《Her Euphoria -Lizkook COMPLETED》Trouble

IU returned to her apartment feeling overwhelmed with frustration.
Her shoulders were tense and there was a simmering anger coiling within her body ever since she left the recording session with Jungkook.
Shucking off her heels she didn't bother wearing her indoor slippers as she stormed into the lounge slamming her phone onto the coffee table with a loud disturbing thud.
She was completely humiliated and did not appreciate being ignored by Jungkook as his hyung took what appeared to be great delight in making her feel like an intruder; a third wheel, as though she was unwanted company in a recording session that clearly had nothing to do with Yoongi in the first place.
Yet the short statured rapper sat beside Jungkook the entire time she was in the studio, and he had done a great job at deterring all his attention away from her, and she didn't like it.
IU did not like Yoongi at all. He was the hurdle to her plans, he was the intruder, not her and it didn't take a rocket scientist to see that the spitfire rapper of BTS harboured the same feelings towards her.
Throwing herself face first into the nearest couch she let out a muffled scream, her small hands balled into tiny fists as she pounded the soft cushions beneath her. Behind her tightly closed eyes she saw the sarcastic smirk of Min Yoongi as he raised an arm around Jungkooks shoulders, walking him out the studio building and away from her.
"Damn you Min Yoongi!!!" she screamed into the cushions.
"SSHHIIIITTTT!"
She could see Yoongi becoming the proverbial wall between herself and the object of her desire; Jungkook.
Punching the couch one last time she stood and quickly stalked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass from an overhead cupboard, slamming it down onto the benchtop with an echoing clink. Yanking the refrigerator door open she took out a bottle of water and poured it blindly into the glass not caring that most of it ended up on the bench.
The cold water did very little to ease the undercurrent of anger that was still coursing through her body. She would have to devise a plan to keep the two men apart, or better yet she would need to think of a plan that would leave little room for Yoongi's accompanying Jungkook.
It angered her that after glaring at her in an accusing manner, Yoongi proceeded to snub her at every opportunity he could in the studio, and that he thought it was necessary to suggest a few changes to the song Jungkook had decided upon, and it miffed her to no end that he could possibly return to future recordings.
His blatant lack of a farewell was the last straw and IU found herself having to restrain from hurling a few colourful words at his turned back, but thought it might be a bad idea with Jungkook in the same room.
So she did something she hadn't done in years when she had her first debut. She bit her tongue and withheld from saying anything other than a polite stiff smile as Yoongi led Jungkook out of the studio.

The younger man followed his lead with barely a decent farewell other than to promise he would call to make another date to record their back tracks. Jungkook himself might as well have just flicked her off without so much as a backward glance, that would've been a lot more acceptable than a thinly veiled farewell.
The simmering anger that was still coursing through her body was beginning to surface as the image of an exotic beauty with wide doe eyes and a Barbie like appearance popped into her head.
Without hesitation IU released an angry scream and violently hurled the glass against a wall, watching as it shattered onto the floor into multiple slivers of sharp jagged glass.
Great! She thought as the image of Lisa continued to smile at her with the innocence of a child, her eyes warm, friendly and inviting. She knew that if the Thai beauty didn't pose such a threat to her, they would be close friends, but as it was, Lisa is the biggest hurdle after Yoongi that IU knew she was going to have to deal with, even if it meant hearts would be broken.
Walking back into her lounge she pulled the Bear out of the drawer and promptly stomped into the kitchen and tossed it head first into the trash. For her, the bear was an extension of Lisa, she knew that was the only reason Jungkook was frantically looking for what he had unknowingly left behind.
For a few moments she huffed as she paced in front of the trashcan before retrieving the Bear and punching it a few times hoping to release some of the pent up anger still buzzing under her skin.
She placed the bear onto the coffee and sat back to glare at the inanimate object.
"I hate you." she growled as dark beady eyes silently glared back at her, taunting her in a way that made her want to grab a pair of scissors and cut into the darn thing until nothing remained but shredded pieces of fabric and padding.
Staring at Lisa's Bear with as much contempt as she could muster she grabbed it by the head and blindly threw it behind the couch as she made her way to the bathroom, intent on soaking away the unwanted tense drama of the day.
She needed a new strategy and she had hoped a warm bath would help ease her frazzled nerves allowing her to think of new ideas to attract Jungkooks attention away from whatever had occupied his thoughts the past few times she had seen him.

