"Jungkook-sshi? Are you ok?"
A look of surprise registered on his face as he continued to look at IU, her voice penetrating his troubled mind as he continued to stare at the young woman.
He knew he was being a little rude but he was beginning to question why she was there. Their scheduled meeting to discuss the performance wasn't due for a couple more days at least, and he needed to have a little more time to himself to let the breakup and scandal sink in. He was still feeling unsettled and his emotions at best were still all over the place.
He looked at her and tried to appear a little more engaged. He watched as her eyes were flighty making their way across his face, running across his brows and down to the stuffed toy held firmly in his grasp. He flinched slightly as he saw her reach out a hand to touch the honey coloured bear, and heard her chuckle at his apparent possessive behaviour of the item.
Slightly annoyed he ignores for a moment and glances down to the bear and silently asks the inanimate to make sure Lisa was ok that she was resting and eating well. He didn't know how he was going to fix the colossal screw up he had made of his relationship with Lisa.
He had no idea where to start because apart from feeling sorry for himself, he hadn't given it much thought having spent the better part of a week holed away in his bedroom, the thought of being around people being the furthest from his mind because every time he closed his eyes all he could see were a pair of large round eyes rimmed with thickly curled lashes.
His bedroom was the only room left in the dorm where the lingering smell of her favourite perfume remained, because as each day passed the aroma seemed to have faded, and that upset him.
Jungkook found himself at the point of desperation and refused to open his bedroom windows, he was desperate enough to try and contain her fragrance as long as he could. He knew he was being ridiculous but he didn't care, he was desperate because even the stuffed bear was losing its ability to retain the essence of Lisa.
Standing to his feet he walked to an open gym bag laying on the bench and pulled out a small purple cloth, gently placing the bear onto the fabric face up, pausing to affectionately scratch the tummy as two dark plastic eyes stared back at him, unmoving and uncaring.
Turning around to address his sudden guest he moved to conceal the bag from her vision, wanting to preserve the moment with Lisas stuffed toy. There were some things that he wanted to keep private and for himself only. Other than the bear and a ring that he still wore on the forefinger of his right hand that matched the necklace he had gifted her, they were the only two items he had left that were of great significance to him.
Lisa was meticulous in taking all her belongings when she left after their sleepover dates because she never wanted his members to think of her as being anything less than innocent, always opting to sleep with his bedroom door a few inches open.
His heart lurched as he saw IU looking at the open gym bag, her eyes not moving as if questioning why he was so careful with a toy; a stuffed teddy bear of all things. Plastering a forced smile onto his face he knew he had no choice but to deal with the repercussions of his actions, not just for his sake, but also for Lisa.

"Sorry, you're here."
His lack of greeting did not go unnoticed.
"Yes, I know you wanted to meet in a few days but I was free and I thought today would be a better time so...." her voice drifts off, not bethoring to complete her sentence as her eyes glance away from the bear and towards his own puzzled face.
Taking a step sideways to further conceal his bag and Lisa's bear from IUs view Jungkook decides to take the subtle route to avoid unnecessary drama.
"Oh, um no it's ok I guess. I was just working on a new dance routine. It's a little hard because the steps are new to us."
"New choreographer." he explains further unsure where to look as her eyes seem to bore into him.
"Oh really? I'm sure it will be amazing, you always are." Iu tried to sound as genuine as she could, however she couldn't help but wonder why he was being secretive over a stuffed toy, nor did she think he was the type to carry one around like a child who craves the security of a much loved blankie.
"Thankyou." he mumbled quietly looking at his feet. He had hoped she was being sincere as he saw her eyes drift yet again towards the bag behind him, and he didn't know what to make of her small but noticeable actions.
Jungkook knew he had a lot of fixing to do and decided that with a little effort he could push himself to at least be civil towards her, because he had so much to make for and part of that included apologising to the woman before him.
"About the other night, at the restaurant...I want to...I didn't..." he began before he found himself cut off mid sentence.
