*Ariana's POV*
It's been a week and Alex still hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend. He says he's planning how he's going to ask me. Whatever he's planning must be good.
Tonight we're having dinner at his apartment. I'm about to leave to go to his house in my car, but my Dad stopped me.
"Don't do anything tonight that you'll regret." He told me.
"Dad I'm not going to do anything." I said.
"I know. I'm just reminding you." He smiled. He lightly kissed my cheek. "Have fun, but not to much fun." I said.
"Really Dad?" I frowned.
"Really." He smiled.
"Bye." I laughed.
"Bye." He said. I walked to the garage and to my car. I got in and began my drive to Alex's apartment. I've been there before, so I remember how to get there.
When I got to his apartment I parked my car and went to knock on his door. Alex answered the door and smiled at me.
"Hey." He smiled.
"Hey." I smiled. He motioned for me to come inside and so I did. He shut the door and looked at me.
"Dinner is almost done." He told me.
"Okay." I smiled. "What are we having?" I asked him. He walked into the kitchen and I followed him.
"Chicken Parmesan." He answered me. I smelled the air in the kitchen and smiled. He was facing away from me as he was cooking on the stove. I went over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist.
"It smells amazing." I smiled as I hugged him from behind. He smiled and looked at me. He lightly kissed my forehead and continued to cook. I unwrapped my arms from his waist, went to his refrigerator and got a bottle of water.
"Can you get me one?" He asked me. I nodded and got him a bottle of water.
"Here." I said. He held out his hand and I tossed it to him.
"Thanks." He smiled.
"No problem." I smiled. I walked over to the counter behind Alex and sat on top of it. I watched him as he cooked. He was wearing a pair of jeans and a t shirt. The jeans made his ass look really good, if you know what I mean.
He glanced at me and smirked.
"You like what you see?" He smiled.
"I sure do." I smiled. He chuckled and continued to cook.
Soon dinner was ready and we sat at his table.

"This looks amazing Alex. Thank you so much." I smiled. He smiled at me and nodded.
"Anything for you." He winked at me. I smiled and we began to eat the dinner that he made.
"You are officially the best cook ever." I smiled.
"Maybe I should come a chef." He chuckled.
"I would pay for your food." I laughed.
"Well now I know to charge you!" He joked. I laughed and nodded.
"Name your price and I'll pay it." I smiled.
"How about for your payment to me, you answer a question?" He suggested.
"Alright." I nodded. "What's your question?" I smiled at him.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He smiled at me. I looked at him in shock. He just asked me to be his girlfriend!
"Yes." I smiled. He got out of his chair and walked over to mine. He held out his hand for me to grab and so I did. He pulled me up and we were standing close.
"I think it's time for our first kiss as a real couple." He smiled at me.
"So do I." I smiled. We slowly leaned in and kissed. After about five minutes, which seemed like forever we both pulled away. We both were breathless.
"I need a nickname now." He smiled at me.
"Come here, cowboy." I smiled. I pulled him close to me and we kissed again. He then pulled away.
"So I'm cowboy?" He smirked at me.
"Yes." I laughed.
"I like it." He smiled. "It's not everyday a princess falls in love with a cowboy. It's like we have a forbidden love." He laughed. I laughed at him.
"How do you always manage to make me laugh?" I smiled at him.
"It just comes naturally." He shrugged. He then smiled at me. "I love you so much." He said.
"I love you more." I smiled.
*Justin's POV*
"What do you think they're doing right now?" I asked my wife. We sat in the living room watching TV. Nancy, Jimmy and Winnie were on their way over. Nancy and Jess want to ask Ariana questions about her dinner with Alex.
"Who are you talking about?" Jess asked me.
"Ariana and Alex." I said. She looked at me and sighed.
"They're having dinner, Justin." She said.
"But they could be doing something more than that." I said.
"Justin stop. You can't constantly worry." She frowned.
"It's my job to worry." I smiled.

