"Give daddy some space hm?"
He asked you lowly,
an irritated sigh leaving his mouth
in the early hours of the morning after
you had been tossing and turning in bed all night,
clinging to him every chance you would get,
whining whenever he would push you away gently.
"Tired dada"
You mumbled sleepily
as he rolled his eyes at your innocence,
how you could get away with almost anything
just because you were small and cute.
Breathing deeply,
he stared up at the ceiling with intense blue eyes,
trying to keep his patience with you.
Jack Napier liked his space.
In his mind,
there was one side of the bed for you
and the other was for him.
You were trespassing and
he didn't like that.
"Why don't cha sleep on your side huh?"
He told you lowly,
pushing your little body to the side,
making you furrow your eyebrows
before you immediately crawled back to him,
laying your head onto his chest again.
"Baby..."
He muttered under his breath,
speaking through gritted teeth in annoyance.
"Doll.
You sleep on your side okay?
It's too fucking hot for this shit.
It's three in the morning and
you've been moving around all fucking night.
Pick a position and lay in it,
alright?"
"But I don't want to lay on that side of the bed"
You breathed out.
"Why not?"
He scoffed.
"There could be a monster that side
and he might lay underneath the bed
and wait for me until you go to sleep
and then he'll take me in the middle of the night"
You answered him with a straight face,
cute little eyes staring back at him.
"A monster?"
He raised an eyebrow at you,
unamused.
"Under the bed?
Quit making shit up and go to sleep little girl.

I didn't fucking stay out all night for this"
"You stayed out all night to drink"
You mumbled quietly
but he heard it.
He always did.
"What was that?"
He asked you daringly.
"You wanna say that again
so I can beat 'cha little ass?
You want spankies sweetheart?"
"No daddy!"
You choked out quickly,
moving to your side
like he had initially told you to,
a soft sigh leaving your mouth as you got underneath the sheets,
laying down begrudgingly.
A few moments went
by before you decided to try again.
"Daddy?"
"Hm?"
He muttered.
"Can I sleep with you now?"
You asked him hopefully,
unable to take a hint.
"It's been five minutes.
That means you had five whole minutes
of dada time so can we cuddle?"
"...Hurry up"
He sucked his teeth in annoyance,
knowing you would just ask all night,
holding his arms open for you
as you threw your little arms around his shoulders,
burying your head into his bare chest.
"I can hear your heartbeat daddy"
You told him quietly,
listening more closely.
"Wonderful"
He muttered sarcastically.
