Crows Security Headquarters, Gotham City
Stopping the car at the parking lot close to the elevator in the underground basement Daniel killed the engine of the vehicle and opened the car door for Bruce, code-named Lightning in the Secret Service. Daniel knows what is he up to although he isn't told. He followed him into the elevator, both men standing apart as he pressed the button of the designated floor. Daniel's manner of dressing is already standing out from the crowd if there ever have one, with his Secret Service badge pinned on his jacket and the communication earpiece. Daniel also had a weapon on him, a handgun kept in a holster and hidden within the folds of the jacket of his business suit.
The numbers started to rise as the elevator headed up and stopped at the designated floor. The door opened, showing both men, a large room with screens showing maps and news footage of the vice president going missing. Working tables and computers filled the space, leaving a large gap in the form of a walkway. They heard faint chatter but most of them kept their head down. Bruce angles his head as he felt that someone's watching him, besides Daniel, which is every Secret Service agent's job description. "You're here." the person, perched high on the upper floor, said. "I was starting to think that you're late." Instead of replying he only leveled a glance at the person and stepped on the metal staircase to reach the upper floor. The metal steps created enough noises for the working people to look up and search the source. Some of them were shocked to saw the presence of the two men in their headquarters as, it's not every day they get to see the husband of the current vice president in person and a Secret Service agent.

Entering a private room acting as a briefing or an occasional office, the person locked the door. Bruce looked at the two women seated at the table and nodded. "Thank you for coming." he said.
"For a friend." one of the woman said. She, is Julia Pennyworth, a friend of Bruce who works for British Intelligence. "Of course."
"Have you guys found anything?" Bruce asked, folding his arms.
"We did, which shows us that Isabella is well connected as we initially believed to be." the other woman, Kate, Bruce's cousin, said.
"Is he staying here?" Julia asked, concern lacing her voice.
"He has to." Bruce said. Julia sighed and stood up.
"Isabella is closely related to four families : The Kim Family, The Churchill Family, The Castellanos Family, The Romanov Family and The Von Accola Family." Julia said as the screen displayed a world map and five red lines branching to South Korea, the United Kingdom, Greece, Russia and Switzerland, all starting from a picture of Isabella. "But Isabella is born to the Kim Family in the year 1997, to Alice Kim Jia Ying and her estranged father, Anthony Edward Stark. Her lineage can be traced back to the Spartan King Leonidas and King Gwangjong of Goryeo."
"I know that Julia, just tell us what we don't know."
"But Ryan Carey and Julius Harkavy knows this earlier than you, as FBI directors. Isabella has experiences in military intelligence, due to her training with this man, General Byun Woo Dae. I am still trying to figure out their connection."
"He's her uncle. We met during the crisis before the election."
"The Castellanos Family is a direct descendant of the fallen Spartan King, the closest descendants we can find are two individuals : Kassandra and Antonio Castellanos."

"Any connection to Isabella?"
"Kassandra is your wife's grandmother Bruce." Kate said. Julia raised a brow.
"I didn't know that you were married, most at all to Isabella." she said. Bruce didn't respond.
"She changed her name once, but went back to her Greek name soon after." then two military dossiers replaced the map.
"She has been, first with the Republic of Korea Army, then the United States Military Academy." Julia goes on. "Her work with the ROK Army is more on the side of military intelligence but switched to combat when she served in the American Army."
"She is then deployed to Afghanistan." Kate said. "She has a tough side, surviving on her own for ten days after an IED took out her team. Highly decorated and valued by the Defense Department, the Pentagon and the White House."
"A contrast to you apparently." Julia remarked, although she knew that he is Batman.
"And that was before she is assigned to Burqa."
"Is Burqa really that famous?"
"Only the best of the best gets to go there." Kate said. "But what goes up in the black ops team you have to ask George Duncan."
"Why?"
"George Duncan is the only liaison at Burqa that communicates with The Pentagon." Kate asked. "Dad told me. And you should address her as Major from now on."
"I know that."
"I have also dug up her mother's records Bruce." Julia added. "Her mother is a career diplomat, but she works for the NIS, the premier intelligence agency in South Korea. Known as White Wolf, she also works on occasions with MI6, CIA and the FBI by providing information involving criminals operating in South Korea. She only provides information to her British source, now we know as Roland Churchill, current chief of MI6 and Isabella's uncle. Roland Churchill is a descendant of Winston Churchill."
"What about Dimitri Castellanos?"
"He's the son of Antonio." Julia said. "I understand her need to keep this a secret, it's useful and compromising at the same time."
"Do we have any sightings?" he asked.
"The Gulfstream you mentioned never showed up again." Kate said. "I think they're still in England, but just don't know where they are."

Mage Among Superheroes
Turlough is a mage. He also happens to be an orc, generally lauded as being less intelligent than humans. He was unfortunately born with the Curse of the Barbarian, meaning that he can’t level up except through combat- which greatly hinders his ability to show he can be a proper mage. In a world with necromancers, dragons, invading armies, and all sorts of other monsters he would still be able to advance quickly, but unfortuantely… that world is not his world. An unprecedented peace reigns across the land, and in the last several decades there’s been little use for people capable of fighting- and thus little reason for people to fight him. So when he sees a portal in his master’s study he takes it, hoping to find a horde of demons or something equally foolish to combat at low level. But instead he ends up in a strange city full of skyscrapers and people running around in colorful outfits. Superheroes- and of course supervillains as well. What dangers and opportunities could await him in such a strange and unfamiliar world? Only time will tell. Inspired by many things in the superhero genre, and Super Minion specifically- though while the setting will share some standard elements, it is an original setting that will hopefully be as engaging as many of the other universes. Schedule: One chapter each Monday/Thursday, approx. 2000 words.

Shieldmaiden: Unbroken
An instant is all that's needed to change a persons life. A single encounter. A single desire can bring together many people to change the world. One thought. From the moment humanity began its course of self-destruction, there were those who desired to change the world for the better. To stop the harm to their planet, and themselves, a group of people came together and formed a world from their imaginations. They decided that humanity could not be a part of the world they would destroy, and would allow the world to recoup. They would pull the people from their world in groups, and until everyone was gone, every month more people would be brought to this new world. An unfamiliar world. An unfamiliar people. An unfamiliar system. I never expected to write a LITRPG, or an Isekai, and I'm not confident I can do it well, but I liked writing the first chapters, so I'm gonna try my best! Also, I don't recommend reading it on mobile.
