《Pink and Yellow - Trimberly》Chapter 17

We stayed silent for quite a while waiting for another doctor to appear. I had no clue what I was supposed to do or say. I felt like I wasn't able to think properly, yet I had so many questions. Where do we stand? Who have all hurt Trini? Why couldn't she tell me?
"Do you want us to leave you guys alone?" The Blue Ranger asked softly.
"-No-"
"-Yes-"
The Latina and I shared a glance. She suddenly became interested in her nails shortly after. I wanted to talk to her. I needed to. But she doesn't feel the same. Fear of awkwardness? Fear of rejection? I can never tell with her.
The three boys stood up and slowly made their way to do the door to give us some privacy. Once Zack and Billy left the room, Jason turned around and gave us a small smile before following the two Rangers. That left the Latina and I alone with the incredibly uncomfortable silence. After a few minutes, I took a deep breath and decided to speak.
"Trini, listen I-"
"-We shouldn't do this."
"I'm sorry?"
"We shouldn't do this." She repeated. "Us."
"Us? What are you talking about."
"I don't really understand what is happening between us, trust me. But whatever it is, it needs to stop."
"But there's nothing going on."
The Yellow Ranger rolled her eyes. "C'mon, Kim, are you blind? T-the cuddling, sharing the same bed, and kissing? I don't know how it got this far but I want to stop it before anything else."
"Why?"
"Why? Because it's just not going work."
"How do you know that, Trini?"
"How do you know that it will?"
"I don't." I said trying to keep calm. "But I want to take that chance."
"Why? Just, why do you want me? Didn't Derrick tell you everything? Aren't you supposed to think I'm a freak now?" Her voice held anger and pain.

"Yes, he told me a bit but not everything. I wish I could've heard it from you, though. And no, I don't think you're a freak. I couldn't ever think that."
She scoffed. "You haven even heard the rest of it."
"So tell me."
"Why?"
"I want you to be open with me. You can trust me."
"Kimberly, I'm closed off with everyone. I don't tell anyone anything. So, don't take it personal, you're not any different."
"What if I want to be."
"Excuse me?"
"What if I want to be different to you? I do want you to tell me things and i want you to trust me. I don't want to be like everyone else."
"You're impossible! How can you keep on being so kind to me when all I've caused is trouble?"
"You should know the answer to that."
"I don't and I don't want to know."
The doctor came in followed by the other Rangers. She sat on the same stool in between us and began asking us questions. It was difficult to answer due to our memory loss but we tried our best.
All I could think about was my conversation with Trini. I hope she didn't think it was over. She sure as hell isn't going to block me off again and run away. I won't let her.
"Ok, I am finished and will send Derrick back in. When you are done with him, you'll be free to go." The woman smiled and left.
"Are you guys ok?"
"We're fine, Jason." Trini snapped.
"Trini..." I began.
"What, Kimberly?" She challenged. "I'm perfectly fine."
"Stop lying to yourself."
"I'm not lying to anyone."
"Alright, Crazy Girl, you need to chill for a sec. How's you're head?"
"It's fine, Zack, really. Everything is fine."
"Please stop using 'fine'."
"Why not?"
"Just... Please."
"Ok, then. I am perfectly a-o-kay." She said sarcastically.

"Trini-"
"-Kimberly."
I sighed. "Truth or Dare?"
She shot me a confused and annoyed look but cooperated anyway. "Dare."
"Whipped..." Zack whispered which earned a kick in the shin from Jason.
"I dare you to say whatever is on your mind."
"Ok, fine." She growled. "Zack, shut the fuck up, I heard that. And Kimberly, shut the fuck up, you're annoying the living shit out of me."
"Well, then." The Black Ranger leaned back in his seat.
"You know what? Kimberly, truth or dare?" She asked with a smirk.
"Dare."
"I dare you to do whatever is on your mind."
I hesitated for a moment, debating wether or not I should actually do this. Should I do this just because? Or to prove something to the Yellow Ranger? I'm so pissed off at her right now. Maybe that's a good thing.
I lifted the sheets off my body and swung my legs over to the side. I looked down and saw what I was wearing. I had the same clothes when Zack and I were at Krispy Kreme. Only, they were a bit ripped and had blood stains on them. I don't think the blood is mine...
I stood up with extreme pain but tried my best not to show it. I calmly walked over to Trini's bed and paused to look at her. She looked at me back with a confused but angry glare. I raised an eyebrow and leaned down. I cupped her jaw with my palm and captured her lips in mine in a rough kiss. It took her a second to process what was happening before she started to reciprocate. This made me smirk and pull away, our lips barely touching.
She leaned forward and tried to kiss me but I softly pushed her back down on the bed with a smirk never leaving my face. I was teasing her and she knew this, of course. I guess all of what she said earlier didn't mean anything. I knew the affect I had on her. I knew she was stubborn but not enough to refuse a kiss from me.
"You're so annoying." She husked out, her hot breath hitting my lips.
"You love it."
"Never said that."
"So... You said this kissing needs to stop, huh?"
"I'm not the one who initiated it."
"What I'm getting from this is only I'm allowed to start the kiss?"
"I never said that either." She whispers before grabbing me by the collar and pulling me to close the gap.
My thumb caressed her cheek and the scar she recently got. Her tongue swiped across my bottom lip asking for entrance. When I didn't accept, she pulled away only to kiss and bite down on a spot below my jaw causing me gasp. She took this opportunity to slide her tongue in and explore every bit of my mouth.
We would've kept going. That is until a deep husky voice purposefully cleared his throat making us both pull away. Derrick.
I returned to my own bed and looked at the other three boys who we forgot were still present. All of their jaws have gone slack. I saw Derrick approach the Black Ranger and whisper something in his ear. This made Zack's jaw drop further which I didn't think was possible. I glance over at Trini and she's biting her bottom lip and staring at me. When she sees me, she raises an eyebrow, smirks, and looks away.
"Alrighty, then." Derrick began obviously trying to hold in laughter. "First of all, Trini, did you finally build up the courage to kiss her?"
"Oh, shut up, Derrick." She rolled her eyes playfully.
"Yeah." I chuckled. "This isn't the first time." I look at Trini and she's glaring daggers at me.
"You two have kissed before?" He frowns. "And why have you not told me?"
She shrugged. "Never came up, I guess."
"Whipped as fuck, Trini." He grins.
"That's exactly what I say!" Zack says almost yelling.
"Yep... I guess I am."
