Ever since her breakup with Jungkook Lisa had thought long and hard about her relationship with him and often questioned whether leaving him was the right thing to do. Although their relationship was only known to a handful of people, they had an affinity with each other that seemed to transcend that of many other couples.

She missed him terribly and the natural draw they had to one another when they were apart. She knew in her heart that Jungkook felt every inch of the breakup just as much as she did and she still had not completely come to terms with his absence from her everyday life. But he readily accepted and took something from her that she had freely given him out of love.

Lisa grew up a carefree child, shielded from all the cruelties of the world and it wasn't until she had arrived in South Korea to begin her training that she realised how small her world was in Thailand. In Seoul she lived and breathed the life of a trainee along with her members, and her eyes were exposed to the harsh reality of the cut throat regime as every person was out for survival.

She saw many trainee hopefuls throw away friendships for the sake of advancing further and she had witnessed the heartbreak of those who were asked to leave after months or years of trying their best despite receiving praises.

There was an element of trust placed into each other to always be happy for those who passed assessments, and to leave with no regrets or ill feelings.

Lisa had learnt very early on that to protect herself from being disappointed it was best to lean on her closest of friends and to keep her circle small. That way there was little chance of her being hurt if she was asked to leave, or worse, if any of her members were told to leave. She trusted very few people since then and it had stayed that way ever since their debut because she didn't see the point of being an open book, leaving a small part of herself open to scrutiny and the judgement of those who knew nothing of her.

The boys of GOT7 had settled into a quiet nap when Lisa made herself comfortable in her seat. After requesting a blanket from the flight attendant and pulling her oversized fleece jacket over her small frame she too settled back to enjoy the still quiet of the plane as she looked out the small window into the darkness of the night sky. She imagined white puffs of soft dreamy clouds spread out beneath the plane like a soft mattress enticing her to close her eyes and dream of moon crescent eyes under a flop of hair, bunny teeth smiling at her as his eyes shone brightly into hers.

Bam and his members had done an excellent job of keeping her occupied that she hadn't once thought about Jungkook until now. But that is what life is like for her when it comes to him, he would be out of sight and mind and suddenly without warning he's in her head again, and it has always been that way.

Tiny droplets appear on her lashes as she thought about him and the trust she had placed in him. He took her tightly guarded trust, something that Lisa had always treasured and valued above all else and rather than move slowly to discover what he felt for IU, he went full throttle and kissed her.

He barely constrained himself long enough for Lisas sake, and she felt cheated that he didn't fight harder for her, for them. Yes, she broke up with him but, she wasn't expecting a kiss of all things, and more than anything she wished that she hadn't given so much of herself and her trust to him. She was frustrated and hurt that she didn't know what to expect and Lisa couldn't help but blame herself for Jungkook kissing her, but she knew that going backwards wasn't an option for her right now.

Her heart still hurt for him and she longed for him like an open wound threatening to tear itself open again to expose all it's ugly pain, but she didn't want to cry anymore. She had hid away in her bedroom long enough, she had to leave Korea to heal again, even if it was for a short break, she had to start healing in a place that felt secure, honest and loving; her homeland where her parents, family and friends were. The very people she trusted with her life, the same trust she had once placed in Jungkook.

Lisa opened her eyes as she felt a large warm hand covering hers in a reassuring grip. Wiping the tears she only just realised were pooling in her eyes, her lashes glistening, she bit her lower lip not wanting to let her seat companion see her weak again. Deep down inside Lisa didn't want him to see that more than anything, she wanted Jungkook to be the one covering her hand, his thumb rubbing circles into her palms like he used to do knowing it helped her to relax.

Leaving her hand under his she closed her eyes once again and saw the same moon crescent eyes smiling back at her. Lisa relaxed her body and allowed herself to fall into a fitful sleep, as she spent the last hour of the plane ride dreaming of Jungkook, his hand holding hers. Her last thoughts before sleep completely took hold were if she could ever trust a bunny smile again.

An hour later Lisa exited the plane with an enormous sense of relief. Being financially independent allowed her to return to Thailand as many times as she needed to recuperate, which was mostly after tours or vigorous schedules.

She knew she was blessed because so many people have strived for the same dreams as her, however many of them along the way over time had given up trying; but Lisa was far more vigilant than that. Her parents had always taught her to never give up trying until there was nothing left fighting for.

For the first time in a very long time she was looking forward to spending the next few days in the company of her family and friends without any schedules that often saw her spend her home time away from her loved ones.

She stood outside the doorway of the plane, at the top of the staircase and closed her eyes inhaling as deeply as she could, enjoying the feel of the cool heat warming her skin as her bangs spread out across her forehead as the small beads of sweat began to appear.

There was a renewed sense of purpose making her insides tingle with peace and acceptance, and at that moment everything became eerily silent around her. The background noise of people still in the aircraft behind her had also become silent, their bantering laughter all but appeared mute as she allowed the moment to last a little longer, and without warning everything was different.

There was a shift within her; gone was the heavy thoughts of Jungkook from the last hour, replaced by the gratefulness of new friends and the unending support and friendship of one. As her eyes remained closed her fingers began to tingle, and an undercurrent of something new began to course through her body as a sense of clarity gave her the peace she so desperately sought since the breakup.

