"Lisa?" Richard let out weakly.

"H-hi dad..."

"Don't be afraid... come here."

Lisa nodded her head and walk towards her dad who is laying on the bed and sit on the chair beside the bed.

"Look at you... you look just like your mother. You have the same golden-brown hair and emerald green eyes like her too..."

"That's not true, I look like you too."

"Yes, I do see a bit of me in you." Richard chuckled softly. "Why do you look so sad?" He added.

"How can you be so happy considering you're-"

"Dying right?" Richard said after he saw that Lisa was struggling with completing her sentence. "Lisa baby I've lived a very happy life..." He reasoned out.

"How can you say something like that?! You didn't get a chance to be my father, and I never got a chance to be your daughter... how could this be a happy life for you?" Lisa said, tears slowly coming down her face.

"Come on now Lisa, don't cry... It will be okay."

"No, it won't, it'll never be okay after this. Mom will be broken and so will I!"

"Now that's not true Lisa, your mother has all of our memories together."

"Memories?" Lisa was confused.

"Of course. We had a very happy life together before things fell apart. Do you want to hear the story?"

"Yes, please." Lisa mumbled.

"Alright, it all started years ago when I was around your age."

I was visiting Greece for my vacation, I never thought about even going there. But for some odd reason, this is where I picked. There was just something pulling me to go there. Who would have thought... it was your mother.

Back then I was nothing but a player, I wasn't looking for love or even a relationship. I never thought about a family... I loved being free. Well, that was until... I met your mother.

"YOU PATHETIC PIECE OF CRAP! If I see you harassing girls like that again, I swear to god you don't want to imagine what I would do to you!"

"I don't think you can do anything little girl." The unknown man laughed.

"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY FACE!" Athena yelled and slapped the guy across his cheeks.

"You are gonna regret ever slapping me-" The guy balled his fist, getting ready to fight.

"Why don't you listen to her and get out of here, because I highly doubt you want to mess with me." Richard cut in leaving the guy no choice but to leave.

After the guy left, Athena glared at Richard and without saying anything she walked away. Poor Richard was confused and lost to what just happened.

"HEY WAIT!" Richard shouted out the first thing that went through his mind, chasing after Athena.

"Can I help you?" Athena sighed.

"I just wanted to tell you how brave you were back there and-"

"Yeah thanks, but if you don't mind I have places to go." Athena rolled her eyes and walk away.

"Damn she's stubborn." Richard face palmed himself and run after Athena.

"Come on... I just wanna talk." Richard said, panting after a long run.

"Fine, you have 5 minutes or else I'm walking away."

"Wow, you don't hold back do you." Richard chuckled.

"What do you mean?"

"You clearly don't care what others think of you, you're very hard-headed."

"Are you trying to make me walk away again?"

"Uh, I-" Richard was speechless.

"I'm not so stubborn now, am I?"

"Well look at that, you know how to make a joke. For a second I thought you weren't a human." Richard chuckled, causing Athena to giggle but only to die down when she heard the last sentence.

"Hey, are you alright?" Richard asked when he saw Athena was quiet.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Listen, I-" Athena was cut off when Richard walked closer.

"Please don't leave again." Richard pleaded.

"You don't know me, why are you hanging on to me?"

"Honestly, I have no clue why but I don't want to let you go."

"Listen, you seem like a great guy, but I'm not what you are looking for. I'm sorry... but you deserve better I'll just ruin your life." Athena said and walk away once again.

There was something about her that change my life, which made me want to be serious. That was the very first time I met her, I didn't know her name or anything about her. All I knew was that I wanted to be with her and that she was the one who would change my life.

I honestly thought I'd never see her again after that, but I was wrong. Maybe it was a coincidence or maybe just maybe... it was faith.

"Wow... Greece is beautiful." Richard mumbled.

"Yeah, the water is pretty isn't it?" Someone replied.

"It's you!"

"Yeah, it's me..."

"Sorry if that sounded rude, but I don't know your-"

"My name is Athena."

"That's a very beautiful name, were you named after the Greek goddess?" Richard asked.

"You could say something like that... but that's not the reason I'm here, I came to ask you why you've been looking for me." Athena questioned.

"How did you know-"

"I'm not blind, I've seen you trying to follow me around and find me."

"I wasn't trying to stalk you or anything, I just-"

"You just what?" Athena asked.

"I just wanted to spend more time with you..."

"I told you I'm not good for you, why can't you just accept that."

"Because I really like you."

"But you don't know me!" Athena yelled in frustration.

"Then let me get to know you, all I'm asking for is a chance." Richard insisted.

"You're a real pain, you know that right?"

"I've been told yes. Does this mean you'll give me a chance?" Richard shrugged it off and asked.

"I will but that's only because your desperation is growing on me."

Eventually, your mother and I got closer. I brought her back home with me. She told me she was different and she never let me forget it. When I proposed to her, she told me the truth about who she was. She told me she couldn't hide it anymore and that she couldn't let this happen without telling me.

But at that point, I was willing to risk it all just for her. I knew the dangers heading my way and so did she, but it just couldn't keep us apart. She was my world, and she changed me for the better.

