"Jimin? Rosé? What are you two doing?"
(Promise Chapter 10)
All of them were shocked. "Oh, we just fell. We weren't doing anything" said Rosé, stuttering. The girls looked at Jimin. "Yeah, she tripped and fell" said Jimin with an embarrassed face. "Okay, I'm going back to my room" said Jimin.
As he closes the door, the girls started chattering. "He was your roommate?", "What were you two doing?", "He's the handsome guy you were talking about?". They were asking hundreds of questions. "Stop stop stop, slow down" said Rosé. They sat on the couch. "Turns out, he is my roommate. We weren't doing anything, I just fell and accidentally dragged him" she explains, the girls nodded. "Out of all the handsome men, why him?" Rosé pouts. "Jimin ssi is handsome too" said Lisa. "And hot" Jennie added, Jisoo chuckled. Jimin was listening from the door. He laughed softly when Jennie said hot.
The girls were drinking and watching a movie. Jimin came out of his room to eat food. He was eating in the kitchen. "Jimin ssi, you want some?" Jisoo offered some chips to Jimin. "Sure, thanks" Jimin accepted.
The girls were in the kitchen counter, chatting, and drinking. While Jimin was chilling at the couch. "Hey Chaeng, turn the TV off. I think Jimin fell asleep" said Jisoo. Rosé turned the TV off. She looked at Jimin.
Jimin fell asleep on the couch. "How is he so handsome while sleeping?" Rosé's thoughts. She slowly leans closer. "Chaeyoung, where's the bathroom?" Jennie calls her, Rosé leans back. "Oh, it's here" she walks away. Jimin opened his eyes and smiled.
Nighttime
The girls were still drinking. "You! Are SO cool!" Rose yelling. "Rose ssi! yOU are SO LOUD!" Jennie also yelling. "Girls, please. Stop yelling" begged Jisoo. Jennie, Rose, and Lisa got drunk after drinking. "Unni! I. am. NOT. drunk!" Lisa yelling at Jisoo. "I need some help".

Jisoo called Jimin for help. "Jimin ssi, I'll leave Chaeyoung to you. I'll call Jungkook for help too. Take care of her, bye!" said Jisoo in a rush while assisting Jennie and Lisa.
"You!" Rosé pointing at Jimin. "How could you be so pretty while sleeping? Ah! Not just sleeping. HOW ARE YOU PRETTY ALL THE TIME?" Rosé shouting, Jimin covers her mouth. "Shh! Stop shouting" Jimin whispering. Rosé layed her head on Jimin's shoulders. Jimin pats her back.
Meanwhile with Jisoo
"Hello Jungkook, are you busy right now? I really need some help here" Jisoo on a call with Jungkook.
"Not really. Why do you need some help?"
"I want you to take Lisa to our house. She and Jennie are pretty drunk right now. Jennie's apartment is a little far so I have to take her there. Can you take care if Lisa?"
"Sure, I'll be there"
"Thanks"
Jungkook arrived. He got out of the car and quickly helps Jisoo. "Thank god for your here" said Jisoo, panting. Jisoo placed Lisa's arm on Jungkook's shoulder, escorting Lisa. "Here's the key". Jungkook took the key. "There is tea in the kitchen, please make her some" said Jisoo, Jungkook nodded. "Unni~ let's go!" said drunk Jennie, "Okay, okay. Jungkook, I'll leave her to you. We'll be going now, Thanks a lot" Jisoo and Jennie entered the taxi. "No problem" Jungkook replied.
"Jungkook ssi" Lisa speaking slowly, Jungkook turned to her. "I. can't. walk" said Lisa. Jungkook was thinking of an idea.
"Ride on my back" said Jungkook, on his knees. Lisa did what he said. "Tell me when you feel like you're gonna puke, okay?". "Okay~".
While walking, Lisa gasps. Like she's about to puke. "Are you gonna puke? I'll put you down" Jungkook worrying. "Just kidding~" Lisa joking around, laughing. Jungkook smiled. Lisa made another sound, covering her mouth. "Nope, I won't fall for it again" said Jungkook. "It's real this time" said Lisa.