"No please let me go first. Please." she responded as quickly as she could. IU didn't want to hear the words that she knew he was going to say, not if she could help it.
"I know what you are going to say and let me say that I am sorry I kissed you back."
" I know you didn't mean for it to happen but it did and I am sorry that I kissed you back but," she paused hoping he could see and feel the sincerity of her words.
"But, I am also not sorry that we kissed." her voice taking on a softer tone as she pushed forward.
Taking a small step towards him she reaches out to timidly grasp his hands in hers. Feeling empowered at his lack of moment, that he didn't step away from her as she thought he would, she looked at him with as much emotion as her eyes would allow and continued.
"I like you Jungkook, I like you alot." her eyes drift down to his lips as she pauses.
"I like that you see me for me and not for who I am. I like that you listen to what I say without criticism and without judgement."
"But, what I like most about you is that you genuinely look interested in what I have to say. That you are looking at me and not through me." IU surprises even herself that she managed to sound passionate as she can. She has never had to be as emotionally open with anyone as she is right now with Jungkook.
"Thankyou for being like that. It is new to me to have someone look at me with open admiration and honesty in their eyes, like you do." she whispers, the rollercoaster of unfamiliar emotions wreaking havoc in her heart.

Jungkook for his part looked at her with something akin to pity and regret, noticing that her voice had turned into a whisper as she took another step forward. His stomach drops her fingers lace through his, her face inching closer to his and before he could move away he feels IUs lips against his.
It wasn't a lingering kiss, but more of one set of lips on that of another. There was no hunger or passion behind the kiss, nor was there love and it only lasted a few seconds at the most. But, behind his closed eyes all he could see were a pair of beautiful doe eyes looking back at him with so much love and affection that was quickly replaced with tears and what looked to be an immense amount of pain.
Jungkook quickly stepped back knocking into the bench seat behind him as his senses snapped back to full alert. This time she had initiated the sudden kiss and just as swiftly as it happened he heard the doors to the studio open with a resounding slam as another presence entered the quiet room.
"Jungkook, we have a meeting. Lets go." Yoongi says with a controlled voice, the simmering anger beneath his words were enough to melt an iceberg that spanned the size of Korea.
Jungkooks wide eyes turn to Yoongi, a look of wonder and confusion clearly masking his features.
"Now." Yoongi repeats, turning his heated gaze to IU he greets her with a quick nod before ushering Jungkook further.
"Hurry up."
"Ok let me just get my stuff." blindingly turned to gather his things Jungkook turns and quickly bows to IU, promising to meet in a few days to discuss the performance.
IU turns bowing and following their exit as they leave the studio, however it didn't escape her attention that the older male didn't so much as turn and say goodbye to her as Jungkook had and she was a little put off by the rude display.
From the corner of her eye she noticed something laying on the floor and turned to see what had caught her attention. There was a purple fabric covering something hidden underneath and she could she a fragment of a shaggy paw peeking from the edges of the fabric.
Bending down to pull back the edge of the soft purple fabric she saw what the lump was. Laying on it's side staring back at her was the honey coloured stuffed teddy bear that Jungkook had played adoringly with when she had walked in earlier.
Taking a hold of the items she stands and briefly thinks about calling him back to take what belonged to him, however when she looked down at the pair of dark plastic eyes she changed her mind thinking that maybe she should hold onto it.

As the boys went about their way having showers and Jin preparing dinner in the kitchen with the help of JHope, Yoongi pads out of his shared room and walks into the lounge throwing his tired and dance weary body onto the biggest bean bag they all favoured. He smiled to himself thinking he was the luckiest as they often fought over the large cushion.
Noticing the obvious he asked out aloud, "Where is Jungkookie?"
'He's still down in the studio. You want to go tell him to come back to shower and eat soon?" asks Jin.
Jin was more than worried that their maknae seemed more intent on shutting himself away rather than taking care of himself properly. Jin knew that if Lisa was around, her mother hen nature would take over and Jungkook would, as he always had, throw himself into Lisas lap and wait for her to feed him like the child he clearly wasn't.
