*Ariana's POV*
"Okay now it's time for you to open your gift." Alex smiled at me.
"I got you one too." I smiled at him.
"Babe, you didn't have to get me anything." He said.
"And you didn't have to get me anything, but you did." I laughed.
"Well I'm supposed to spoil my girl, aren't I?" He had that perfect grin on his face.
"And I'm supposed to spoil my man." I smiled.
"Alright you make a good point." He laughed. We then exchanged gifts.
"Open yours first." I told him. He smiled and opened the small box that I had given him. He smiled when he saw what I got him.
"It's perfect, princess." He smiled. "Thank you so much." He thanked me. I got him a silver watch. He then put it on his wrist. "It fits perfectly." He told me. "Okay, now your turn."
I opened the small box that he gave me and smiled. He got me a charm bracelet.
"It's one of those Pandora Bracelets." He told me. I looked at the charms and smiled. The charms are two A charms, a tiara, a heart and a cowboy hat.
"Thank you so much, Alex." I smiled at him. "It's amazing." We both stood up from our table and hugged. We gave each other a quick kiss. Believe me, if we were at his apartment or somewhere less private, we would've kissed longer.
"I love you." He whispered in my ear as we hugged again.
"I love you more." I whispered back to him. We then sat back down in our seats at our table and continued eating our dessert.
"We've never really talked about this, but what do you want to do after high school?" He asked me.
"I'd like to be a lawyer, but that takes seven years." I said.
"It would be worth it in the end though." He said.
"I know, but I don't know if I would want to spend that many years in college." I sighed.
"Where do you want to go to college?" He asked me.
"UCLA." I've always wanted to go there. It's my dream college.
"Well I'll be with you every step of the way." He smiled.
"I know you will." I smiled at him. I love this man so much.
"Alright princess, shall we leave?" He asked me.
"I think we shall." I smiled. We stood up from our table, linked arms and then left the restaurant.
"Do you wanna come over and watch a movie or something?" He asked me.
"Sure." I smiled. "Can I use your phone to text my Dad?" My Dad would kill me if I didn't tell him I was going to Alex's.
"Actually I kind of planned this ahead, so he already knows." He said.
"Oh." I laughed. "And what would you do if I said no to coming over?" I smirked at him.
"I can be very convincing." He told me.
"And how would you convince me?" I smiled as he smirked at me. He leaned close to me and breathed on my ear.
"Like this." He whispered. He lightly kissed below my ear and then my jawline.

"I'm kind of regretting saying yes so quickly." I quietly laughed. He leaned away from me.
"There will be more later." He smiled.
"Oh really?" I smiled and raised one of my eyebrows.
"You know it, baby." He winked at me. I blushed and he started the car.
All I know is that we won't be paying attention to that movie.
*Justin's POV*
"Yes!" I jumped up and ran around the room. "I won! I won!" I chanted.
"Calm down, Justin. It's not that big of an accomplishment." Jimmy rolled his eyes at me.
"Excuse me James, but winning at Candyland is a big accomplishment to me." I said to him. That's right, I'm a thirty three year old man excited about winning at Candyland.
"Who's the one that picked this game?" JB sighed.
"Me." Jess sighed and raised her hand.
"Please remind us why you married him." JB laughed.
"I don't even know anymore." She laughed.
"Hey!" I gasped.
"Oh I remember!" She stood up and walked over to me. "I married him because he's my best friend and I love him. I can't imagine my life without this crazy man." She smiled at me.
"You're forgiven." I winked at her. I pulled her close to me and we kissed.
"Ew get a room." JB groaned. We pulled away from our kiss and Jess rolled her eyes at her younger brother.
"You'll be doing the same thing once we find you a girlfriend." I told him.
"You're going to find him a girlfriend?" Jess asked me. I nodded and she laughed. "Good luck with that."
"Hey!" He said.
"C'mon JB, you know it's true." She looked at me. "He has very specific things his future girlfriend has to be." She said.
"Dude you can't be picky." I told my brother in law.
"I'm not picky!" JB argued.
