"Daddy!"

You squealed,

stepping over the spider and rushing

out of the bathroom and into

the hallway to find him.

"Whats up doll?"

He asked you lowly,

lighting up a cigarette in his office.

"There's a spider in the bathroom"

You panicked.

"You need to get it out daddy!"

"It's just a fucking spider"

He scoffed.

"It can't hurt ya baby.

Just step over it and get in the bath"

"It can hurt me!"

You tried to argue with him.

"It could be poisonous.

I'm not getting into the bath tub

until you get it out"

An irritated sigh leaving his mouth,

he left the cigarette burning in the ash tray

for a few moments,

following you into the bathroom as

you entered it slowly,

looking around for the spider.

"There it is daddy"

You pointed at it,

staying still in one position on

the cold tiled floor.

"It's fucking tiny"

He rolled his eyes at how dramatic you were,

taking it into his hands.

"Don't kill it"

You choked out.

"I'm not gonna kill it"

He sucked his teeth in annoyance.

"I'll put it in a jar or some shit and

you can take it outside hm?"

"Yes please"

You grinned at him toothily.

"Get in the bath"

He told you firmly as he left you there.

"That's the second time you've tried

to avoid it today.

Don't make me tell you again"
