been taking place. They went to the lounge as usual for lunch, and to think of a plan for the rest of the day.

"I'll go back to the Champion's suite to talk to Thor, and--"

Suddenly, a giant hologram of the Grandmaster was displayed at the center of the city, and his voice was projected everywhere.

"Sakaar, hear ye. Attention please. I have some bad news. My beloved, exalted Champion has turned up missing. Take to the streets--celebrate my champion." He spoke sadly. "It seems that the criminally seductive Lord of Thunder has stolen him away."

"Oh my--Thor must've escaped out of the suite with Hulk." Alex whispered to Loki.

"I will go to the Grandmaster. I'll tell him I can find Thor myself, and not to send any authorities."

"Okay. I'll go into the city and find him," Alex stood up, squeezing his hand. "I'll see you when I see you."

They parted ways, with Alex going into the elevator down and Loki going up. She worried about his interactions with the Grandmaster, as she knew that lunatic was known to melt people on a whim with his stupid weapon.

Once outside, Alex kept her eyes peeled. How hard could it be to find a green giant?

Apparently, very hard.

People flooded the streets, displaying images and merchandise of the Hulk, chanting for him. She waved through people, becoming very stressed out. It wasn't until twenty minutes had gone by that she finally spotted Thor in a small alleyway.

Without saying anything, she ran over to him. Once she got closer, she realized that Bruce had returned to his human form.

"Bruce!" She gasped. She engulfed him in a hug, which he returned awkwardly as always.

"Alex, you look different somehow,"

"Yeah, I'm immortal. That's definitely a story for another day."

"I'm on an alien planet and Alex is immortal. I can't handle this right now. If I turn into the Hulk, I am gonna come back again. And you don't care." Bruce said to Thor.

"No, no. I'm putting together the team. The Hulk is the fire."

"Wait, you're just using me to get to the Hulk."

Alex's eyes darted between the two men. "So, I missed a lot."

"Just a fight or two. Banner, I'm not--"

"It's gross. You don't care about me. You're not my friend."

"How did you get Bruce Banner in his feels?" Alex rubbed her forehead.

"I don't even like the Hulk! He's all like 'smash smash smash'. I prefer you."

Alex patted Bruce's shoulder comfortingly.

"But, if I'm being honest, when it comes to fighting evil beings, he is very powerful and useful."

"Yeah, Banner's powerful and useful too." Bruce retorted.

"Is he though?"

"Thor!"

"How many PhD's does Hulk have? Zero. How many PhD's does Banner have? Seven."

"You have seven PhD's? Jesus."

"Fine. You don't have to fight. But we're in danger here, so we have to move."

Thor grabbed a towel, placing it around his head. He flung one at Alex, gesturing for her to do the same.

"So, you still with the uh, villain guy?" Bruce asked Alex while Thor fixed his makeshift head scarf.

"I am still with Loki, Bruce, yes."

"How's that working out?"

"Well--"

"Alright, let's go." Thor spoke up. "Listen, Banner, we're gonna go to Asgard and you're not have to think about the Hulk ever again. All right?"

"All right."

"Well, I don't think you guys have seen what's happening out there--"

As soon as Bruce stepped out of the alleyway, he was hit in the face with green powder. The parade/celebration was at its height, and everywhere you looked you saw the Hulk.

The three got swept into the crowd, which kept chanting and dancing. The amount of green surrounding them made Bruce want to just puke, and Alex could tell. Bruce backed away from some dancers, running into a large creature. The creature angrily hissed at Bruce, sizing him up. Thor stepped in front of Bruce bravely, but the creature seized and collapsed on the ground.

As the creature fell, behind him stood a tan woman with black armor and silver face paint around her eyes.

Bruce stood behind Thor still, while Alex was at Thor's side.

"Hi," Thor spoke. Alex was unsure of who the girl was, but she was the only human in the entire parade. So, she couldn't be too bad to handle.

"Hi."

"I was gonna do that," Thor gestured to the creature, still on the ground.

"Yeah, well, I did it first."

"What are you doing here?"

"What are you doing here?" The girl retorted. "I thought you were leaving."

"I got sidetracked." Thor shrugged.

"How do you two know each other exactly?" Alex spoke up, impatient.

"She's the one who brought me here." Thor replied with a tone that told Alex their relationship wasn't very friendly.

"What's with the," She nodded to Thor's head scarf.

"It's my disguise."

"But I can see your face."

"Not when I do this you can't." Thor covered his face, and Alex and Bruce exchanged an unsure glance.

The girl rolled her eyes, and took Thor by the arm. She lead them out of the parade, and down a street.

"Who's this guy," The girl nodded to Bruce.

"A friend.

"Who? Me? I'm Bruce."

"I feel like I know you," She turned her head back toward him.

"I feel like I know you too,"

"And who're you? You this one's girlfriend?" She asked Alex, nodding to Thor.

"No, but close." Alex ignored the girl's up-down at her. "I'm Alex."

