《Lost Without You (A Justin Timberlake FanFiction)》Chapter Eighteen

*Ariana's POV*
I sat across from Alex at our table. Dinner is amazing. The food is delicious and the view is to. No, I'm not talking about the view outside. I'm talking about Alex. I've never noticed how handsome he is until now. His perfect brown eyes, his perfect smile and his perfect hair. Everything about him is perfect.
"You like what you see?" Alex smirked at me. He must have noticed me staring at him. "Because I sure like what I see." He smiled. I blushed and looked down at my plate. A piano was being played softly in the restaurant.
"I do like what I see." I smiled at him.
"Good." He smiled and nodded.
The rest of our dinner went amazing. Alex paid for the both of us, but I told him not to. Of course he didn't listen to me.
"You're so stubborn." I muttered when the waiter walked away with his money.
"Thank you." He smiled. "I learn from the best." He nodded towards me.
"I am not stubborn!" I said.
"Oh but you are. You are the most stubborn person I have ever met." He told me. "But I love that about you. I think it's sexy when you're stubborn." He smiled. I blushed at the last part he said to me. "C'mon let's get out of here." He stood from his chair and I stood from mine. He then took my hand and led me out of the restaurant.
We then walked to his car and got in. The memory of what happened in this car at the park came back to me. At that moment at the park I wasn't ready, but for some reason I feel like I am.
"I have one more surprise and then I'll take you home." He smiled at me. I don't want this night to end. This has been the best night of my life.
He then drove us back to the park that we went to after our coffee.
"What are we doing here?" I asked him.
"Just follow me." He smiled. I got out of the car and followed him. We walked to the same bench were we sat the day we came here. On the bench was a blanket and a picnic basket.
"What is all of this?" I smiled.
"We were interrupted by the crazy moms when we were last here." He said. "Lucas helped me. He came and put everything here." He told me.
"Lucas is in town?" I smiled.
"Yeah. He and Hallie actually moved here shortly after I did." He said to me. Hallie is Lucas's wife.

"We'll have to go to lunch with them. I have seen them in forever." I said.
"Did you just ask me out on another date?" He asked me. He smiled at me.
"Maybe. You can make it whatever you want it to be." I smiled and winked at him when I said the last part.
"Good one." He chuckled. "Shall we sit?" He asked me with a British accent.
"Of course." I answered him using a British accent. Alex laid the blanket across the bench and I held the picnic basket. We then sat down and he took the basket from me
"Let's see what's in here." He smiled at me. He pulled out a container and gave it to me. He then pulled out a bottle of wine. "Okay I wasn't expecting that." He chucked. I laughed along with him. Then one glass came out with a note taped to it.
Don't get to tipsy. Justin will kill you both, especially Alex. Don't question the one wine glass. Hallie said it would be "romantic". I trust her opinion.
You're welcome.
-Lucas, the best man at your future wedding!
We both laughed when we read the note.
"People must really support our relationship." I laughed. "Lacy and Jess told me that we are going to get married one day." I smiled.
"One of these days, Princess. One of these days." He smiled at me. He wants to marry me one day?
"You want to marry me one day?" I smiled.
"Of course I do. I see a future with you. I know that one of these days we will get married, have kids and grow old together. One of these days we will, I just know it." He smiled.
I'm ready.
"I love you." I suddenly told him. He looked at me in shock. "I love you more than anything in this world. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me." I smiled at him. He smiled, put the picnic basket on the ground and held my face in his hands.
"I love you so much Ariana Justine Timberlake. You have no idea how much I do." He said to me. He lightly kissed my lips and then looked at me. We both sat there in silence, our faces inches apart. He then pressed his lips onto mine. I've never felt this much spark and passion in a kiss. Our lips moved in sync. It felt as though my world stopped when we kissed.
He then lightly rub his tongue against my lips begging for them to separate, and so they did. His hands rested on my waist and mine rested around his neck. We stayed like this for what seemed like forever.

