It was three in the morning and

he still couldn't sleep.

Too caught up in his mind to even think of it

but that wasn't unusual for him.

Jack Napier was never too far from chaos.

"Dada?"

You mumbled tiredly,

opening your eyes to make sure that

he was still there,

unable to sleep without him.

"Hm?"

He looked at you.

"What's up baby girl?"

"Dada not tired?"

You asked him.

"No"

He chuckled at you lowly.

"Daddys not tired doll.

What are ya doing awake huh?

Why don't cha go back to sleep sweetheart?"

"Am cuddle?"

You asked him hopefully as he rolled his eyes,

opening his arms for you.

"Come"

He told you firmly.

"Before I change my mind"

Laying your head onto his chest,

you closed your eyes,

falling asleep pressed against him in the middle

of the night as he kissed your forehead roughly.

He wasn't going to get much sleep that night

or any other night either.

A mind like his,

simply wouldn't allow it.
