arcane birthright would be a boon and a blessing. To Rane, it meant being forced on a path of bloodshed and death based on the whims of his slavers. To commit acts that went against every human instinct he retained. Years of torture and captivity have left his body weak and his mind in shambles, yet he still retains a few, fragmented memories. They hint at a life beyond what his prison and what his cruel masters have allowed him. At a family he's lost, and a promise he's already broken. To escape, Rane will have to face fierce beasts, unhinged mages and the true essence of what it means to be human. And as the peace between ancient kingdoms grows uneasy and the world plunges headfirst into madness, the cost of freedom might prove high. In the chaos of conflict and men’s ravenous ambitions, the true name of the world has been long forgotten. Nations wage bloody campaigns with remnants of ancestral magic while nature itself crumbles around them. Only one pillar of stability stands unshaken for millennia, anchoring the realm to balance. One single truth that no mage has yet to break. Oaths, once sworn, cannot be broken. Under the Arbiter's watchful eye, civilizations rise and crumble. People live and die. The words of the strong become law, and law shapes reality. And that is just the reality Rane has to change. Dark High Fantasy story with multiple alternating POVs. The first book is complete and chapters are released daily. Disclaimer: This is a zero to hero story. Don't come in expecting the main character to be powerful right away.
