when you see clay enter the classroom, you quickly look down at your books to avoid making eye contact with him.

"mr jensen? why are you late?" the teacher asks, writing something on the board. clay scoffs rolls his eyes in response.

"well? aren't you going to tell me why? or should you tell me in detention?"

everyone in the class bursts into a round of applause and clay storms out, with alex running after him. when alex catches up to clay in front of his locker, alex stands and waits for clay to say something.

after a long 5 minute silence, clay finally breaks the silence and speaks up. me and (y/n) broke up last night. and i miss her... really fucking bad.
