Yoongis thoughts went back to the events that happened earlier that evening and the look on Lisas face as she saw the boys helping a defenceless Jungkook out the main entrance, his bloody hands wrapped in a jacket as his cries drifted towards her ears.

She looked at Yoongi, her eyes upturned with worry and questions before looking at Jungkooks back, looking frail and tired as Jimin and V guided him out the door and way from her.

IU stood watching the scene before her with obvious disdain in her eyes, seemingly angry that Jungkook let himself fall apart over someone as unimportant as Lisa.

Yoongi could feel the hate that the older woman had towards Lisa and he saw the way IU's eyes ran over Lisas dishevelled hair and outfit down to her bare feet.

It angered him that the experienced idol thought so little of Lisa, someone who was as selfless as many other high ranking idols that he'd had the misfortune of crossing paths with, IU included.

She didn't have half as much class that Lisa possessed and Yoongi looked at her with the same manner that she had just shown Lisa, only Yoogi returned the favour with the coldest of glares that could melt an ice cap.

He did gain some sick kind of gratification when he saw IU shiver before stalking away from him but not before throwing one last glance at Lisa as he heard her utter "Stupid foreigner."

Yoongi was glad that Lisa didn't pay any attention to the older woman's obvious racist remark, he would've loved to tell her exactly where she could shove her words but one look at the tears pooling in Lisa's eyes was enough to make him think twice about doing so.

He took a step towards the young idol but stopped when Lisa turned to look at him, the heartbreak in her eyes was too obvious and before he could speak a word Lisa had quickly bowed and made a quick exit towards the back of the venue.

Her quiet steps left a trail of uneasiness behind her.

Yoongi's head looked out towards where Jungkook had exited then back to the direction Lisa had left. Two young people completely in love with each other, yet so far away from each other.

Sighing heavily and running a hand roughly through his hair he followed his members to their waiting van.

He knew Lisa would be the first to reach out and he had expected her to call anyways, so he was prepared for anything Lisa was going to ask. He just didn't expect her to want to see Jungkook rather than just ask about his well being after seeing him leave injured.

Not soon after Lisa hung up did Yoongi return to Jungkooks bedroom and quietly knock on the door, but to no reply. He knew that was nothing the younger man could do when it was Lisa and him alone, because everyone knew Lisa was afraid of being alone after the ghost stories of their dorm.

There was no way Jungkook would leave her alone in their dorm.

Turning from the door he walked towards his own to gather a few essentials for the impromptu night he was about to spend in the BigHits studios thanks to the maknaes, before returning to the lounge to wait for Lisas arrival.

If this is what it took for the young lovers to reconcile then Yoongi was all for helping them in any way he could.

The others were waiting for their own rides and looked up as he entered the dimly lit lounge, throwing his tired body beside V who sat unmoving on the largest couch. Lisa's favourite one that she often hogged on her dorm visits.

No one spoke as they looked at each other before their eyes flickered to the darkened hallway leading to their maknaes silent room.

"It is going to be one helluva long night." spoke Jimin with quiet concern etched into his eyes.

The dorm was dark and deathly quiet as Lisa sat alone in her bedroom, her eyes looking down at the pictures on her phone of herself and Jungkook at happier times.

Pre IU days, when she and Jungkook laughed and smiled far too much their members would tease them about wrinkles forming on the side of their eyes, but they didn't care, they just laughed harder.

Her tears hadn't stopped falling since she left the venue earlier that evening, and as much as Jisoo wanted to stay by her side, Lisa was adamant about being left alone.

She just wanted to wallow in her own self pity of the past few weeks, simply put she wanted to be left alone so that she could cry and let everything out without people consoling her because in all truthfulness, she only wanted him.

Her breath hitched as she thought back to the events that happened after their dance performance. She felt bad that she left JB to follow Yoongi, but the pull of JK and that something might be wrong was far too strong for her to ignore.

Lisa hadn't liked the look emanating from Yoongi's eyes when he gathered the few remaining hand phones that Jimin, Namjoon and V had left as they took off after Jungkook. She could tell from his body language that something had happened and she needed to know what.

She didn't expect to see Jungkook with bloodied hands being led out by his members, and it broke her heart to know that he was even there, watching her dance and with another man that wasn't him.

Lisa remembered that it was one of Jungkooks most hated things about being an idol, that he couldn't openly hold or love her without worrying about the gossip and hate that would be directed at Lisa rather than him.

Fandoms could be scary, possessive and somewhat need and Lisa knew that applied to many idol groups, most especially to Jungkooks beloved Armys.

