I slowly opened my eyes and met a bright light causing me to close them again, I shielded my eyes with my hand and opened them again, until they finally came to focus

I dropped my hand and looked around

"AHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed at the top of my lungs jumping up from the bed

A pain shot through my head at the quick motion and I cursed loudly

"OH MY GOD LEAVE ME ALONE YOU STUPID GHOST, STOP HAUNTING MY DREAMS AND REALITY" I screamed again at the ghost of my mother that was seated next to my bed

Hands caught me from behind and I jumped in fear, turning around only to meet Luca

"Adriana oh my god stop screaming and protesting! It's REAL!" He shouted

"Ouch stop shouting my head hurts, ugh what happened.. This is some sort of déjà vu I swear.. Or I'm going insane... Oh my god or am I insane? Where am I? In an asylum?!!" I started to freak out

"No. Can you just sit down and let us explain" he said and I looked at him as if he was the insane one

"Who do you mean by us? You can also see ghosts too?" I turned to look at my fake ghostly mother

"Alright that's it! Stop calling me fake I'm very real" she stood up and I backed away hitting luca's strong chest

Then I felt myself being lifted and was placed on the bed

"Adriana... What happened earlier wasn't a dream, you blacked out, and fainted due to the shocker, but just shut up for a moment and listen to us" he said and I just nodded, giving in

"Adriana, mi hija, I'm so sor-" she started speaking again and I cut her off by screaming

"WHAT THE FUCK IT IS REAL I CAN HEAR HER CLEARLY"

"I told you to calm down and listen to us okay?! Stop screaming or else they'll take you to an asylum" Luca said and I swallowed the lump in my throat and just nodded weakly

"Mi hija... You don't know for how long I have been searching for you, I thought I lost you forever, I tried to track you down a several times but it didn't work, After that party, you know Noah was the one responsible for the sinking of the ship? Well I made it out alive and was searching for you, when Noah found out I was spreading news everywhere looking for you he contacted me, told me you were with him and if I ever try to search for you he's going to kill me then kill you, he took away everything I own, he bought my company and even my boyfriend! Ernesto started working with him for money, he left me with nothing but our house..." She stopped to take a breath, her eyes were teary, she never spoke with such sympathy and honesty, she was being so pure meanwhile I felt my blood boiling

"I kept trying to contact you but it never worked... Until a month ago, I got a call from Luca saying he knows you and he knows everything that Noah did and wants to reunite us, I broke out in tears and thanked the lord for finally giving you back to me after all these months of restless nights and searches" this time tears were streaming down her cheeks, it took me a minute to comprehend all what she said and I jumped up and wrapped my arms around her and let my tears finally fall

"I love you so much I'm so sorry for everything I know I was a terrible mother" she whispered and I just didn't say anything

I was too stunned to say anything

Who would've thought?

I actually missed her, sure she was terrible but not as terrible as I had thought

She didn't leave me to die that night

And that "will" of hers was fake...

I thought my mother was the worst but it turned out nobody is worse than Noah Massarotti

I can't believe I fell for him, I'm so utterly disgusted

He went too far, I don't f*cking care if he's in a mafia, I don't give one flying f*ck, I am going to avenge

I will avenge for all the crap he put me through

I will avenge for all the lies he made me believe

I will avenge for the fact that he ruined me and my life

I will avenge for my mother

And he doesn't know what's coming his way

"I missed you" I whispered to my mom softly and she sniffed "I missed you even more I'm so happy I can't believe this, and it's all thanks to Luca" she smiled and I looked up at him and smiled

"Thank you so much Luca.. For everything. You saved me from Noah, you gave me a house, a job and now you gave me my mother back, I'm sorry for being a b*tch" I said honestly

"Adriana there's no need to thank me for anything, I really care about you and wanted what's best for you... I knew my cousin best, and I knew you were too precious to be in the same house with him.. I still can't believe you attempted suicide because or that douche"

"Can we please not talk about me... But thank you I really appreciate it. But now Luca I need your help more than anything, I want to avenge, or else I won't rest. I need to ruin him, destroy his life just like he destroyed mine"

"Oh.. I think I know the perfect way to do that" he smirked and I smirked back

I will destroy his life

Leave him with nothing just like he left me with nothing

I swear Adriana has no more sympathy towards that man... That creature, I have pure hatred and disgust

"Also I have great news baby! I'm now a partner in Luca's company! Can you believe this?! We will start building back our life" mom smiled and I couldn't help but smile back