This was her chance to do something for herself, a chance to do what so many others had always asked her to do for quite some time, even when she was still dating Jungkook. Family and friends had wanted Lisa to put herself first and to do something spontaneous without worrying about him or consequences. Had they seen something that she couldn't?

She never thought she had to put on a display in front of everyone before, she had always been herself, but maybe what she felt others could not see. Had she really given so much of herself to Jungkook and their failed relationship that she had lost a little bit of herself along the way?

Or maybe it was love that changed her and for the better? If not then what was the purpose of loving someone if not for the betterment of oneself she thought at that moment. With these thoughts churning in her head her hearing slowly returned as the others stood waiting patiently behind her during her moment of clarity.

"Um noona, can you like stop becoming one with the moths hovering around your mouth and move?" Bams sarcastic barb cuts through her mind as he tries his best to not laugh.

"If we need a bug spray I know where you live, I'm sure aunty and uncle won't mind making use of your bug deterrent skills either." he laughed as Lisa shot him playful death glares.

"Ha ha ha Bam, just so you know I can still whip your runty little ass, your height means nothing, short stuff." Lisa throws back, her eyes shining at their back and forth banter. She had missed the days where they could openly hangout and do normal things as friends rather than idols, without caring about the flash of cameras that often followed them.

"Yeah well, i'm still taller." Bam finished before playfully nudging Lisa to move as they held each other's gaze with wide open smiles.

"Slight technicalities you bean pole, now quit pushing before I headlock your ass into next year." Lisa loved baiting him because as much as Bam wanted to have the last word, Lisa was always quicker off the mark, her wit never failed her.

"Why can't you just let me have the last word noona?"

"Because LITTLE ONE, I'm the coolest."

"Man, just once." Bam jokingly shot back.

"Not any time soon buddy."

"See what I mean hyung? This is why we don't hang out, she's a bully." Bam jokingly complains to JB, his attempt at a sad aeygo was lost on JB as he and the boys exchanged amused glances between the two friends.

"Stop leaving yourself open and maybe you'll have a chance." Lisa couldn't help but laugh, she felt energised after landing and she couldn't stop the rush of happiness invading her senses.

They all but stop as Bam suddenly gasps looking down towards his crotch, looking for signs that his zip fly was exposed. His actions had them all in fits of laughter as they all realised the implications of Lisas words and Bams actions.

"OMG Bam! I didn't mean your pants." Lisa laughed as her friend's face relaxed into one of relief before turning a bright shade of red at the realisation of his own actions.

Bam once again was rendered silent at Lisa having the last word again. He couldn't be angry at her for laughing at him because this was a side of her that he had not seen in so long; her open genuine humour that had made them firm fast friends as children.

Throwing an arm around her shoulders he guided his noona towards the gate as his members followed behind them, their laughter and mocking drifted around them making her feel good that her decision to return home was one of the best decisions she had made in a long time and she was glad that she made the last minute decision to leave her handphone with Jisoo, completely free of any distractions.

For the second time that day, surrounded by her fellow idols and Bam, Lisa had forgotten about Jungkook.

Lisas parents were waiting with smiles as wide as the Indian Ocean plastered on their faces, her mother's tears already making their way down her face as she held onto Lisa with a firm hug. She always treasured Lisas visit home because during her trainee years, the visits home were non-existent and she found it particularly hard being away from her only child who was living in a completely foreign country. She was immensely proud of her daughter as was her husband who without waiting stood to the of the mother and daughter, his wide open arms easily encasing them in a bear hug. He was a man of few words, but she knew he felt the same at having Lisa home.

"Aunty, Uncle I have to go now, we are here for a quick business meeting. We will be back in a few months for a concert. I will send you tickets ok?" Bam says as he closes the boot of their car, JB stands to his side after helping Bam with Lisas luggage.

"Thankyou Bam, for looking after Lisa and coming home with her."

"We already had business here aunty, we happened to meet on the plane, but it's no problem." Bam murmurs into her hair as Lisa's mother grabs him for a quick hug.

"Noona, we'll catch up tomorrow ok? Let's go have real authentic Thai food."

"Hey, better idea, how about you all come over for lunch tomorrow. No better place to get real authentic homemade food than in our kitchen." Marco interjects.

"If you decline then we will decline the concert tickets." Lisa's father finishes knowing that her father enjoyed seeing people squirm under his straight faced playful nature.

"No no no, ok fine we'll come, right guys?" Bam turns eyeing his members into agreement as their agreed murmurs mirrored that of Bam. This family knew how to feed their guests and he knew without a doubt that he and his members were more than likely to roll out of the Manoban household instead of walking on their own two feet, and that Lisa was going to return to Seoul a few pounds heavier.

Lisa's mother watched the friendly exchange with mirth in her eyes; her husband was very cheeky but that was his charm, and Lisa had inherited her step father's quirk.

Feeling more than pleased with her husband she watched as the youngsters farewelled each other, however she noticed that the young man Bam had introduced to them as JB seemed to have farewelled Lisa a little longer than Bam as his eyes lingered on her.

Turning her eyes to Lisa she could see that her daughter was oblivious to the attention of the young man, and this itself piqued her curiosity as she noticed the unmistakable absence of the BTS maknae.

Where was Jungkook?