Their display of affection often made the others jealous as the two young maknaes unknowingly finished each other's sentences, and the way they would automatically reach for each other when they had movie night.
Yoongi didn't mind Disney movies because Lisa treated every movie like a Karaoke session that always ended in a battle of wills between her and Jin as the two competed in impromptu competitions of who knew the most lyrics. He loved seeing his family like that, laughing and joking about. Lisa fit their life and her light was sorely missed by Yoongi and the others and if he were honest, he was worried for Jungkook.
The young man had almost turned into himself, not wanting to talk to any of them other than the odd sentence here or there. He had stopped watching movies with them and the only time he had spent more than 2 minutes with the rest of the group was dance practises. They had resorted to leaving dinner for him in the oven as he refused to leave his room.
With this in mind Yoongi pushes himself out of the beanbag heading out the door as he hears V and Jimin fighting over who had sat in the spot first that Yoongi had just vacated. He hissed knowing that he would have to fight for the beanbag again when he returned. It was his favourite napping spot outside of his room.
He had just exited the elevator when he saw a familiar figure enter the dance studio that Jungkook was still practising in and he wasted no time as he moved to observe who had entered the room. He knew it was her and he watched as she stood over Jungkook before crouching down beside him, lifting an arm to encase around his shoulders.
He watched as Jungkook lean into her arms, and feeling annoyanced at not just her but at him as well he raised his arm to the doors ready to barge into the studio, however he was also relieved that he didn't need to as he saw Jungkook turn and stare at her puzzled and confused.
Yoongi saw what Jungkook held in his hands, it was Lisa's bear. He knew all too well how much Jungkook was missing Lisa because they all felt the same loss. The usually happy zen of their dorm was missing something and it saddened Yoongi that it felt like a part of them was missing, lost or on temporary hold. It wasn't right and he didn't like it at all.
He scratched the back of his head with frustration as he watched their conversation unfold and when IU took a step towards Jungkook Yoongi was already on guard. He was ready to burst through the doors and break up what they were doing when he saw IU lean in to kiss Jungkook.
That was the moment Yoongi acted before thinking. He thought about all the times Jungkook had called IU his ideal, and it stayed like that for years and even up until recently. It angered him that she was there taking advantage of an obviously emotional Jungkook.
Without thinking twice about his actions Yoongi was beyond annoyed as he pushed the doors with so much force that they slammed into the walls. Jungkook had already taken a step back from her but Yoongi didn't give a shit as he growled out,
"Jungkook, we have a meeting. Lets go."
"Now." Yoongi repeats, nodding curtly to IU he hurried Jungkook along,
"Hurry up." wanting to get Jungkook as well as himself away from her.
Yoongi considered himself to be an excellent judge of character, after years of having people treating him like a nothing, he knew who was genuine and who wasn't. Lisa he had long ago known was as genuine as they came.
"Ok let me just get my stuff." he heard Jungkook respond quickly. Not caring that IU stood before them following Jungkook out with her gaze while bowing, Yoongi turned on his foot and exited the studio without so much as a goodbye to her.
There had always been a niggling voice in the back of his mind that sent warning signals whenever they had crossed paths. She was nice enough, but Yoongi knew to trust his instincts and he had stayed far away from her as much as possible. He was never one to bother with fake niceties.
Jungkook stood behind Yoongi as they waited for the elevator to descend, and it wasn't very long before Yoongi spoke.
"What the fuck was that about Jungkook?" feeling disappointed at what he had witnessed, Yoongi stood unmoving waiting for his maknaes answer.
"I didn't kiss her hyung, SHE kissed me. I didn't do anything." He could hear the tiredness in his voice, and he felt bad for cursing at him, but he had to know.
"Well you weren't pushing her away either." he continued, Yoongi couldn't help the snark that crept into his tone. Why was it always push and pull with his maknae he wondered.
