Sighing softly,

you sat in the warm tub,

surrounded by endless bubbles

as you played in the foam,

waiting for him to tell you that it

was time to get out like he always did.

"That's it now doll-"

He paused,

intense blue eyes falling

onto the pet bunny you had in

the bath tub with you.

"What the fuck?"

"What?"

You looked up at him.

"You can't take a filthy animal

in the tub with you.

You're supposed to be getting clean

not fucking dirty again"

He scoffed,

taking the pet bunny from you,

placing it in the sink.

"That's why I thought mr snuffles could

benefit from a bubble bath daddy"

You breathed out as he told

you to stand up,

wrapping your little body in

a bath towel.

"That's why there's a fucking tub outside,

you wash it in the garden alright?

You don't bring it in our fucking bathrooms,

it's disgusting baby"

"Why?"

You furrowed your eyebrows.

He told you firmly.

"Don't bring it in the bathroom"

You cried.

"He doesn't like it.

"I'm drying you first

and then I'll do it alright?"

He snapped,

wiping your body drop with the towel before

telling you to go through to the bedroom

and change into your pyjamas

for the night.

as he turned on the warm faucet lowly,

rinsing the foam from the bunny.

"Little girl?"

"Is mr snuffles okay?"

"Come get 'cha bunny before

I do something I regret"

He stared down at the innocent thing,

lighting up a cigarette.
