A week passed in a blur, that day when I came back from the hospital my mom informed me that the wedding dates have been fixed and the Singhanias want the wedding to be simple. At Least the Singhanias and I are on the same page on this topic.

I met Mr. and Mrs. Singhania. They are truly a sweet welcoming couple who looked happy. Mrs.Singhania gave a bear hug when she first saw me and Mr.Singhania gave his blessings. Khyati, his sister, rejoiced the moment she got to know that I am the girl marrying her brother, she gave me a warm hug and spoke until she was tired. I really enjoyed their company. I never met him or spoke to him. I just saw a few pictures of him that my parents showed me. I tried searching for more information about him but except for his business interviews I didn't find anything.

All the pre-wedding ceremonies like Mehendi, haldi, sangeet, chooda ceremony were being held at the groom's and bride's place separately. And finally the wedding day arrived, The day I never expected this soon. The big day for every girl, even I dreamt of this day but it was surely not this way.

My wedding dress was very elegant, just the way I wanted it was red in colour with a lot of embroidery work on the lehenga and the jewellery was perfect. My hands had a beautiful henna design with his name written in the design. The chooda were looking gorgeous and the Kaleerey that were hanging to the chooda were making a pleasant soft sound.

During the chooda ceremony, there is this sentiment that the bride shakes her hands on the heads of unmarried girls present. It is believed that if any part of the kalire falls on the unmarried girl then she’ll be the next in line to get married And a kalire dropped on sara's head it the most epic moments of my wedding but she kept saying all this is not real, I don't believe in this stuff and blah blah. My chain of thoughts broke the moment Sara screamed "baraat aa gayi" as she heard the sounds of the dhol.

After some time the pandit ji called the bride as I walked towards the mandap everyone's eyes were fixed on me. I was now very very nervous I was silently praying that everything goes well

The moment my eyes landed on him my heart skipped a beat. I can't tell you how handsome and hot he looked in his bright red sherwani. I didn't know that our dress colour was going to be the same.

He passed a smile when I entered the mandap but later he didn't even notice me. The priest chanted the mantras and after hours of rituals the wedding came to an end.

I was now officially Mrs. Naina Dhruv Singhania.

I am stuck with him, forever

Finally, it’s time for me to leave my loved ones with some sweet memories behind! vidai

My mom and dad were crying and seeing them cry I couldn't hold my tears back. I immediately hugged them and continued to sob on their shoulders.

Both his parents hugged me. His mother kissed my forehead and said softly "I am so lucky to have you as my daughter in law" I smiled at her statement. His dad patted my head and blessed me. Khayti was super active during the entire ceremony, she gave me a tight hug.

Sara was also crying. I was trying hard not to laugh, She was looking terrible while crying and all her mascara started to smudge. She pulled me into a warm hug and whispered "Jiju is quite handsome and trust me, He won't let you regret your choice" with a smirk on her face. I slapped her arm and hugged her tightly.

Each day, each ritual, all this was super tiring- haldi, sangeet etc etc.

When the wedding day arrived everyone was very excited. The whole house was lit up, the preparations were in full swing and the entire house was flooded with people. The wedding was simple with not many people and the media was kept away.

I haven't met her but I saw a few pictures which khyati showed me.

As she walked to the mandap I was mesmerized by her Beauty. The red colour suited her so well. A smile crept on my face seeing her and my heart skipped several beats. She was truly driving me insane.

"I need to stay away from her" I reminded myself

I avoided her for the rest of the wedding. Her smile was like a magnet that was pulling me towards her. After a long session of rituals the wedding came to an end.

Karan gave me a hug and whispered "bhabhi is so beautiful " he then smiled at me

During the vidai, she was crying not caring her surroundings and She sobbed hard hugging her parents

It was like my world was being torn apart seeing her tears.

Both my mom and dad hugged her and gave their blessings. My mom kissed her forehead and said something to her which I couldn't hear but she smiled at whatever my mom said. Khayti was over excited during the whole wedding, I never saw her this happy. Khyati is the light of my life and seeing her happy gave me satisfaction. Everyone was so happy with the alliance.

Her dad hugged me and said "take care of her, dear"

My mom and dad gave a warm hug and my mom beamed with happiness "You both look so good together"

As she got into the car fresh tears brimmed her eyes, she was wiping tears forcefully using her hands and her eyes were fixed on the window.

No words were exchanged, there was an awkward silence in the car.My heart aced seeing her cry

I passed her the tissue box, she turned towards me and as her eyes met mine I could see they were red and her make up was smudged due to the continues weeping

She pulled a few tissues from the tissue box and cleaned her tears.

She passed a tight lipped smile and mumbled "thank you" . I gave her an encouraging smile.
