~Jeff's POV~
"You can just drop me off here" I told Montgomery as he pulled up in Bryce's driveway "I'll walk home afterwards" I added
"Bro, you know I can't do that" He shook his head as he put the car in park
"And why not?" I asked him as I took my seatbelt off
"Because I know that Alt is upset over something that involves Justin and I know that when Alt gets upset, you get upset. I also know for a fact that you get especially angry when she's upset over someone and since that someone is Justin, I will not let you beat the crap out of him" He answered me
"Whatever, I'll do what I have to do" I shrugged as I opened the car door to step out
Not waiting for Montgomery to join me, I went straight to Bryce's gate that led to the backyard where the guest house was.
I heard Monty mumble something from behind me but I ignored him as I opened the gate. I could see shadows coming from inside the guest house and that's exactly where I walked to
I opened the door and was immediately greeted by the smell of weed
My eyes landed on Justin, who was sitting on the couch leaning forward as he was rolling a joint on the table in front of him. Pizza boxes and takeout containers surrounded him.
"Yo Bryce, you wanna share th-" He started but stopped himself when he looked up and saw me instead of Bryce
"Jeff, what're you doing here?" He asked me as he brought his attention back on the joint
"I need to talk to you" I told him
"Look if this is about school, I'll be there next week" He said
"I need to talk to you" I repeated "You can bring the goddamn weed with you if you're so bothered by it" I added after watching him not make an effort to get up

"Jeez, alright" Justin groaned as he finished rolling up his joint and got up "Where to, Captain Jeffery?" He asked me
I gave him a stern look
"Let's go to the park" I told him
He nodded and started walking towards the door, not even noticing Montgomery in the doorway
In silence, we made our way to the park that was a couple minutes away from Bryce's house. Once there, we sat down on a bench and Justin took out a lighter to light his joint.
"So what's so important that you had to come see me right this second?" He broke the silence "Because if this is about school, I'll be there on Monday" He added
"Nah, this is about Althia" I snapped at him
His eyes widened and he mumbled an 'oh shit' before taking a drag of his joint
"Man, you're gonna need this before we have this talk" He handed the weed to me
I took it from his hands and brought it to my lips
"So you, uh, know what happened between us then?" Justin asked me as I inhaled the smoke "I mean, she told you... about Sunday?" He tried again when I stayed silent
"No no, she didn't tell me" I answered him "I found her crying to Jessica and Jess was the one who told me" I added
"Oh" Was his only response
"You don't deserve her, you know that?" I looked at him as I took another drag before handing the joint back to him
"I know" He agreed
"I mean you really don't fucking deserve her" I said "You don't even deserve to know her, let alone be friends with her or get to love her" I continued "How fucked up can you be to take a girl who would do anything for you and break her the way you did" I went on "I mean seriously, if this is the way that you're going to treat her, you should have kept your damn feelings to yourself and let her be with Zach. At least then she was happy and she wasn't crying over someone who doesn't deserve her and left her alone after taking her damn virginity" I added "And even after you treat her the way you treat her, she still texts you and asks if you're okay. She still wonders if any of us has heard from you. She still asks if one of us could drive her to your house so she can check up on you. I mean really man, fuck you for putting her through all of this shit. She deserves better." I finished

"Wait, I took her, um-" He hesitated
"Her virginity? Yeah dumbass you did" I told him
"And then I left her-" He went to start but I interrupted him
"Fucking left her alone and didn't talk to her for a whole week ,yep you did" I said
"Fuck, I truly fucked up" He sighed "There's no way she's ever talking to me again" He added
"That's where you're wrong, you and I both know she'll still talk to you but you don't deserve it" I shook my head
"You're right" Justin agreed with me "I'm a piece of shit for doing this to her" He added
"You've got that right" I snickered as I reached for the joint
Justin handed it to me and I took another drag. We stayed silent until he spoke up again.
"Should I go over and talk to her now?" Justin asked me
I shook my head
"Wait until tomorrow, one more day of not hearing from you won't hurt her even more than you already did" I answered him
"You know, you're being very grown up and shit by having this conversation and not beating the living shit out of me" Justin said as he chuckled at the thought
"Oh, trust me, I totally would have punched you at least once by now but I don't want Thia to be upset with me for doing so and also Montgomery would stop me before I even got the chance because he followed us here" I told him
"Monty's here?" Justin questioned as he exhaled the smoke
"Yes I am" Monty answered coming out of the shadows "You're lucky, I'm saving you from getting your ass beat instead of helping Jeff beat it" He added
"I know, I know" Justin lowered his head "I'll make this right, I swear" He promised
Montgomery and I exchanged looks, uncertain if Justin will actually live up to his promise
We stayed at the park for a little while longer as Justin finished his joint before we walked back to Bryce's where Justin decided to go back home. After Monty dropped Justin off, he brought me home. I checked in on Jessica and Althia before eventually falling asleep.

The Last Watcher
The Abyss Watchers. Once fully dedicated to hunting the Abyss, now cursed to fight their own members forever. One day though, while they are attacked by a mysterious warrior, a single Abyss Watcher is suddenly pulled through a tear in reality, transported to a new world. A world with a strange thing called a leveling system. Current update schedule: Tuesday 10:00 PM NZT Idea I had of an Abyss Watcher from Dark Souls 3 being transported into a LitRPG world. You don't have to know any of the lore from Dark Souls to understand this, however if you want to know more about the lore just google it or something, I can't stop you But it's not like it will be very useful in this story as I plan to not be focused on Dark Souls Lore. As a side note for those reading this while it is ongoing, I will occasionally go back to previous chapters and sometimes add certain elements to the skills and leveling. Not to worry though as I will tell you as to what I have edited in the authors notes, so be sure to pay attention to those when they appear as they may contain information required for continued understanding. Also, if you decide to drop this book then please leave a comment on the chapter you stopped on and tell me what made you stop.
