《Her Euphoria -Lizkook COMPLETED》Text

Jungkook left Han River Park with thoughts of Iu that had left him feeling above euphoric, and he couldn't believe his luck; that they happened across each other's path as though an invisible force had connected the non existent strings that had decided to bind them together. When she had shyly asked for his number he felt his heart jump in leaps and bounds almost threatening to burst from his chest as he silently watched her awkwardly nudge her right foot against a small rock waiting for him to take her phone from her outstretched hand. Slowly rubbing his sweaty palms on his jeans he tentatively accepted her mobile and entered his number, silently cursing his fingers for shaking nervously as he felt her eyes bore into him patiently waiting for him to hand back her phone.
Jungkook was just extending his hand to place her mobile into her palm when a dark figure jogged past them, the figure quickly shot them a knowing look before pulling up his mask and pulling his hoody down further to conceal his face. Jungkook turned back to Iu and smiled softly at her shyness as she took the mobile phone before placing both hands into the pockets of her jacket.
Shortly after they were saying their goodbyes, and he found himself turning around to further wave goodbye to her a few more times before heading back to the dorm.
It wasn't until he walked through the doors that he remembered what he was meant to do earlier that evening. He had set out with the intention of seeing Lisa and sorting out their issue; which was still unknown to Jungkook and he mentally kicked himself when he realised he had forgotten about Lisa at the very moment when Iu approached him. He felt awful that he unintentionally forgot his task but he was hoping to call her just before bed at the very least, even if just to hear her voice.
Just as he slipped off his sneakers at the front door Jimin walked out from the kitchen, and with a coffee in hand he took a sip before making a point of looking Jungkook in the eyes for a moment before quietly asking about what he had set out to do earlier that night.
"Kook, how did it go? Did you see Lisa? Did you talk it out with her?", Jimin asked before taking another sip from the steaming cup. Jimin always liked having Lisa around, her happy laughter floating about their lounge always made their dorm feel a touch closer to home as she lightly teased the boys about anything that she was able to beat them at, particularly how she was the only one ever able to make Yoongi wake from his naps just to play a game of mafia and never suffer the consequences of his death stares, always preferring instead to lightly pat the top of her head before agreeing to anything she wanted to do.
For Jungkooks sake he sincerely hoped the young couple will be able to sort out their troubles because as much as Lisa was good for Jungkook; he suspected that Jungkook was just as good for Lisa and it frustrated the members of both groups to no end that their maknaes were blind to what was obvious to those who knew of their relationship.
Jimin let out a soft sigh and leant against the doorway waiting for Jungkooks answer to his query, fully knowing that whatever came out of Kooks mouth would affect his relationship with Lisa in a good way, or bad way and at that moment he was hesitant as to whether he wanted to hear it or not. For Jungkooks sake, he was wishing with all that he had, that his response was not going to come back to haunt him.

Jungkooks right arm reached up, his palm snaking around to the back of his neck giving himself a small massage before replying to Jimin. He may not know a lot, but what he did know was that he had to approach the whole matter calmly and slowly because it was Jimin who encouraged him to seek out Lisa to iron out their issues. He was fully aware that Jimin enjoyed her company because when she visited him at the dorm she always brought with her a brightness the boys had never experienced or felt. It radiated through her smile, her laughter but it shone the brightest whenever Lisa was nursing a sick oopa or eonnie. The genuine love and concern she displayed to his hyungs or her members/sisters was one of purity, just one of the many qualities he loved about Lisa.
At the same time he couldn't help but feel compelled to keep his unplanned meeting with Iu secret from Jimin & Lisa. No good would come of it, and if anything the innocent meeting would do more damage to his relationship with Lisa and to be fair he wanted to sort things out with her first before things become worse. As it was he hadn't seen or heard from Lisa for over a week and although her jealousy over Iu possibly made her hide away from him, he knew he had to see her, and soon. Jungkook took a deep breath and looked at his hyungs awaiting face and carefully replied,
"I um....I didn't actually see her hyung", he looked down at his feet and slid on a pair of slippers before moving past Jimin making his way to the kitchen. Grabbing a glass he padded to the water cooler to fill the glass before turning around again. He could see Jimin waiting for him to continue, "I was honestly on my way to her dorm but I um, I somehow ended up at the Han River. I don't know how or why I ended up there, but I figured I would use the opportunity to go over what I was going to say to Lisa before going to her dorm". Finishing off the glass of water he placed the glass onto the counter and moved past Jimin to walk into the lounge.
Jungkook threw himself onto the nearest couch, closing his eyes he leant his head back and let out a heavy sigh. He knew Jimin was still with him as he heard him take the opposite seat across him followed by a clink as he places his coffee cup onto the side table. He knew a discussion was about to ensue, and he wasn't entirely confident in his ability to keep his meetup with Iu a secret for long.
"Kook, what happened? I thought you already knew what to say to her, to Lisa?" Jimin prompted.
"I mean you left here so certain, what happened? Why did you stop at Han River Kook?" Jimin asked, his tone concerned, wanting to know why he changed his plans. Jungkook may be the youngest, but he was one of the most determined people that Jimin knew, and once he's set his mind to do something, Jungkook did it with the best of his ability, usually coming out on top. So Jimin was genuinely curious as to why Jungkook didn't follow through with his visit to Lisa.
After sitting through Jungkook's silent reply Jimin asked again, "Jungkook, say something, you said you didn't want to break up with her, that you loved her yet you for some reason or other you stop at Han River for over an hour and you return home without talking to Lisa. Are you really not going to talk to her about your relationship?", but still no reply from the silent maknae.

