I took a long hit of the blunt, I was chillin at the crib with this lil shawty Jamila. We had met one night at one of Tray's parties, I been hitting her up since then. She bad asf, and the pussy was bomb asf!
She been keeping my head afloat lately. We met back up when I went down to Orlando, me and the dawgs just got back not too long ago. Shawty came along with me, been staying with me for a while, while moms off on work.
"Nike stop" she talked, as she giggled. I grabbed her by her thighs pulling her in, inserting myself in between them. I gazed down at her sexy body as it laid there.
"Not right now" she spoke, jokingly shoving me a little.
I chuckled, sucking my teeth. I gazed down at her as she stared up at me. "What?" I mumbled, I placed two pecks on her lips as I spoke.
She was hesitant to speak at first.
She continued gazing up at me before opening her mouth.
"I really like you Nike" she finally spoke up.
What did she just say? I lifted myself from between her nice thick thighs, sitting back up onto the bed.
"What?" I asked confused.
She took a deep breath, turning her head away from me.
"I'm really starting to like you Nike" she mumbled. See look, Me and Jamila been talking for a few months now, yeah I'm feeling her a little but I'm not tryna be in nun serious. And I been told her this from jump.
She's not a bad person, Jamila has a great personality. Her shape she had on her was beautiful, small waist pretty face, with a nice juicy ass. Just how I liked. But she just wasn't...nvm
"Aye, look Anaya" I began saying, I caught myself before saying another word.
"What?" She asked, looking at me raising a brow. He voice made a high pitch screech when he talked.
"Nothing" I responded quick, hoping she would let it go.
She sat up, staring down at me.
"Nike, this is the second time you've called me her name. You miss your ex don't you?" She asked, waiting for a response. "She's not my ex" I mumbled trying not to make eye contact.
"Damn near" she snapped back. She looked fed up, but shit, we ain't in no relationship and she knew that.
We sat in silence for a while. It was awkward.
Jamila chuckled. She got up, throwing on her black, ripped jean shorts. Cover in her hot pink laced panties. Her ass sat nice in it from the back.
"Where you going?" I asked her, I know lil momma ain't really trippin over a name. Ight I slipped up, but I been through some shit with this girl, no matter what I was always there for her and Messiah. That's a bond I thought could never be broken.
"Home" she replied. She grabbed her bright orange jacket, throwing it on. Then her shoes.
"And who taking you?" I asked, I really didn't want her to go. But she didn't want to stay. Im not finna force nobody to stay if they got places to be.
"I'll call an Uber" she grabbed her phone off the dresser, then grabbing her Victoria's Secret bag. Leaving the room. She's walked fast as she left the house, slamming the front door behind her. Ion know if she thought I was gon chase after her, but that wasn't gon happen.
Man, this life I was chosen to live was just getting more hectic throughout the days. I just wanna lay high up there with you Darius, I wouldn't have to feel any pain from this word anymore. You were a best friend to me, the father figure I never had, my brother. Moms would've been so proud to see you walk across that stage this year, you would've been big 18 today. Why'd you have to leave so soon?..

I walked into the back room that we were guided into. Anaya walked in front of me following the nurses as well.
The light flickered on as soon as we entered the room. We had came to a Lab to get this stupid DNA testing done. I had Nattily on the other end of the room FaceTime call. She didn't want to take Brielle out like that with how little she still was. Natty also was still healing from her C-section, So she had to stay back home. But best believe she wanted to know everything that was going down.
The nurses wasted no time, instantly getting to work, drawing me and the babies blood.
I decided to do a blood drawn test, so we could get the results faster.
The nurses left the room for a while, but soon returned. It was awkwardly quiet while they were gone, Anaya didn't even wanna make eye contact with me. Shit she haven't spoken to me since I've arrived.
When the nurses came back in they went over everything with us, they explained that the results could take up to one to two days for most accuracy. I was Ight with that.
I nodded my head understanding. We got everything situated, then made our way out the door.
"Aye nattily imma hit you up later, I'm bout to be headed to the crib now" I spoke into the phone.
"Ight" she replied. She gave me a funny look as I I went it hand up, I held the door for Anaya as she carried out the car seat.
Anaya stepped in front of me, swaying the car seat as she walked. She looked like she was struggling to carry it down the hall. "You got it?" I asked as we made our way down the long hallway.