Jungkook almost put her down. "Just kidding!" Lisa tricked him again, she laughed. Jungkook smiles, "Why you.." Jungkook runs, teasing Lisa. They were both laughing.
Jungkook made tea for Lisa. "Here, drink this. Sober up" Jungkook gave the tea to Lisa. "Thank...you" said Lisa, she took a sip.
Lisa laid her head on the table. Jungkook slowly tilted his head while staring at Lisa. He smiles. But then Lisa wakes up, "The tea, I like...it" She drinks more tea. She stands up and sits on the couch, while Jungkook looks around. He saw some baby pictures.
Then, he saw something that looked familiar. He saw a picture of a young Lisa and a young boy. "That kid, he looks familiar" Jungkook's thoughts.
The lights were off and it was a little dark. Jungkook took the picture, he can't see the picture clearly. He looks closer...and closer.
But Lisa suddenly spoke. "Jungkook.." she whispered. Jungkook turned to her and puts the photo back. He sat beside Lisa.
Jungkook grabbed a pillow and a blanket. He placed the pillow under Lisa's head, and the blanket too.
Jungkook looked at her face, then stared at it. He slowly leans closer and closer..and closer, until both of their faces were very close.
He looks at her lips. Attempting to kiss her. But then, the door opened. Jungkook flinched. Both of their lips touched.
Jungkook quickly stands up and pretends as if nothing happened. "Oh, you're back" said Jungkook, still shook. "Yeah, sorry If I took too long. Are you two okay?". Jungkook nodded.
"Thanks for the help, jungkook" said Jisoo. "No problem. I'll go now, Hyung is looking for me" said Jungkook as he walks slowly to the door. "Okay, thanks again" said Jisoo, smiling. Jungkook nodded. As he shut the door, he touches his lips and smiled.
The next day
Lisa woke up. "My head kinda hurts" she said. She washed up and went to the kitchen. "Oh hi. Here, I made you coffee" said Jisoo, making breakfast. "Thanks. Who brought Jennie home yesterday?" Lisa asked. "Me" said Jisoo. Lisa's eyebrows raised. "Then who brought me home?" she asked, drinking the coffee. "Jungkook did" Jisoo replied.
Lisa coughs in shock. "Jungkook?". "Yeah, he took care of you last night" said Jisoo. "Oh I'm embarrassed" Lisa facepalms. Jisoo chuckles.
"But last night, I felt something touched my lips" said Lisa. "Maybe it was an insect" said Jisoo, chewing. "No, it was soft" said Lisa. They both shrugged.
Ms. Kim went back to work. But it was different. "Everyone listen. I see that all of you are doing great at your work. Our rates are going higher, and... I'm proud of you all" said Ms. Kim. Everyone was surprised. "Is Ms. Kim alright?" Jennie whispered. Ms. Kim hasn't said that for a long time, she was always bossy and cold. "I know, I know it's very surprising. Jungkook told me to be nicer and warm to everyone. Now, do your works" said Ms. Kim and walks away. "Yeah, I prefer the bossy Ms. Kim" Suha whispered to Lisa and Jennie, they chuckled.
A few moments later
"Lisa, Ms. Kim is calling you" Suha came out of the office. Lisa nodded and enters the office. "What is it, Ms. Kim?". "Lisa, you said you're good at taking pictures, right" said Ms. Kim, Lisa nodded. "Okay. We all know that Jungkook is a CEO now, right? And he asked me to help him find a photographer" said Ms. Kim
"He wants you to be the product photographer"
"Wait, me?"

Midara: Requiem
"When the alternative is extinction, all acts, no matter how heinous, are permitted." The story of a little necromancer who only wants to play with abominations against all that is holy dollies and her horsey, Mister Clackybones. Welcome to the novelization of one script I designed for a video game setting I call Midara (I selected the name of a genus of moths for symbolism purposes, not to be confused with anything else). Once upon a time, I dreamed of the setting being the next Final Fantasy. Long story short: Nope. Requiem itself is meant to be an Open-World RPG which adapts to the choices of the player. This is just one of many, many paths that one might follow in Requiem's gameplay, if it ever becomes a game.

Macabre Mim
*Note: This story is on hiatus. I intend to pick it up again, but the mood of my life has shifted for the time being and I'm going to be working on a side project for a bit.* What would you give to live the life of your dreams? What kind of deal would you make? And when you were there, forced to stare your dreams in the eye and live them every day, how long would it be... before they broke you? Author's note: This is my first excursion outside the realm of villain fan fiction and I welcome feedback. The thing I've loved most about RRL so far is the potential for writing to be an interactive experience with excited readers. That said, also, the primary genre this is intended for is the blossoming realm of LitRPG. Namely, a slice of life tale in the manner of Grimgar or Re:Zero. So, likewise, I don't expect there will ever be a clear beginning-middle-and-end type of pattern to this story. It will likewise always be a bit more of a reactionary, exploratory novel into realms unknown - much like the 1800 travel-novel theme used by Jules Verne. Or, at least, that is my ambition.

Amidst the games and politicking of Elder beings, the masses are unknowingly ensnared in plots and schemes that were centuries in the making. At the heart of the world’s workings lies the Tyreal Valley—a land that promises to fulfil the desires of those who seek it. As a haven for the truly strong, the path to this promise is paved more often than not in warfare and blood. To two young stragglers fighting for more than just their own fates, it is left as their only answer. But maybe that’s just what their enemies want. Magic system vaguely similar to GameLit ones (no system nor interface to help), with certain elements that are a bit more analogue. Politics, war, looming apocalypse, a tiny dash of kingdom building, and a minor bit of crafting. There is a bit of a progression element as well as both environmental and cultural exploration. The story follows two youths more directly influenced by aforementioned Elder beings than most. Neither lead cares for politics but certain situations force them into participating, forcing them to make decisions that shape their morality. Initially, the focus is on the male lead as he comes of age in an environment with little scope to change his future, only to be thrust into new circumstances that permanently kill some of his hopes. 3k words every chapter