"Yes you are." Jess, Jon and Kim all said.
"Psh, whatever." He said.
"Jim, I think finding him a girlfriend is gonna be harder than we thought." I told my best friend.
"Sadly I think you're right." Jimmy sighed.
"I'll lower my standards a little." JB said.
"A little?" Jess raised her eyebrows at her brother. Man I love when she does that.
"Fine a lot." He sighed.
"I think I may just help you two find him a girlfriend." Jess said to Jimmy and I.
"Okay." I nodded.
"You two are gonna need a woman's opinion in this long process of getting him a girlfriend." She said.
"She's right." Jimmy nodded.
"Oh God, just what I need, Jess' opinion." JB rolled his eyes.
"You'll be thanking me at your wedding." Jess smiled at him.
"Uh don't you mean us?" I frowned.
"Sure." She said.
"Who says I want to get married?" He laughed.
"You don't want to get married?" We all asked him.
"No." He shook his head.
"But I want some nieces and nephews!" Jess pouted.
"I want some grandkids!" Kim said.
"Mom, we got that covered." Jess pointed to her and I, then her stomach.
"But we need someone to carry on the Biel name!" Kim said.

"Make Jess and Justin's kid have the last name Biel!" He said.
"No! It's having my last name!" I argued. I then pointed to Jess' stomach."This kid is gonna be a Timberlake." I said.
"But Biel is so much better." JB said.
"No it's not." I shook my head.
"It could have my last name." Jimmy laughed.
"Jimmy shut up." I said. Jess then smacked my arm.
"Ow!" I groaned
"Be nice!" She scolded me.
"Fine, Mom." I sighed and then smirked at her as she rolled her eyes at me.
"I'm not getting married." JB shook his head.
"Yeah we'll see." Jess scoffed.
"You aren't gonna let this go are you?" He sighed.
"Nope." She smiled. He sighed and rolled his eyes for like they hundredth time.
"Alright, who's up for another game of Candyland?" I asked them. Everyone groaned and I smiled. This is gonna be good.
*Ariana's POV*
About thirty minutes ago, Alex put on the movie 'Forrest Gump'. I think we all know that we aren't watching the movie, if you know what I mean.
Alex hovered over me as I laid down on the couch. Our lips moved in the perfect sync. I pulled away and smirked at him.
"No hickeys this time, right?" I asked him. He chuckled and playfully rolled his eyes.
"Nope." He leaned close to my ear. I could already feel his hot breath. "But I'm not making any promises." He whispered. I love when he whispers in my ear.
"Shut up and kiss me." I said. He then moved over to my lips and we kissed. I swear every time we kiss sparks fly everywhere.
"I love you so much." He told me in between kisses he left on my jawline.
"I love you more." I told him before lightly kissing his neck.
"God." I heard him say when I kissed his neck. "You drive me insane." He told me. "If only you were eighteen." He said. I pulled away and looked at him.
"Wait, are you talking about..?" I couldn't finish my sentence. He silently looked at me. I sat up and looked at him. I can't even give him what he wants.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that." He apologized to me.
"No, I should be sorry. I can't even give you what you want." I sighed.
"No, don't be sorry." He shook his head. "I don't need it. All I want is you." He reassured me.
"Alex, you're a man. You need it." I said.
"I can wait. For you I will wait." He told me.
"The day I turn eighteen?" I asked him.
"The night you turn eighteen." He corrected me. I blushed and smiled. "Now how about we watch this movie?" He asked me, using a southern accent since it is Forrest Gump.
"Sure, cowboy." I said with a southern accent. We both then faced the TV and he wrapped his arm around me while I leaned my head on his shoulder. He lightly kissed the side of my head.
"I love you so much. You have no idea how much I do." He told me. I looked up at him, touched his cheek with my hand and smiled.
"I love you so much, Alex. You're my everything." I told him. We kissed one last time before turning our attention to the movie.
*Two Hours Later*
"Good night, princess." Alex smiled at me. I stood with my back pressed against his car and he stood in front of me. His arms were around my waist and mine were resting on his shoulders.