"That's amazing!! Damn Luca you're a hero, how can I ever repay you?" I stood up and wrapped my arms tightly around him, he hugged me back and lifted me up

"You don't have to repay me, I told you. I love you" he said and my heart jumped a beat, he started putting me down but I protested and smacked my lips to his, wrapping my legs around his waist, he kissed me back passionately, until we were out of breath, we pulled away and he put me down, kissing my forehead

"Adriana... You're so beautiful" he whispered and i blushed

"Look at you Adriana! I didn't know you had Luca wrapped around your finger" mom said and we both turned around and laughed

"Your daughter is simply stunning"

"Aww stop it you both" I said, my cheeks were heated and I bet they were Crimson red

"I'm feeling so much better, and also I feel like killing a specific someone, but I don't want to go to jail so tell me Luca, you said you had the perfect plan to ruin Noah no?" I went and sat next to mother

"Ah that.. Well. First of all, I have a plan that could get you back on the top, that is back as a millionaire, billionaire even, it would give you the power, and take something Noah wants so bad that would've lifted him to becoming number one business man, but you my carina can take that away, we both can" he started

"And how is that?" I said, very interested in what he had to say next

"I'll tell you what, let's head down to the cafeteria and discuss this over a cup of coffee"

"That would be great because my head still hurts and I need to focus on what you have to say" I said and stood up

"Just give me a moment, I need to... Pee" i said disappearing into the bathroom

I cringed at the reflection staring at me, my eyes were diluted of their sparkle, I had big black bags camping under my eyes, my hair was all greasy and my face was drained for its natural Color

But hey at least I'm alive

I ran my fingers through my hair, trying to fix it then splashed cold water on my face and stared back at my reflection

"I will get stronger, I will make him regret, I will end him, no more tears, no more pain, I'm not weak anymore." I said to my own reflection

I ended up like this because of him

Everything terrible was because of him

And now I will give him a taste of his own disease.

I dried my face and smiled to myself

I will start fresh this time

I left the bathroom and saw Luca already at the door with my mom, they were whispering something but I couldn't hear them, then they stopped as I neared them and looked at me

"Shall we?" He said smiling

"We shall" I smiled back and we opened the door

Just as we turned leaving the hallway, my body crashed into something, or more specifically someone

"I'm so sor- what the f*ckkk are you doing here oh my god" my eyes met his, the one who destroyed me, the one who I was out to end and I felt a sudden adrenaline rush

"Noah what the f*ck brought you here haven't you done enough?" Luca started and was ready to attack him

He looked mortified to say the least

"What the hell Adriana what are you doing with him?" Noah said completely ignoring Luca, his eyes then went back to my side and he spotted my mom

His eyes went dark and his jaw ticked "YOU, you disgusting putana, you came here to collect your money?" Noah spat and it was enough, I had enough

"STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME YOU DISGUSTING FILTHY LIAR, YOU RUINED MY LIFE AND GUESS WHAT? I WILL RUIN YOURS" I screamed at the top of my lungs and was ready to attack him but Luca caught me holding me back from him

"I see they've already managed to brainwash you, what the f*ck did they tell you huh?"

"the f*cking truth, f*ck you, I hate you so much stay away from me don't ever come to me or contact me or look at me or contact anyone I know or even breathe the same air as me, you hear me? You're over Noah, I will end you"

"WHAT LIES DID THEY FEED YOU? YOU BELIEVE THOSE TWO?!" He roared, I have seen a furious Noah before, but never this furious

And it was satisfying to see him like this

I only now realized what commotion we were creating and noticed guards rushing behind Noah

"Stop talking all you say is complete bullshit, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Now leave" I said with pure hatred

"LUCA I SWEAR I WILL KILL YOU FOR PLAYING HER LIKE THAT, I WILL MAKE YOU REGRET EVER SPEAKING TO HER" Noah kept shouting as three guards were dragging him away

"Let's go Adriana you don't need to see this" mom said and I nodded weakly, just as we took one more step I noticed something on the floor, a big bouquet of red roses, "hah" i said and grabbed them before Noah could disappear behind the hallway and threw them at him "HERE TAKE YOUR FLOWERS AND IF YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING TO KILL LUCA KNOW WE'LL KILL YOU FIRST" I wailed and felt like a huge weight was off my chest

Letting that out felt good, especially after seeing the look on Noah's face

"Adriana lets go... We have caused enough trouble" Luca said and started dragging me with him towards the elevators

I'm so ready to make the deal with Luca and destroy Noah
