《13 Reasons Why》Zach

"Come on y/n, we're gonna be late" your boyfriend Zach whined outside of your bedroom door. You laughed to yourself whilst you finished brushing your hair.
"I'm coming be patient, I just need to pick something to wear" you yelled through your door so that he could hear you. Zach had an important basketball game and wanted to drive you there, he says he needs his 'good luck charm' with him before the game.
"You're not even dressed yet?! That's it, I'm coming in." He replied before opening the door and staring at you.
"I don't even know why you take so long to get ready when you're naturally beautiful." He murmured before taking a seat on your bed. You felt your face heating up before picking out a pair of shorts and a tank top. "How's this?" You asked him sweetly. He eyed the outfit before replying.
"Absolutely not" he said stubbornly.
You sighed "why not?" You whined.
"Do you think the boys won't notice you in those shorts? You're mine and only mine." He frowned. You acted as if you hated it when Zach was protective but you secretly loved it. You pouted before walking over to him and giving him a quick kiss. "You know it" you said between his lips; You could feel him smile into the kiss after hearing you say that.
"Well, as long as you know it" he sighed. You threw your arms up in victory before running to the bathroom to get changed.
•later•
Zach had his arm around your waist whilst walking into the crowded gym. You could feel him shaking, he was obviously nervous which was no surprise, this was his biggest game yet. "Don't be nervous babe, you'll be amazing like you always are" you say before turning you head and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. He smiled before taking off his letterman jacket and putting it over your shoulders.

"Can't have my number one fan getting cold now, can I?" He smiled before pulling you into a hug. "Wish me luck" he whispered in your ear.
"I'll support you all the way, and also, if you really play your best tonight you might just get a surprise later" you smirked into his ear. You could tell he was holding his breath before nodding his head excitedly.
"Oh trust me, I definitely will" he winked before walking with you hand in hand to the gym.
•during the game•
You watched as Zach dodged passed the components before finally scoring, no surprise there, he hadn't missed a shot since the game started, the score was close though with the Lions leading 23-19.
"YES ZACH! THATS MY BABY" you shouted, drawing the attention from the crowd and suddenly blushing. You watched as Zach met eyes with you and mouthed 'I love you.'
'I love you more' you mouthed back, he then gave you a quick wink before going back to his game. 'More than you could imagine' you thought to yourself. Throughout the rest of the game you would shout cute things to Zach and you would even shout things to the crowd like 'That's my boyfriend!' Where they would then roll their eyes and continue watching the game, hoping not to get distracted by the overly excited girl in the crowd, also known as you.
There was only 43 seconds left of the match and the Lions were still in the lead. They had obviously won this game but the team were determined to score again, more points don't hurt right?
"Come on Zach you can do this babe!" You screamed. The crowd joined in as they started chanting his name. You loved how passionate Zach was about basketball (and marine biology of course) he was near enough always smiling whilst playing, the fact that he was hands down the best in the team obviously has its advantages.

You watched your boyfriend sprint down the side of the court before pointing at you and shouting 'this is for you' he smiled before shooting inside the three point line and leading his team to victory. You cheered louder than you ever have, before jumping up and down and clapping your hands like a seal. The buzzer went off and Zach slammed the ball on the floor whilst his team raised him in the air and the crowd chanted his name. You kept your eyes on him the whole time whilst smiling brighter than ever. He made you so proud and he was all yours.
You ran down the bleachers before cartwheeling a few times and jumping into Zachs arms. He span you around whilst everyone awed. You held his face between your hands and brought your lips closer to his. You were so close that you could feel his breath on your lips. "I'm so proud of you, I knew you could do it babe" you beamed. That's all you had to say before Zach kissed you deeply. Still spinning you around. You wrapped your legs around his waist as he nuzzled his head into your neck.
"I'm so lucky to have you, my personal cheerleader" he whispered into your neck. You laughed to yourself before replying "I was good, wasn't I" you could feel him laughing.
"The best" he laughed.
"Hey Zach" you began. He hummed, signalling that he was listen. "I believe I promised you something before the match?" You asked innocently before biting you lip. His head immediately shot up and he smirked. "Let's go!" he said before putting you down and grabbing your hand. You could tell he was excited by the way he was practically running to the car. 'How did I end up with someone as perfect as Zach?' You laughed to yourself.

This Used to be About Dungeons
This Used to be About Dungeons is a comfy slice-of-life adventuring story that occasionally features dungeons. Updates Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Mostly it's about walking in the woods with a friend, looking for mushrooms to put in your soup, or haggling with the guy selling squash, or taking care of a neglected garden. It's putting some jam on shortbread biscuits. And yes, sometimes you go down into the dungeons with your friends, and you kill monsters there, or disarm traps, but when you come out, you realize you've found the perfect magic item to give to one of the local kids that helped you out when your cat was sick. Look, the dungeons are always going to be there, and sometimes you need to make a journey to one of the Spirit Gates, or make a pilgrimage with the local Cleric of Symmetry to a holy shrine. Your tour through the local dungeons can wait. You'll have rivalries with other groups, and find some dungeon eggs that need to be carefully incubated in case they turn out to be something valuable, and help a friend to build a fishing weir. There's a big world out there, a mostly tame place with lots of magic, and even more to do and see. Join me, won't you?The cover image is Morning Sunlight Effect, Eragny, by Camille Pissarro.