Jungkook spent the entire ride back to their dorm looking out the window as everything played out before his eyes like an old silent movie.
They were heading past Han River Park and the area filled him with coiled sadness. He had the same lingering thought every time they drove past it; that he shouldn't have gone there that fateful night weeks before.

He sighed heavily as he watched couples walking hand in hand as women clung to the arms of their partners like Koala bears, nudging closer in search of affection as their partners responded by dropping subtle kisses on top of their head.
Everyone appeared to be blissfully unaware of other couples or families around them as they enjoy the company of each other, soaking in the warmth of the afternoon sun and the light kiss of a breeze brushing their bodies, their mouths wide with smiles, laughter and eyes shimmering with love.
The van had come to a red light and stopped. He saw people sitting on blankets in the middle of parks, their legs stretched out before them as the other had their head laying on their laps.
He saw a young man playing with a little girl who had two little pigtails sitting atop her tiny head, seemingly laughing with glee as he playfully chased her while a young woman sat to the side watched with a content smile on her face.
The scenery was picturesque of the model family and it made him wonder if he was ever going to be lucky enough to run after a little girl with two little pigtails laughing with glee as he played tag with her. To watch her little feet take small fast strides to her mother, her little bangs running into her eyes.
The very same large doe eyes like her mother, allowing him to sweep her off her feet before tickling her tiny little ribs before she runs into the waiting arms of Lisa.
There it was.
The blinding truth that he had failed to see for so many months. It was an unconscious truth that cruelly stayed hidden because of his own blind arrogance to what was before him, of what he had but no longer did.
Lisa was his home, and for the sake of her happiness he let that home go to follow her wishes and to selfishly satisfy his curiosity.
He knew he should have fought harder and said no. He should have calmed Lisa's worried mind with words of love and reassurance that she was it for him. No one else.
Jungkook knew at that very moment that he didn't need to idolise IU or look her way at any given time because what he had with Lisa far outweighed any mere fantasy that he may have had with IU.
As the light turned green and the van drove past the young family, he continued to look back at them and watched as the group huddled around the little girl.
A sad smile curved onto his lips as the image of the family grew smaller and smaller.
Jungkooks imagination transcends itself into the fantasy of what their child would have looked like if he and Lisa were married one day and decided to start a family.
Would they have a boy, a girl or both? Would their little girls be as beautiful as Lisa packed full of charming wiles, and their boys be as wonderfully cute with toothy bunny smiles and moon crescent shaped eyes like him?
Jungkook closed his eyes and let his imagination run away.
He pictured Lisa in a hospital gown, her wet hair cascading around her pillow in a halo as she rests with soft gasping breaths. He reaches down and brushed her wet bangs to the side, wiping the beads of sweat with a dry flannel.
Lisa opens her eyes to smile at him with a tiny hint of fatigue written on her face.
He quietly watched as a small bundle wrapped in a pale pink blanket is placed in her right arm, and her face clears, all signs of a lengthy birthing disappeared replaced with a serenity of love. Jungkooks chest rises with pride as another small bundle in pale blue is carefully placed into her left arm.
Jungkook feels an overwhelming sense of happiness at the sight of his imaginary family. There is a peaceful warmth that starts in his chest, and the feeling is so powerful it threatens to make him buckle at the knees at the realisation of what he could have.
This was his home. His family.
His family with Lisa.
"Kookie."
"Honey, look at our babies." Lisa whispers, her voice belies the strength behind her words. She was tired, but smiling.
He watches as Lisa's eyes pool with tears, all the hard work of the labour, of bringing their children into the world are gone. Written on her face was the same feeling that Jungkook had; she was happy.
Lisa reaches out to him, her eyes filled with so much love and for the second time in his imagination, Jungkook is floored.
She forgave him?
"Jungkook?" He missed hearing her say his name
"Jungkook?" He missed her infectious laughter
"Jungkook...hey..." He missed her soul
"Kook....hey man, wake up." The voice was masculine.
It's not Lisa.
"Hey, are you ok?" He heard Suga ask, his normally stern voice masked with worry.
"You were crying in your sleep Kook."
"Was it Lisa?" Suga asked quietly
Jungkook wordlessly responded with a nod of his head as the tears from his imagination had manifested and continued to fall.
He knew what he had to do, and he knew it wasn't going to be easy, but he had to try because he wanted that fantasy, and he wanted it with Lisa.
