What is he doing here?
" Jungkook what are you doing here?" I asked surprised by his visit.
He steps closer which makes me step back.
" Well, I guess I just needed to talk to you." He said seriously.
" Oh ok so what is it. I am going dress shopping with the gi-." I started to say before I was cut off.
"Why are you acting like this," he asked confused
I have been trying to keep our relationship as normal as possible so I thought I would act as if what happened today never really happened. But I would be lying to myself.
" I have been thinking about this the whole day and you probably don't even care. You're probably trying to find a way to get rid of me." He says hurt in his eyes.
"NO!" I blurted out now embarrassed of saying what I said.
Jungkook's eyes flicker up and start moving closer to me.
" This explains so many things about what happened between us. Why I was mad for you being near other guys, and how I wanted to be with you a second time in detention," he said moving closer.
"And we can't forget the need and the wanting I had for you," Jungkook said looking down at my lips.
I gulped and hit the wall and soon Jungkook was leaning in on me already both his hands caging me in.
" I wonder if you feel the same way. I wonder if you will ever love me after being so mean to you." He leans in closer
I can feel myself sweating. I want it, I want his kiss. Why do I want it? I hated him just a few hours ago. I learned in and made our lips touch. It started out gentle and then became passionate. We let go to breath and I started blushing like crazy.

"You're so beautiful." He says and takes something out of his pocket.
" I was always hesitant to show you this but. Here it goes." He pulls out a ring that looked identical to mine but a missing half.
It was the second half to a ring I got in my childhood.
I started to tear up thinking about the past.
...flashback... 8 years ago
" Hey boy come here you said you wanted to tell me something," I said holding back my joy to be talking to the boy in front of me.
He was my first love. He was perfect in my eyes. He had beautiful chocolate colored orbs that always drew me in. He had perfect black hair. He was chubby and had the cutest smile. The best thing of all. It was his bunny smile. I would always make fun of him for his bunny smile.
" Lisa your running to fast for me. Your legs are too long." chubby Jungkook whined.
" That means you hate me because I have nice long legs," I said complaining.
" No, Lisa I promise you I really like your legs," Jungkook said seriously.
" No your just being a pervert," I said getting grossed out but secretly smiling on the inside due to him saying I had nice legs.
" Lisa please let me just tell you what I need to tell you I don't have much time," he said even more serious.
"Ok fine what is it."
"Lisa I have to leave to go far away for some type of training, it has something to do with my family and their bloodline," he said head down.
My mind went blank. I had no clue this was going to happen.

" Kookie, no, no, no, no, no, no," I said starting to cry.
" I love you, Lisa." Jungkook bluntly said.
Lisa was surprised she never knew that he would return her feelings for him.
" I-I d-don't know w-what to s-say." I stuttered out.
" I knew you wouldn't accept me," Jungkook said head down.
No Jungkook don't say that. I love you let me tell you.
" I-."
" Don't worry, I know you hate how fat I am and how I look like a bunny but that will all change."
Jungkook starts running away.
While he was running he threw something to me and I caught it. It was a heart ring broken in two. I held it close to my heart.
"Lisa I will never forget you, and I will become tall, handsome and strong for you. Then you will finally accept me." He said while running.
" Don't forget me and remember I love you." He lastly says as he is out of sight.
I collapse on the floor sitting criss, cross, applesauce and I stare at the ring. I will always cherish it and wait for you all handsomed up. I smiled at that.
Jungkook I don't need or want you to change.
End of Flashback
I look at him and grab his face. It was true, it was him. It was his eyes and smile that showed me him.
" Your him. You've changed. Your so........ different." I said confused
" I told you I was going to change my ugly self for you," Jungkook said leaning in.
I turned my face away.
" You didn't have to change, I liked you the way you were," I said.
" If you like it more I can become more fat for you," he said.
I let out a giggle at that.
" No there's no need, it's just I never recognized you after your change. When did you figure it out." I asked curiously.
He came closer and leaned into my ear "Well I never forgot about you so I came back here to search for you. I went into school hoping to find you there. I didn't know till an hour ago. But now I finally found you. I came here to show you the new person I became for you but you obviously don't like that, so now I am seriously considering the idea of losing the abs and get the flabs." he said smiling devilishly.
I hit him on the shoulder lightly, as a joke.
" You know I never forgot you too," I said staring into his eyes.
" I think Jimin and Taehyung already knew from the beginning though," I said thinking back to the times Jimin was confessing.
"Lisa."
"Yeah."
"I love you."
I was speechless.

The Crippling Little Rock Demon
Died on Earth, struck by an unfortunate sudden bolt of lightning, and was forced to reincarnate into another world. Reborn not as a human, but as a species of Rock Demon (Terrakahn). So, how bad can it really be? Basically just another typical reincarnation story, but this one is really inspired by the story The Golem Mancer written by IfNotForOne.

Alexandra Bedford is a weapon, a young woman with telekinetic powers capable of leveling entire cities, born to fight in the desolate remains of post-apocalyptic North America. There is only one problem: she may be losing control of her abilities. Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!
