You stepped into his office,

standing in between his legs and he could tell

that there was something you wanted,

an amused grin forming on his mouth because

who knew what you were going

to come up with next.

"I need a raise on my allowance"

He raised an eyebrow,

a chuckle leaving his mouth.

"And what do ya need this raise for?"

"To buy something..."

You trailed off into a silence.

"You only give me a couple hundred

dollars a week"

"I give you a couple hundred dollars a week

cos you waste it on stupid shit"

He cut you off harshly.

"Buying boxes of candy like it's fucking cocaine,

pens,

colouring books,

clothes you're never gonna wear,

books you're never gonna read.

You can't handle money baby"

"Well,

I don't have a life outside of this"

You breathed out.

"I'm here all the time and it's the only joy I get"

"No raise"

He told you firmly.

"If ya want something outside of the money

Daddy already gives you,

you're gonna have to come ask me first,

show it to me and if I think its reasonable,

I'll let cha get it"

"But you'll never say yes"

You tried to argue with him,

which was pointless because

you could never win.

"I ask you for things all the time and

you just say no"

"You just had a fucking birthday honey"

He scoffed.

"I bought you tons of crap ya didn't need

just because you fucking asked for it.

That's it.

Wait till christmas"

"Christmas?"

You echoed.

"That's nine months away!"

"Good"

He muttered under his breath.

"Then you'll learn some goddamn

respect hm?"

"Please daddy"

You climbed onto his lap,

placing your hands on his shoulders,

giving him pleading eyes.

"Fifty extra dollars a week"

"Twenty"

"Thirty"

You tried to bargain with him.

"...Thirty"

He confirmed before you kissed him,

rolling his eyes at how you were so sure

that you had managed to convince him to change his mind but losing thirty extra dollars a week wasn't going to do any damage to his wallet.

"I love you so much daddy!"

You told him,

burying your head into his chest,

an irritated sigh leaving his mouth like it always did whenever you would cling to him like that.