"JUNGKOOK?!!"
Jungkook on the other hand had had enough, it was his relationship and he was going to figure it out on his own, without the noise of outsiders.
Huffing out a loud sigh Jungkook responded, "I met with Iu at Han River and before you say anything it wasn't planned at all. I was sitting on one of the benches by myself and I think she was out with her manager I'm not sure but she recognised me hyung and no I don't know how she did and we talked and laughed and I gave her my number". He knew he shouldn't have offloaded like that but he didn't know how to respond to the incessant questions hurtling at him and blurted out the truth. He knew at that point by saying it out that perhaps he shouldn't have given Iu his number, but at the time he wasn't thinking about anything other than his idol crush actually asking for his number.
Jimin looked at Jungkook with a look of disappointment before leaning forward resting his elbows on his knees and crossing his fingers, he spoke to Jungkook with as much calmness he could muster, "Kook, I hope for your sake that this doesn't come back to haunt you and I know it's not my relationship but I've seen you around Iu, we all have and I suspect Lisa would have too. I mean shit it's all over YouTube and fan fiction sites, your ship with Iu has garnered a huge following and those very people approve of you and Iu. But what about Lisa? How is this going to affect her it if already hasn't?", he finished off with sadness lacing his voice.
Jungkook replies with a hint of annoyance, "You know what hyung, you're right, this isn't your relationship it's mine, mine and Lisa's and if I need advice I'll ask but for now just leave it alone, I can handle this without the Spanish Inquisition, ok?"
Holding up his hands in a sign of surrender Jimin swiftly replies, "Ok ok I'm sorry, but just a couple of things to think about Kook. One; please take into account Lisa's feelings as well as Iu. You need to be clear about your feelings for both girls, because either way one or both will be hurt if you don't sort this mess out immediately. Two; if you choose Iu please Kook, please make sure you are choosing her for the right reasons because once you do, there is no going back & same vice versa if you choose Lisa so choose with your heart. Third; do it soon, real soon because the quicker you do so, the sooner hearts can heal".
Jungkook gathered his thoughts and stood from his seat making his way to his room pausing to turn around and thank the older man.
"Thank You hyung, I know I may seem ungrateful for your advice but that's not the case. I really do appreciate your guidance and I'll try to sort this whole mess out real soon, I promise."
Nodding from his seat Jimin hoped that neither of the three involved in this triangle of mess will get hurt, because it was common knowledge that the affairs of the heart never fared well in this type of situation. Someone will get hurt, and in a very bad way and he hoped that that person was not going to be Lisa. Feeling disappointment at Jungkook and the turn of events Jimin headed to his shared room with the hopes that Jungkook will have made progress by the following day.
Closing the bedroom door with a click Jungkook turned leaning his back against the door and sighed with apprehension not wanting to hurt anyone but acknowledging that the inevitable is bound to happen. Someone will get hurt.
Walking towards his bed he felt his mobile phone buzzing in his pocket with the arrival of a notification. It was a text message. Without much thought he plonks down onto the bed and pulls the device out of his pocket looking down at the illuminated light emanating from the small screen he sees an unknown number. Swiping right he enters his passcode and opens the message screen, unaware of the small smile that was making its presence on the corner of his mouth.
His heart leaping into his throat he reads the message over a few times more when he receives another one
Jungkook didn't know how to feel about the messages from Iu other than he was beyond happy that he was able to spend a little time with her, allowing him a first hand experience in getting to know her.
At Han River he marvelled at how small and delicate her hands were and how soft her skin felt when their fingers lightly brushed as he reached for her phone. How the city lights made her milky white skin translucent and her lips a darker shade of red which he took great delight in observing when he wasn't being shy and was able to look at her longer than a few seconds. He surprised himself with a grin upon noticing that he wasn't the only one blushing at random moments during their conversation.
He could feel Jimin's disappointment in him earlier and he tried his best to not show it, but he was disappointed in himself as well. Jungkook had every intention of seeing Lisa, and seeing Iu was definitely not part of the plan, his emotions were all over the place and it didn't help that he now had Iu's number and it certainly was not ideal that she evoked feelings in him which he had thought were just a mere crush.
Taking a deep breath and raising his hands to rub his face, he let out a frustrated moan as he threw himself backwards onto his bed. Closing his eyes he was trying to concentrate on the quietness around him when he received a third text notification. Reaching out with a blind hand he unlocked the device with his thumb before raising his arm, the light from the screen casting a brightness onto his features he opens an eye to see who had messaged him.
"Jungkook, can we meet tomorrow? Our usual cafe around 3pm"
It was from Lisa.

How The Weak Live
This was a rough draft. Quite a meh one. The newer version is These Games of Ours. ---------- Lucious is deserter among many, living by dagger and beggary. Argento’s thirst for knowledge is endless, as is his belly. Kora is the perfect soldier, yet her sword grows dull in monotony. Formally known as the Empire's legend, the Captain is now stuck in stagnation. The Gods, grown weary of human deeds, have decided to indulge themselves in a different way. -------------- THE 7 REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF Clichés shall be avoided like the cancerous tumors they are. The world shall not spread its pink butt cheeks for the main character’s convenience. No character shall be thinner than one slice of white American cheese. No female character shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main character is. No villain shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main characters are. Grammar laws shall be upheld sometimes. I, the author, swear not to be a prick. I, the author, swear not to go away without warning. If other LitRPGs are like Skyrim, then this is going to be a combination of Dark Souls and Total War. Don't expect action for the sake of action. Be warned, this is a slow novel. Read the reviews to see if this novel is a decent fit for you. Disclaimer: I do not own that gorgeous cover art.