"Good night, cowboy." I smiled at him. We then kissed and I went inside. There was no one insight. Where is everyone?
"There better not be any hickeys on you!" I heard someone yell. Dad ran down the stairs wearing only a pair of sweatpants, then Uncle JB followed him only a pair of basketball shorts.
"I'll kill him just like I said I would!" Uncle JB yelled. The two ran over and examined me.
"I don't see any hickeys." Dad Said.
"You're still a virgin right?" Uncle JB asked me.
"Uncle JB!" I gasped while Dad smacked him on the back of the head.
"Dude she's still a virgin!" He said. He then looked at me. "Right?"
"Yes Dad!" I said.
"Pinky promise?" He held out his pinky. I sighed and wrapped his pinky around mine.
"I pinky promise." I nodded.
"See!" Dad Said to Uncle JB.
"I was just making sure! Anything can happen!" He said.
"Well nothing is gonna happen! Right, Ariana?" Dad Said.
"Nothing will happen." I told him.
"She says that now." Uncle JB muttered. Oh my God!
"What was that, JB?" Dad glared at him.
"Nothing." He quickly said before quickly leaving us and going upstairs.
"Did you have a good time?" Dad asked me.
"Yeah." I smiled. "Thanks for letting him take me out."
"No problem." He smiled. "Nice Pandora bracelet. He get it for you?" Dad nodded towards me wrist.
"Yeah." I smiled and nodded.
"Did he like the watch?" He asked me.
"He loved it." I smiled.
"I'm glad." He smiled and nodded. "You do know that if you ever need to talk to Jess or me about certain things that might happen with Alex, right?" He asked me.
"Oh God, Dad." I sighed.
"What? I just want to make sure you know that you can always talk to Jess and I." He laughed.
"I know, Dad. I know." I told him.
"Okay, good." He nodded. "Just remember, if he breaks your heart tell me and I'll go kill him." He reminded me.
"I know Dad." I laughed.
"Just making sure!" He laughed.
"You'll be the first one I call." I smiled.
"I know." He nodded. He then held out his arms and smiled at me. "Come give your old man a hug." I laughed and we hugged.
"I love you, Dad." I told him as we hugged. He kissed the top of my head and hugged me a little tighter.
"I love you too, kid." He told me.

But the past is a murky thing; events are not always what they seem, and those who should be allies are frequently the greatest of enemies. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Image is not mine
8 160The Undead Revolution
This was my first attempt at writing a story, in hiatus indefinitely. This story follows Silvy, half-elf, a rare race despised by both humans and elves. Having never met her father, the first years of her life were spent together with her mother, who had to leave her native village because of the blasphemy she had committed by giving birth to Silvy. At the age of eight, Silvy became an orphan and was left to fend for herself. Her mother had died of illness, Silvy’s life turning upside down: the child went from living in a modest but cozy home with poor but daily meals to live outside the walls in the slums, where crime was commonplace and food was scarce. Luck had yet to abandon her completely though, because a group of orphans like Silvy decided to help, integrating her into their group and teaching the tricks of the trade; that is, stealing and swindling. But fate had not yet finished playing with her. Kidnapped and frightened, her life will turn upside down again when she awakens as undead, but still able to think clearly.
8 136The Guild
The world is broken. The apocalypse came and went, and only a fragment of humanity is left, scrambled into an unrecognizable mess. The remainders of the earth are filled with monsters from imagination and worse. Gates open periodically, leading to alien worlds, while dungeons form from damaged minds, creating nightmares for the unsuspecting. Some might see it as the end times. A hellscape. A story of humans pushed to their breaking points, desperately grasping for the last bits of humanity as the world crumbles around them. But a few might disagree. One man, in particular, sees opportunity. A chance. A path forward, to bring humanity from the depths of despair and turn it into a victory - a luxury. To remake the world even better than it was, dragging earth forward onto the galactic stage. It will require violence, lies, betrayals, magic, more violence, and the occasional genocide. But, hey. Everything worth doing is hard, right?