She didn't care when IU threw the racist barb at her, she could get over that easily enough, she was used to it.

What she would never get used to is seeing Jungkook hurt, because she couldn't remember ever seeing him looking so broken and defeated, and she didn't like the way her heart had hurt because of it.

Lisa could sense Yoongi was about to approach her but she wasn't sure if she could talk to him without breaking down in public therefore causing more unnecessary gossip so she did the next best thing and quickly bowed to her favourite oppa before making a hasty retreat before he tried to follow her.

Wiping her eyes with the sleeve of one of his grey long sleeved carharrt tees that she loved to sleep in, she looked at the time and noted that it was still relatively early in the evening.

It was driving her insane not knowing if he was ok, and she badly wanted to see him with her own eyes to see that he was ok.

Ignoring the tight knots forming in her stomach her fingers moved and before she knew it Yoongi had answered the phone with a whisper.

He greeted her with his favourite nickname for her and she swallowed relief that he wasn't mad with her. Yoongi was easily her favourite just as she knew she was his, and Lisa respected him like the older brother that she never had.

She couldn't bear it if Yoongi was mad with her for whatever reason.

When he told her that he and the members were all going out for the night she suspected that they had known she would make a move and might want to contact any of them about their maknae.

Whatever the case, she'd learnt so much about herself and how much she was able to endure as a person and as a young woman in love.

It had slowly but surely become clear during her performance that even though Jungkook had envisioned IU as his ideal and even kissed the idol, where the moment was photographed then plastered all over the major news papers.

Even though the image was burned into her brain forever, deep down she still loved him. It was a fact that she had to learn to get used to because he had her hook line and sinker.

Lisa had asked him to sort his feelings out and maybe he had because she hadn't seen any new images of them being together since the first incident, but that didn't leave her anywhere because she had no answers and they weren't going to come to her if she didn't seek them out herself.

Grabbing a mask and cap she threw on a coat and headed out to wait for her cab, glad that her eonnies were out else they wouldn't hesitate to lock her in her room and throw away the key with Jisoo leading a lynch mob directly to the BTS dorm tearing down their door to throttle Jungkook while happily smiling like the Joker from Batman.

Before she left her bedroom her footsteps stopped by her dresser, her eyes looking at the necklace that had somehow made its way back into her life.

They had never admitted anything, but Lisa knew her members were responsible for cleaning it and leaving it within her eyesight as it sat atop the dresser, always afraid to move it.

She had always sought comfort from the jewellry knowing that Jungkook had chosen it for her.

The same comfort that she now needed and before she changed her mind she quickly moved to place the necklace into her pocket, the cold metal felt heavy for a small object but she couldn't think about that at the moment, she had somewhere to be and the item provided the strength she needed to move.

Lisa was lost in her thoughts when she heard the horn honking from the curb. Grasping her mask she pulled it higher and her cap lower as she entered the warmth of the car.

She was nervous but ready to face what waited at Jungkooks dorm and she gripped the necklace in her pocket.

Lisa stood outside their door hoping the floor wouldn't open to suck her into its dark vortex, but at the same time hoping it would open and take her because she was too afraid to knock on the door in case she came face to face with the anger of his members.

Throughout the entire cab ride Lisa had rehearsed what she was going to say to his members.

She respected the hard working young men, and it hurt her to think she was the cause of the whole mess which led to Jungkook leaving the event crying with bloodied hands, her eyes beginning to pool with tears.

The thought of Jungkook made everything she had rehearsed disappear in seconds as her small cold hands reached out to timidly knock on the door.

Her feet stood solid and unmoving, keeping her cemented to the spot even though she now felt like turning and running away like a scared little mouse before the door opened and before she knew it she was looking at Yoongi.

Yoongi stepped aside as Lisa tearfully thanked him with unspoken words.

"Munchkin......be careful, Jungkook......he's......just be careful ok?" Lisa could see the sadness and apprehension in Yoongi's eyes, and her stomach dropped.

This was not good.

As the boys filed out of the dorm her body began to shiver, her nerves were beginning to unravel as her feet shuffled in front of Jungkooks bedroom door.

Resting her forehead against the cold wooden board she laid her palms flat on the door. There wasn't a sound coming from inside and she'd wondered if Jungkook had fallen asleep.

Lisa knocked softly hoping that he really was asleep, giving her an excuse to turn around and scurry away like a frightened kitten, but she knew running away wasn't the answer.

Inhaling quietly her hand grasped the cold door handle and slowly opened the door wider, her head followed as she peeped behind the door, her eyes adjusting to the darkness of his room.