He then pulled away, leaving us both breathless. We leaned our foreheads on each other's.
"I love you Alexander Joseph Queen." I whispered to him.
"I love you Ariana Justine Timberlake." He whispered back.
For the rest of our night we ate the cake, drank a little bit of wine and laughed.
Soon he drove me home. When we got to my house he walked me to the front door.
"Thank you so much for tonight." I smiled.
"Don't thank me yet." He smiled. He reached in his pocket and pulled out a small box. "I never got you a birthday present." He said to me. He gave me the box and I smiled at him.
"Alex you didn't have to get me anything. Tonight was enough." I told him.
"Just open the box." He smiled at me. I opened the box and gasped at what I saw.
"Alex it's perfect." I smiled at him. He got me a necklace with a locket shaped like a heart on the end. I opened the locket and it read 'You're my Princess, forever'.
"Here I'll put it on you." He smiled at me. I handed him the necklace, turned around and lifted my hair up so he could put the necklace on me. His hands touched my neck, sending chills up my spine and causing goosebumps to form on my skin. I closed me eyes as he put the necklace on me. "There you go." He whispered close to my ear. I turned back around and let my hair fall back down to my shoulders.
"Thank you Alex." I smiled at him.
"Happy birthday, Princess." He smiled at me. I then placed my hands on his chest and he put his hands around my waist. He scanned my body and looked at me in the eyes. "You're so beautiful." He said quietly. I blushed and smiled at him.
"Thank you Alex." I said.
"No need to thank me. I'm just stating the obvious." He smirked. I blushed again for like the hundredth time.
We kissed one last time before we said our goodbyes and I went inside. I shut the front door when I walked inside and leaned against it. I could hear Alex drive away in his car. I smiled and looked down at the necklace that rested on my chest.
"Someone looks happy." Someone said. I looked up and saw Jess and my Dad walking into the room.
"Well someone is." I smiled. They both smiled at me.
"Did you have a good time?" Jess smiled at me. I smiled and nodded.
"Yeah." I answered. My phone then viberated and I looked at it. I got a text from Alex.
Tomorrow I'm taking you to school and I'll pick you up. No ifs, ands or buts about it. After school we can go see a movie or something. Sound good?
I smiled down at my phone and texted him back.
Okay :) I still need a nickname for you! We can work on it tomorrow.
"She's texting Alex." Dad suddenly said. I looked up at my parents.
"How'd you know that?" I asked him
"You smile the brightest when you are either talking on the phone with him, texting or even talking to him in person." He explained to me.
"Well Alex is taking me to school and picking me up. Is that alright?" I smiled.
"Yeah." He nodded.
"Thanks." I smiled. "I'm going to bed good night." I told my parents.
"Good night." They both smiled at me. I then walked upstairs.
"I expect a full detailed story of your date with him to be told to me during breakfast tomorrow." Jess called. I laughed and looked at her from the top of the stairs.
"Sure Jess." I said. I then went to my room and got changed into a pair of sweatpants and a t shirt. I looked at my phone and saw that Alex texted me back.
Okay, Princess. You can nickname me whatever you please.
I smiled and texted him back.
Looks like we are going to have cute couple nicknames.
I'm pretty sure we're a couple. I mean we did say we loved each other.
But I haven't even asked you to be my girlfriend!
Well then ask me!
So ask me! Haha!
I sat on my bed and my phone viberated.
I have to wait for the right moment. Soon Princess. Just wait.
Soon? Like how soon? Tomorrow? I just want to call him my boyfriend. I want to be able to call him mine.
Alright, I'll wait. I'm going to bed. Good night, Alex :)
I then got out of my bed, turned off my bedroom light and got back under my bed's covers. My viberated and I looked at it.
See you tomorrow Princess. Good night, Ariana (:
I smiled and turned my phone off. I got the man that I love back and I couldn't be more happier.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