"142, you can call me that."

They walked inside of a building, following 142 down a green and white hallway. The interior was similar to the Champion's suite, yet more worn and dirty.

142 stopped outside of a door, turning toward them three.

"Look, I've spent years in a haze trying to forget my past. Sakaar seemed like the best place to drink and forget and die one day." She spoke.

"I was thinking that you drink too much, and that was probably going to kill you." Thor muttered.

"I don't plan to stop drinking."

"Oh."

"But, I don't want to forget. I can't turn away anymore. So, if I'm going to die, well, it may as well be driving my sword through the heard of that murderous hag."

"I like her." Alex stated. "So, we're all caught up on your wacky sister?"

"Seems as though we are." Thor nodded.

"So, I'm saying I want to be on the team. Has it got a name?" 142 asked.

"Yeah, it's called the Revengers." Thor said proudly.

Alex scrunched her face, looking to Thor. Bruce rubbed his forehead, and 142 looked unconvinced.

"The Revengers." She repeated.

Thor looked unsure himself. "Because I'm getting revenge. You're getting rev--do you guys want revenge?"

"I'm undecided." Bruce shook his head.

"I'm just trying to avoid a crazy sister-in-law." Alex shrugged.

142 just rose her eyebrows, going to open her apartment door. "Also, I've got a peace offering."

She wore a sick grin as she swung open her door. On the other side, they saw Loki, sitting with his legs crossed and chains around his torso.

"Surprise," He sang sarcastically.

Alex's eyes widened, running over to him and kneeling down. She inspected his face for injuries, as he squirmed to escape her motherly grasp.

"That's her boyfriend." Thor said to 142. He then proceeded to pick up a bottle, and toss it toward Loki's head. It hit him square on.

Loki looked at Thor with murderous eyes, muttering an 'ow'. Alex just rolled her eyes, running her fingers through his hair. Bruce looked unsure, slowly stepping toward Loki.

"Hello, Bruce." Loki smirked.

"So, this is what befriending the Grandmaster looks like?" Alex put her hands on the sides of his face.

"That one's a little harder to befriend." He glanced over at 142. "I see you found them quite easily,"

"You know me, I can get the job done."

"Yes, you can."

"Shut up." She lightly pushed his shoulder, careful not to tip him over. Loki simply winked at her, giving her unwanted butterflies.

Alex stood up, leaving Loki to go tune into the conversation the other three were having.

"The Devil's Anus?" 142 asked.

"Okay, I definitely came into this conversation at the wrong time." Alex scrunched her eyebrows.

142 simply nodded to the gigantic wormhole that floated in the middle of the city. It was bright red, and frankly, quite terrifying to look at.

"Wait, whose anus are we going through?" Bruce asked.

"The wormhole." Thor pointed out the window. "For the record, I didn't know it was called that when I picked it."

"We need another ship. That would tear mine to pieces." 142 spoke.

"She's right. We need one that can withstand the geodetic strain from the singularity."

Alex and Bruce looked at Thor quizzically. 142 had grabbed a bottle, and effortlessly drank from it while nodding at Thor's sentence.

"And has an offline power steering system that could also function without the on-board computer." Bruce spoke.

"And we need one with cup holders because we're going to die. So, drinks!" 142 cheered.

"I'll say it again." Alex nodded. "I like her."

"We need a ship." Bruce cleared his throat.

"There are one or two ships, top of the line models--"

"I don't mean to impose," Loki spoke up finally. He was cut off by 142 chucking her empty glass bottle at the wall behind him.

"Hey, watch it." Alex snapped.

"Sorry, sorry."

Loki continued, "But, the Grandmaster has a great many ships. I may have stolen the access codes to his security system."

"I knew there was a reason I love you."

"And in exchange for codes and access to a ship, I'm asking for safe passage through the anus."

Alex simply sighed. "And there it goes. Gone."

"You're telling us you can get us access into the garage without setting off any alarms?"

Loki nodded.

"Quick FYI, I was looking at him and he was totally ready to kill me." Bruce chimed in.

"He did try to kill me." 142 agreed.

"Yeah, me too. On many, many occasions. There was this one time when we were children, he transformed into a snake and he knows I love snakes. So, I went to pick up the snake to admire it and he transformed back into himself and he was like, "it's me!" and he stabbed me." Thor babbled. The entire group looked at him, all different expressions on their face. "We were, uh, eight at the time."

Everyone then looked to Alex for a reply.

"Um, he hasn't tried to kill me, per say, but he did trade me for a stick."

They all nodded in satisfaction, while Loki rolled his eyes.

"If we're boosting a ship, we're gonna need to draw some guards away from the palace." 142 said.

"Why not set the beast loose?" Loki suggested.

"Shut up." Thor shushed his brother.

Alex walked over, putting her arm around Loki's shoulders. He leaned into her side as they watched the group interact.

"You guys have a beast?" 142 became excited.

"No, there's no beast. He's just being stupid--we're going to start a revolution."