"You know what? I am tired of everything." Jungkook replied stepping into the elevator as the doors opened.
"I know I screwed up. No, I fucked up I know that, everybody knows that and worse of all....Lisa knows that." he cries.
Yoongi was as hard as nails, but the soft spot he held for Lisa and Jungkook, those always won out over everything else. Their happiness was paramount to each other, but he knew that for lessons to be learnt, they often had to be learnt the hardest way possible; through gut wrenching pain.
"You don't think I don't know how much of a fuck up I am right now?" the passionate cries prompts Yoongi to turn, reaching out he grabs Jungkooks shoulder reassuring him that he was not alone.
"Everyday I miss her more and more. Everyday I think about what I've lost hyung and every day I can't stand to look at myself in the mirror because when I do all I see is someone horrible who treated the one thing that brought so much sunshine into his life like a fill in." Yoongi barely moves but listens as Jungkook continues.
"That's what I did hyung, Lisa said I treated her like a stand in girlfriend and you know what? Shes fucking right, that's exactly what I did and now....now all I have left is this ring and her teddy bear that she left behind." he said brokenly, bending to find the bear he had lovingly wrapped into a small purple blanket.
"No no no no no no no..."
"Where is it?!...."
"Hyung help me find it..." Jungkook frets, turning his gym bag upside down.
Keys, water bottle, t-shirt and extra pair of socks but no stuffed teddy bear.
With hurried purpose Jungkook slams the buttons on the panel as the elevator stops at the nearest floor. The doors had barely opened before Jungkook was running towards the stairs back down towards the dance studios.
Yoongi cussed as he was left to pick up the items, rushing back into the elevator heading back down to the dance studio where he knew Jungkook was headed. He remembered seeing him with the bear when he was with IU before he barged in.
Taking flight after the elevator had stopped, Yoongi ran into the dance studio to find Jungkook opening doors, under bench seats and checking everywhere possible in the empty room for something he knew was not there.
Lisas teddy bear was not there.
Neither was IU.
Yoongi isn't stupid. He knew exactly where it was and it infuriated him.

Lisa hadn't expected the flight home to be as enjoyable as it was.
As they settled into the flight Lisa leant over JB to grab a hold of Bam's hand, squeezing it firmly and smiling at the boy whom she had known since childhood. She had missed him terribly because their busy schedules left so little time for her to meet for a meal and she was happy that they were both going home on the same flight. Bam was the one person other than Jungkook who was a constant in her life.
Bam replied with a wink, and a remark that reminded her of all the times she was taller than him, before puberty took hold and suddenly she had become the squirt.
"Lisa noona, let's go home. You need to eat proper Thai food so you can catch up to me."
Her conversation with JB had started out slow with a lot of back and forward glances as they were forced to become accommodating to each other in the small space they now occupied for the next five hours.
Releasing Bams hand Lisa drew back and shyly apologised to JB, her arm had more than once brushed his own arm as she held onto Bams hand. She noticed his cheeks turn a warm shade of red as she spoke to him, she herself completely unaware of the effects her smile was having on him.

Lisa was animatedly speaking with Bam often changing between Thai, English and Korean which JB found highly amusing as Bam tried to match Lisas quick witty replies. He had to bite the insides of his mouth as Lisa remarks garnered the same reactions from the other GOT7 members.
Bam was getting a verbal smashing by someone smaller in stature but bigger in wit and he liked that Lisa was comfortable enough around him to let herself feel somewhat normal. He knew that it was largely due to Bam being in the seat next to him, but JB didn't mind being sandwiched between the two as they exchanged barbs.
He knew they couldn't outright laugh out loud without drawing attention, and he was grateful that the plane wasn't as full as they expected. It allowed them all to be a little more relaxed as they enjoyed the easy flow of conversation.
JB found himself staring at Lisa's smile when she found herself having to lean forward to tease Bam or exchange conversation with the others. He wondered if this was normal for Lisa, to be able to adjust so easily to people she wasn't familiar with.