"Yea" she replied. I knew she was lying right through her teeth. Shit I'm not finna force her to take help that she don't want.
We finally made it down the hall, and into the elevator. I pressed the first floor, and down we went. We sat there in silence, as I expected we would.
Anaya stood on the other side, she looked like she struggled holding up the car seat, shit ion blame her them shits be heavy. Aye but I offered to help ion know why she ain't take it.
"I got it" I spoke reaching my hand out. She gave me a look of confusion. "What? She asked. I breathed in heavy before repeating myself. "I got it" I gripped onto the handle of the the car seat, slowly pulling it close. She let go, releasing her strength. Her son laid back comfy in his seat.
It was broken down between me a Marvin now and I know for damn sure I ain't the daddy.
I just wanted these uncomfortable pounds of weight off my back. Life ain't been the same since all this shit broke out.
Once we got to the bottom floor, the metal doors separated letting us out. I helped Anaya out the building, carrying the car seat. Once we got outside, I placed the seat on a black bench, cemented into the ground. Returning her belonging.
Anaya stood next to me. She gripped the handle of the seat as I let it go.
"You straight?" I asked, making sure everything was good before leaving
"Yeah, we good" she talked. I nodded my head, walking off to my Audi A6..
{Anaya}
Ray walked away, heading over to his car. I pulled out my phone from my jacket pocket, I wore a cute, extra fit.

Beige jumpsuit with a oversized denim jacket. I wore jewelry over it to complete the fit, with a LV Fanny pack.
I pulled up my contacts calling
'Mom💖'.
The call was answered after a few rings. "Hello" my mom greeted, answering.
"Ma, where you at? We just got out the building" I responded.
"Oh sweetie, I meant to let you know. Work called and i had to run in really quick on an emergency, get in contact with Ashley then call me back and let me know what the plan is" she spoke, on some bullshit again. I took a deep breath rolling my eyes, I should've known she was pull some mess like this, I can't ever rely on this woman for nothing. And that's just a Damn shame.
Moms had gotten a new job, she's been working as a nurse for a few weeks now. She had been going to school for it for a while now, I'm glad she got to get her dream job or whatever though..
"Ok momma" I said back, hanging up the phone. I really wish my daddy was here, he wouldn't have let me stand out here alone, especially with his grand baby. There's so much shit I've been going through, I just needed my daddy right now.
I went back into my contacts, FaceTiming Ashley. No answer. The phone rung for a long time before I just hung up myself. Fuck, what am I gonna do? And I'm not about to get on the community bus with a newborn, definitely not!
Without thinking, I hit Nikes contact.
The phone rung for a while before going to voicemail.
Me and Nike haven't spoken in two days, he hasn't even called to check up on Messiah or nothing, And he loved that kid. Nike always answered the phone for me, even when he was busy. That's how I know damn well he seen me calling.
Once more, I pressed the call button. Straight to voicemail.
Really Nike!
'Ding' a text came through.
"I'm busy" it read.
He's really mad at me, why? I didn't do anything towards him, he rapped me now he's mad that Messiahs not his? Messiahs mine! And imma stand on that.
I took a deep breath in, calming myself. How the hell am I gonna get home? My mind went crazy.
"Aye, you need a ride?" I heard a familiar voice shout out. Snapping back into reality, Ray sat in front of me in his car. He had the window rolled down and his head poked out. I didn't even notice he had pulled up, I didn't even realize he was sitting there.
"No, I'm straight" my pride was too big to fall for his mess. He's a horrible person, ion even want my son around that man.
"Come on man, I'm not finna let you stand out here alone with a newborn baby. It's hot as fuck out here, stop playing" why does he care? What does he want, an award for helping a 13 year old girl that he already put in harms way. He hurts me everyday, every night. I can't sleep because of what they did, why me? Outta every female in that party, you decide to take my life, and I'm not even physically dead. Just mentally.
"Ray I'm fine" I spoke, tryna make him go away.
"Girl get yo ass in this car, before I gotta drag you inside" he demanded.
I lifted my eyebrows in shock. I opened my mouth to get another word out. "Get in" Ray said, cutting me off before I could even speak.
I rolled my eyes, who is this nigga talkin too?
Picking up Messiah's car seat, I made my way around opening the back seat door. I placed Messiah in first, strapped him down, before hopping in myself.
"Aye I gotta stop by work real quick to pick up sum, if that's fine with you?" Ray spoke, starting the car up and taking off.