The small black bedside lamp casted a tiny glow in his room, almost invading the darkness he seemed to have sought.

She had never seen his room in complete disarray before. His clothes were strewn about the floor, his bed was bare as the bedsheets seemed to have been thrown across the room.

She leaned back against the door and heard it click as it closed behind her.

"I said leave me the fuck along hyung..."

It was when he spoke that she saw him sitting on the edge of the bed, his shoulders hunched and his back turned to her.

His voice sounded hoarse and Lisa's brows lifted in concern. Her eyes trained on his hunched posture and her heart sank at his muffled sniffles.

She slowly made her way towards him, her foot only just missed the broken photo frame that had a picture of her and Jungkook taken during one of their secret dates at a park in Busan.

It broke her heart to see it laying lonely and cold on the floor. There were tiny specks of blood on the glass and immediately her eyes returned to his back.

"I just want to be left alone......" she could hear the struggle in his voice as he continued.

"Please........" Lisa wanted nothing more but to hold him close at the sound of his broken plea.

She stood quiet at his side, her eyes no longer had the will to hold back as she cried at the sight before her.

Jungkooks hand was bandaged roughly, a crimson darkness the only telltale sign that his emotions had gotten the better of him.

Sitting grasped in his arms sat her bear; the one she'd intentionally left behind for him for times when they weren't able to see each other thanks to their gruelling schedules.

It gave her a very small window of hope but that was quickly overtaken by the teardrops she could see that were landing on his legs in large wet pools as his head hung low.

Lisa mustered all the strength and courage in her tiny frame and prayed that he wouldn't move away from her as she stepped in front of him and knelt between his legs.

Lisa watched with tear stained cheeks as Jungkooks sniffles quietened down and she knew at that moment he knew it was her and not Yoongi at his nose began to take quick sniffs.

It was a habit of his grown out of his love for her strawberry scented hair and skin.

Before he could raise his head and speak Lisa placed her palm flat against his jawline and raised his head. Her eyes slowly grazed across his face, taking in every detail including the scar on his cheek that she often traced with her finger.

She closed her eyes as she felt his own palm cupping her cheek, the tightness of his thumb wiping the stray tears falling from her eyes.

Her eyes and thumb plays across the pinkness of his lips that she loved to chew on when their make out sessions got a little heated.

They had never needed words to express how they felt, but rather they used their eyes and actions to convey their deep connection to each other.

As they held each other's gaze, Lisa heard Jungkook sob as he slowly and painfully pulled Lisa towards him engulfing her in his strong warm arms, his head tucked tightly into the crook of her neck and he sobbed like a broken man as Lisa held his shaking body.

Jungkooks arms embraced her so hard as if moulding her body to his and although it slightly hurt, she welcomed the pain as she felt his tears leave warm wet trails down her neck and back.

Lisa felt the "something" missing that had often gone unnamed in the time they had been separated.

Home.

She was there with him.

He could smell her before she spoke, and he knew Lisa was with him and she was holding him.

She touched him, he felt her fingers against his skin as she placed her palm on his face cupping his tear stained cheek.

He felt the way her fingers glided along his lower lip, her favourite chewing toy when their kisses turned heated.

He felt her tears and felt her warmth, he was sure of it just as sure he knew he wasn't dreaming, that she really was in his room, with him, together, not apart.

He saw the love that she had for him written in her eyes, she wore the same look of love that he had and he hated that he had caused her so much pain.

One thing he was sure of, that he needed Lisa like he needed air to breath.

Like a man starved of water in a dry hot desert he needed to feel her in his arms to believe that the mirage before him was no mirage at all.

With a slow painful purpose he slowly pulled her towards him, his heart beating erratically at her warm body, he held her close and tight.

Jungkook wove an arm around her waist to hold her still as his other held her by the back of her neck as he moved to hide himself within the crook of her neck letting his tears fall down towards her back.

He cried for all the times he was unable to hold her exactly how he was just then, and he cried for the way he doubted his love for her, for not realising until it was too late that all he ever needed was right in front of him all along.

More than anything, he cried for all the hurt that he had caused her, that he wasn't there to hold her when she needed him the most.

He hated himself because if anything happened to ever make Lisa stop loving him, deep down he knew he would survive a life without Lisa in it, and that hurt more than anything he could ever bear.

A life without Lisa.

Jimin walked into the room and apologised to the viewers before quickly shutting off the Vlive feed as he stared with pity at the lost and broken golden maknae of BTS.

"Where is she hyung?" Jungkook says, his voice broken and quiet.