Before we knew it, you were on the way and we couldn't have been happier. Everything in our life was perfect and nothing could get in our way. But... the day after you were born, that's when things came crashing down before our eyes.

"Richard what are we going to do?! If they get a hold of you and Lisa-" Athena was freaking out.

"You need to take Lisa and get out of here!"

"WHAT?! No, I'm not leaving you here!"

"You need to listen to me, Lisa is our number one priority. It doesn't matter what happens to me, but you need to keep our baby safe."

"But Richard you'll-"

"Athena take her and run, don't worry about me!" Richard insisted.

Athena got no choice but to take Lisa with her and run away, away from Richard and their home.

"Hello, Richard." Someone suddenly said, causing Richard to turn around immediately. The person was dressed in a skeleton costume.

"You are too late, she's gone and you will never find her and our baby!"

"Don't worry, I don't care about the baby but wherever you go Athena follows!" The unknown guy said and took Richard with him.

"Lisa please stop crying... it will be okay. These people will take care of you, I can feel their positive aura. I have to save your father and then when I bring him back, we're all going to be a family. And I'll take both of you away from this awful life... just please stop crying." Athena tried to comfort her baby and escaped to the mortal world.

"Can I help you?" A man answered the door.

"I need to speak with Eva..." Athena pleaded.

"EVA!" The man called for his wife and look back at Athena. "Who are you?"

"I will answer all your questions once I see Eva."

"I just got Lia to sleep, can you not yell." Eva glared at her husband.

"Well, we have a visitor..."

"Oh, I'm sorry, can I help you?"

"I need your help to keep my daughter."

"Excuse me?!" Both parents were shocked at the request.

"Please, I beg of you, I can't keep her safe."

"But we don't even know you and-" Eva tried to reason out.

"My name is Athena... and I'm a god of Mount Olympus."

"What?! This is a joke right?" Eva's husband asked.

"I'm sorry to shock you like this, but it's true and my daughter is not safe there."

"But if you're a god, you should be able to protect her right?"

"No... Zeus doesn't want any of the gods to have children, he said he would kill them. So we've all brought our children to the mortal world so they could be safe. Please, I beg you..."

"Eva this is crazy... there's no way she's telling the truth." Her husband said.

"But there's was a point where we didn't think magic was real. Please, if not for her, at least for her child."

"I can't believe I'm saying yes to this."

"Thank you. Okay, Athena... we'll help you." Eva said.

"Thank you both so much, I can never repay you for your kindness. This is my daughter... her name is Lisa."

"She's beautiful, look at her pure white eyes." Eva was in awe with the beauty.

"Please take good care of her."

"We will..." Eva promised.

"One day she'll be able to come home, but till then I need her safe."

"I understand... we'll take very good care of her and make sure she grows up with the love she deserves."

"Thank you, but I must be going." Athena said and disappeared,

"And it looks like we have a new member to our family, I just hope Lia likes her..." Eva said.

"She'll love her and now she's our little girl and no one will harm her." Her husband reassured her.

"ZEUS LET HIM GO!" Athena yelled once she was in the throne hall in Olympus.

"You have some nerve of asking me to spare his life!"

"Please, you have your wish, I'm here and I'll stay here. Just let him go." Athena pleaded.

"You've crossed me for the last time, Athena! Not only did you marry this clown, but you had a child with him! And if you won't hand over that baby then I'll take his life instead."

"Zeus please..."

"You will never find our daughter so you might as well just kill me!" Richard yelled

"Richard stop!" Athena exclaimed.

"If that's your wish then I'll grind it!" Zeus laughed like a maniac.

"But then how are you still here, what happened after that?" Lisa questioned her father.

"Lisa, That's enough." Athena came into the room.

"Lisa it's time to say goodbye."

"What?!" Lisa couldn't believe it, she's still not ready to let go. Not when she just found her father back recently.

"Look at him, baby... he's going." Athena whispered.

"Lisa please don't be mad or think revenge will solve everything. Athena my love that goes to you too. I love you both and I'm glad I got to see you both one last time. Lisa, you've become such a beautiful young woman, and you're just like your mother in every way. Never let people bring you down or change you, trust me you're very special. More special than you already know... you'll change things here in Olympus and everyone will be free. Athena, I know how much guilt you feel in your heart but this is my chance to take that from you. You were always so perfect in every way possible, you might be angry for not being there for Lisa, but now this is your chance to be her mother and support her through everything. She needs at least one of her parents with her and this is your chance."

"Dad... please don't go..." Lisa said with a trembling voice, tears threatened to spill.

"I'm sorry baby girl... but this is my fate."

"I love you so much, Richard... you'll always be in my heart."

"I will never leave you, my love... you were the best thing that happened to me. I love you." Richard said his last word and released his last breath. Just like that, he left.

"He's gone." Lisa said, sobbing.

Even though I didn't know my dad it still broke my heart. My mom was stronger than me, she was able to hold herself together and did what needs to be done. Thankfully I had Jungkook with me and he didn't leave my side.

"Lisa..."

"Jungkook I don't want anyone to know about this... We have a job to do and I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me."

"Lisa it's okay to be sad... he was your father." Jungkook tried to comfort Lisa.

"He wouldn't want me to mourn, he would want me to make a difference and to make him proud. So that's exactly what I'll do."