"That's straight" I replied, buckling up.
It didn't take long to get his destination, like a 15 minute drive.
We pulled up to a barf green colored house, the paint was chipping off the walls outside, the windows were boarded off with light colored wood covering them. It was a pretty big house. Multiple cars filled the streets. I could tell they were owned by the folks walking in and out the house.
Ray pulled up, parking on the side of the road a few homes down.
"I'll be back, don't get out" he said.
He hopped out the car, making his way over to the house. I know damn well this nigga ain't got us sitting outside no damn trap house.
'Buzz' my phone rung notifying me of a FaceTime call.
"Hello" I said answering
"Girl what you calling my phone for?" Ashley asked, joking.
"Because I can" I snapped back. I gave her a face, sticking out my tongue.
"Child whatever, where my baby at?" she asked taking a bite, out of her plate.
I moved the camera, placing it on Messiah. He was in his car seat, snuggling up with his favorite teddy Nike had bought him a while ago.
"Look at my fat man" Ashley spoke, talking like a baby.
"You need to come get yo fat ma" I joked, putting the camera back on me.
Ashley laughed. Her laughter soon came to an end as looked closely into the phone, concentrated.
"Um ma'am, Who car you in? That's Ray's? Y'all made up?" Ashley spoke up, asking way too many damn questions.
"Mind the business that pays you sis" I snapped rolling my eyes.
I looked up getting my concentration snatched.
Nike stepped out his gray Nissan Altima, he parked his car next to us, across the road. I didn't want to stare but I couldn't look away.
Nike made his way up to the car, walking past it. Our eyes locked as he walked past my window. He paused for a minute, looking back to reassure it was me. Indeed it was.
Without saying a word, or making a gesture. He turned around keeping it moving, going straight into the house.
"Anaya" I could hear Ashley calling out for me, her voice sounded like muffles. "Anaya" she called out one last time.
"Huh?" I answered, looking back down at the phone. "You straight?" She asked.
It took me a minute to answer... I really didn't know.
"Whole up Ash, imma call you back" I said, before ending the call.
The driver side door swung open, scaring the shit outta me.
"Yo, you good?" Ray asked hopping in the front seat. He must've seen me jump when he came through the door.
"Yeah, I'm alright" I replied, my voice was dull as I talked. Ray started the car, and on we went.
"Where am I taking you?" He said sounding like a Uber driver.
"Ashley's house" I responded. I was just gon chill over there for a while, I ain't wanna be home by myself. Moms was off at work, and Mesha was outta town for the week with her stank booty ass boyfriend. She always leaving me for that nigga, but it's Ight or whatever.
The car ride was silent, as I wanted it to be. Besides Ray tryna make little small talk here and there. I don't know if he thought he was some kinda hero to me just cause he took this stupid ass DNA test, but i ain't ask him to do shit. Him and his manly looking ass girlfriend was the one who hit me up bout this shit. I ain't never asked him for shit, and I will never!
It didn't take long for us to arrive over at Ashley's crib. I gathered my things together, sliding Messiahs car seat out the backseat.
I began walking, soon getting stopped by a voice calling after me.
"Damn ion get no thank you or nun" Ray yelled loud enough for me to hear. He had his window down, looking out it with a smirk across his face. Was he tryna intimidate me or something? Because that's what he was doing.
I stared at him, giving him a look before I spoke.
"Thank you Ray" I answered in a low tone. I wasn't even down to argue with a nigga like him right now. I was just ready to go inside, and hop in bed.
He nodded his head before rolling back up his window.
Lord, please help me..

The Devil's own sins
Writer updates available for free on patreon. The following account, dear reader, is a recollection and retelling of the story of the first imp. The last devil born from the original primordial pit at the dawn of time, and the lowliest speck of that first generation. It recounts the tale of Thozronnath the pitiful and his steady rise from obscurity, perpetually stuck as a punching bag for his betters until the day hell itself spat him out. The information presented here is pieced together from eye-witness reports and second hand hearsay, sometimes from creatures with more than two hands. I can not tell you with any degree of accuracy how much of it is true as it begins long before our time and it's true ending lies far unto the future still. I can tell you one thing though, it was confusing as hell. Cover: Illustration for John Milton's Paradise Lost by Gustave Doré (1866), a thankfully public domain image. Currently on hiatus.
