《JOKER || DDLG IMAGINES》Chaos || Eightythree

Caught up in the chaos,
he often found it harder to relax.
Sitting on the couch with your head
resting against his chest,
intense blue eyes falling onto you
every now and then,
checking the luxury watch on
his wrist for the time.
Two more hours
and the insanity of the night would begin.
But for now,
he was with his little girl.
The only stable thing he ever had in his life.
Turning against him,
you buried your head into his chest,
losing concentration on the movie you
had begged him to watch with you.
"What are ya doing huh?"
He looked down at you,
smoothing his hand over your forehead.
"You don't wanna watch the movie?"
"It's boring dada"
You mumbled into his chest.
"Probably cos ya watched it six times already"
He muttered under his breath sarcastically.
"What do ya think hm?
You wanna get ready for bed?
Daddys gotta leave soon"
"Where is nona?"
You looked up at him,
asking about the nanny he payed to watch
over you when he wasn't available,
which was most of the time.
"She can't make it tonight"
He told you lowly,
pulling a cigarette out from his pocket
and lighting it up.
"Family problems or some shit like that"
"Then who's going to take care of me?"
You breathed out.
"I don't know doll"
He sucked his teeth in annoyance,
irritated by the twenty one questions.
"You're just gonna have to
take care of yourself baby..
It's only for a few hours"
"A few hours?"
You huffed.
"But what if someone breaks in or kidnaps me?
And then they'll cut my hair off and
make me call you to ask for a ransom and-"
"Uh"
He warned you with his eyes,
accustomed to dealing with your overactive imagination.

"Dont fucking do this again alright?
You did this last time.
I told you to stop fucking over thinking.
There's security downstairs
and you can call me if ya need to hm?"
"Can I order pizza?"
You asked him curiously.
"No"
He told you firmly.
"You can't fucking order anything when
I'm not here cos you don't know
who you're fucking inviting into your home.
Make something in the kitchen.
You never open the door to anyone,
you got that?"
"But there's no cookies"
You furrowed your eyebrows,
trying to argue with him.
"And nona just buys all this horrible fruit
that I don't even like.
There's no ice cream or milkshakes and-"
"You take what ya get"
He cut you off harshly,
patting your little butt to signal for
you to get ready for bed,
a soft sigh leaving your mouth as
you climbed down from his lap,
heading towards the bathroom
feeling misfortunate.
"Oops!"
You dropped something loudly moments later,
an irritated sigh leaving his mouth
as he stubbed out the cigarette,
following you into the bathroom
to see what you had done now.
"Don't worry daddy!
I didn't drop anything"
"Yes you did little girl"
He muttered to himself,
rolling his eyes at your innocence,
as if you could hide anything from him,
appearing in the doorway to the bathroom
to see you kneeling down onto the floor,
picking up the pieces of broken glass.
"You tryna get 'cha little butt whooped
today or what huh?"

In Range
A young, talented, and aspiring archer makes his way to the Olympic Archery Qualifiers; however an accident prevents him from ever making it. An accident which took the final years of his adolescence, his dream of ever becoming an Olympic Gold Archer, and most importantly someone who meant the world to him. Rehabilitating for a year in a hospital, the despair and dread of being alone and having nothing left worth living for finally got to him. Finding his way to the rooftop, he decided fall, but where he expected death, something else appeared; a blue message. A chill and simple LitRPG story that I just wanted to write. Note: I write with the Dark Theme setting, so if I make a colour mistake it’s probably why. I also strangely prefer using the Imperial System to measure Height, while I use the Metric System for almost everything else (Canadian by the way).
