"Couple Auditions?" I heard over the top of the lungs squeal from all the male judges in unison.

I nodded my head providing them a set each of a big bunch of couples's profiles. I saw the other judges looking at me weirdly almost pushing their lips into their noses.

Of course we should think of couple goals too. There might be few couples who wants to share the same workplace and enjoy office romance but couldn't due to many reasons.

So I thought, why not give such couples a chance to audition and get into Sergio's startup as a single package.

"One, mafia men are not recruited through auditions and two, this is not 'what's wrong with Secretary Kim' drama to propose office romance to couples. Couples don't apply to be a part of mafia, dearest sister." Sergio answered making me wonder over his words.

Couples don't go to mafia together?

Why not?

"Why not? If she thinks couples should have a chance too, then I think we should open our minds to new aspects." Alcohol replied back on my behalf and my God, the way he supported me made me hug him tightly.

I don't know what seeds Alcohol did not have but other than that, he is filled with many good weeds.

These days, whenever Alcohol took my side or thought of my idea from my perspective, I really felt good in my stomach.

It makes my stomach tickle inside.

"That's right. What soon-to-be Mr. Black is saying is absolutely true. You don't allow couples, doesn't mean you can't. We should try new scopes and empower our gang in all aspects. Later on when you will have babies we will take auditions for kid mafia for your kids' gang. Only ages between four to twelve are allowed in kid's mafia." I explained as idea after idea is knocking the door of my brain.

Being a mafia member or a mafia don is already outdated and ancient. What we now need is improvisation in their mechanism and design so we can bring a bright and a new outlook as per the current trend demands.

"Banshee girl, we mafia hurt people, kills people, threaten and extort money from people. We are not agencies that scout beauties and handsome men on roads and give them a chance to be a part of a music band or actors." Oldie said making me bob my head in understanding.

Right, I cannot change the root motive of the organization completely. I should only improvise and make it a little trendier.

I took a piece of apple from my plate of fruits and swallowed it as thoughts about what Oldie said filled my head. I glanced at the long tables of my co-judges and noticed that everyone, including Alcohol is in agreement with what Oldie said.

"Then let's divide the business into two parts. Physical and cyber. Most employees love a desk job so we can employ couples in cyber crimes while the others of your choice can go for physical crimes. This way, you are also extending your business to online services as well. Internet and online activities are trending right now." I explained thinking of different cyber activities they can do.

I mean, you should think out of box for your business to grow. Even though I'm an aspiring acupuncturist and acupuncture can be done only physically for now, I'm thinking and planning to make my services online.

My patients need not visit my clinic to get punctured; I'm planning to make it more viable and online-able.

"Kill me Satan! How do you kidnap people online?" Ivan asked as he blew out huge huff of air.

"Threaten them to lock themselves indoors." I answered him right away.

"How do we extort money online?"

"Hack their bank accounts and get your money."

"Goodness, how to kill them through internet?"

"Threaten them to do so themselves."

"I can't with this girl. Boss, let's just go forward with those couple auditions too. I cannot win an argument with her." Ivan patted Sergio's back and pulled him back to their seats.

Oldie and Ferb too took their judging seats while I held Alcohol's hand and took him to the stage. Considering the situation, Alcohol and I are also a couple and we are also indirectly working for the mafia organization so I want to try out this audition thing too.

Pass or fail, we are still a part of it so why not just try it.

"Alcohol, let's try it too. I want to see how we go through this together. My mama said being a couple is going through success and failures together. I will marry you in future anyway." I whispered to him and signaled Piper to start the show.

I and Alcohol stood in the centre of the stage and noticed him nod at me with a smile.

I kind of like his smile these days. He started putting on some good weight, covering his bare bones with meat so his smile these days seems full and meaty.

"Hello, I'm Ale and this is my girlfriend Bambina." Alcohol introduced us and I grinned in agreement towards the judges.

Three out of the four hit mosquitoes on their heads before looking back at us like some kind of ghost possessed them.

"Why should we hire you?" Asked Oldie.

"I can kill with a gun while my lovely lady can kill without using a weapon. I fell in love with her because she has these deadly charms that no other women on this planet possess. She is innocent but still deadly. She is kind yet one of a kind. She is cute and also can be an evil root. She is like a child that is both mild and wild." Woah!

I turned towards Alcohol and looked at him in amazement as he said those words. I felt like my heart tried to escape from the ribcage and run away like a horse.

It was my first time I felt like that and to be honest, I did not even feel like this when I went to scuba diving in the Atlantic Ocean and encountered a huge shark.

Ah, so this much be how the heroine in Korean dramas felt when her hero said something good.

It's an interesting feeling.

"Wow! I like what you said Alcohol and it is very poetic too." I clapped and heard sneezing kind of laugh from the judges.

"Ah, ha. I told you I love everything about you." Alcohol answered back kissing my forehead.

Wow! That is what Papa says to Mama all the time. So, Alcohol loves me how Papa loves Mama.

"But we cannot hire you." The three of them, except Ferb said in unison. It is like they prepared such adlibs before itself.

Such funny guys, they are. Obviously I don't need approval to join them. I am a part of them from long back.

Silly!

"Why not?" Alcohol asked casually.

"Because you have such genuine feelings for her but she has none for you. So you are not exactly a couple. You have nothing that binds you both to be together." Sergio said getting a hit on the back of his head from Oldie.

"Don't provoke her. I don't want them to confess at all." Oldie exclaimed loudly putting me in my wonder world again.

Sergio brother is right though!

The feelings Mama told me about just started to visit me so I cannot tell Alcohol what all he said. But as a couple we should indeed have something that binds us together.

"Alcohol, what brother said is right. Since I just started feeling ticklish for you, I cannot understand these feelings sometimes. For that reason I cannot express you back like you did. But we should indeed have something to bind us like a couple to be fair with the other couples." I expressed my concern, pulling him by the shirt on his hand.

Feelings can take their time, but before that we should still have some rope tying us to each other.

"Marry me. You can experience emotion of love slowly even after getting married to me." Alcohol said all too enthusiastically dropping on one knee before me.

Marry him?

But... But –

"But I want to marry for love. I still need more time with you to feel those sensations." My dream is to marry for love. I want to marry someone who makes me love him like heroines from Korean dramas.

"Exactly. Since you don't love him that much yet, you are disqualified and should leave him forever." Oldie announced standing up from his seat with a grin on his face and good Lord he looks like a makeup-less joker.

Oldie has such talented face.

I scratched my nose as no thoughts came to my mind to solve the current problem. Even though I don't need to qualify the auditions to be a part of them, I still want to be a fair inspiration to my upcoming juniors.

But I can't yet marry Alcohol too.

What to do then?!

"It's alright, Little Fae; we can take this slowly." Alcohol impressed me again with his lovely statement.

"Umm, but –" I don't want to disappoint Alcohol. I want to show them that we can still be an amazing couple.

"Wait – Alcohol, why don't I bind you with a baby?" I said and was startled by the sudden yell of 'NO' that came from Oldie.

I thought baby can bind a couple too?!