"I know, but not to much. Plus you already know how Ariana doesn't really like you worrying about her so much." She said.
"I know." I sighed.
"I'm sure they're just having dinner. Ariana is smart enough not to do anything and so is Alex." She said.
"I know Ariana is, but Alex I don't know. Alex is a guy." I said. "Guy's life motto is you gotta risk it to get the biscuit." I said with a southern accent.
"Did you just quote Chrisley Knows Best?" Jess frowned.
"Yes." I proudly said.
"You do realize that not all guys think like that?" She asked me.
"Yes they do." I said. "But my point is, all guys want is to get in a girl's pants." I said.
"Is that all you want?" She frowned at me.
"When I was a teenager, yes." I said. "But now I have you and I can get into your pants whenever I want." I grinned. She laughed and smiled at me. Then Jess suddenly looked at me with a nervous look on her face.
"Maybe we should be worried just a little bit." She frowned. "But let's not say anything to her. She'll think you're worrying to much." She said.
"Me? You're worrying too!" I said.
"Yes, but you are the one who goes overboard." She said.
"I do not go overboard." I frowned. The doorbell then rung.
"That's probably Jimmy and Nancy." Jess said. She then left to answer the door. She came back with our best friends and their daughter.
"Uncle Justin!" Winnie cheered. She ran and jumped into my lap.
"What's up munchkin?" I smiled.
"Where's Ariana?" She asked me.
"She's with Alex." I answered.
"But they aren't friends anymore." She frowned.
"They're friends again." I said. She then hopped off my lap.
"I'm going to play with my toys!" She said as she ran out of the room. She has her own playroom at our house.
Jimmy and Nancy sat down across from where Jess and I are sitting.
"Okay guys, does Justin go overboard with protecting and worrying about Ariana?" Jess asked Nancy and Jimmy.
"Yes." They both automatically answered.
"I do not!" I groaned.
"Justin you do." Jimmy nodded.
"Whatever." I shook my head. They all three laughed.
"He's worried that they're having sex right now." Jess told them.
"Well he should be worried, but remember Alex is eighteen. If they have sex he could go to jail because Ariana is still a minor. I'm pretty sure they won't do anything." Jimmy said. He's right! Yes!
"Now I am not worried at all." I smiled. They all laughed at me. Although I am still a little worried.
*Ariana's POV*
Alex was on top of me as we made out in his couch. He suddenly pulled away and took his shirt off.
"What are you doing?" I asked him. He didn't answer me though. He went straight for my neck and began kissing it.
"You're mine." He whispered in my ear. I closed my eyes as he kissed me.
"You're mine." I heard JC's voice echo threw my head. I gasped and pushed Alex off of me.
"Ariana! What's wrong?" Alex gasped. He looked at me with worry in his eyes. I sighed and shook my head.
"Can we stop?" I asked him. He nodded his head and put his shirt back on.
"Now are you going to tell me why you freaked out?" He asked me. Should I tell him? He is my boyfriend, he should know about this.
"Do you remember the press saying that my Dad cheated on Jess to protect me and that JC-" I couldn't finish my sentence. It was to hard to say the words in front of him.
"All of that was true, wasn't it." He said. I slowly nodded my head and felt a tear slide down my cheek. He hugged me tightly. "I'm so sorry, baby." He whispered to me. "If you want I can go kill him right now." He said.
"My Dad and my Uncle Jimmy already took care of that when it happened." I said. He laughed and nodded.
"Of course they did." He said. He then turned me to face him and he held my face in his hands. "I will protect you from anyone, okay? If anyone tries anything I will kill them." He said. He wiped away my tears. "If you ever need to talk, I'm here baby. I will always be here." He told me.
"Forever?" I asked him.
"Forever." He nodded. He lightly pressed his lips onto mine. "I love you so much, Ariana." He said.
"I love you more." I said.
I really do love him. I've never loved someone this much before in my life. It's nice to love someone. It feels good.

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.
