"Lisa-ya...can I come in?" Jisoo pushed the door open before hearing any response. In front of her, Lisa sat quietly on her bed, hugging both knees close to her chest. She's still wearing the same clothes from this morning. Her heart fell at the sight. The younger had been keeping by herself quietly in her room since they touched down and saw the news, and it worries her.

The three of them hadn't quite been the supportive sisters as well when they saw it. Jennie – who was the first to find it – immediately jumped into a scandalous mode and held the phone up to Lisa's face, shouting 'Lisa, you need to read this!', followed by 'How could he do this to you?' and kept repeating the word 'cheating' and 'fucker' in multiple sentences throughout the journey back home.

Chaeyoung added on a few English swearing words and Jisoo had basically questioned how and why he'd go back to Yeri when he'd been so all over Lisa. To say that they were upset at Jungkook is an understatement. But it wasn't until they reached home that Jisoo noticed how Lisa hadn't respond to anything they said.

She had been staring out the window while they were discussing her relationship and bitching about her boyfriend – or ex-boyfriend now. They should have been more sensitive towards her feelings. She must've been the most shocked of all to see that news. Then Jisoo remembered what she heard from Taehyung a couple of months ago. They're friends since they've hosted in a show together before, but it's not like they always talk to each other so to receive the sudden phone call was indeed surprising for her.

At first he just asked normal things to catch up, but she somehow noticed how he'd constantly asked if Lisa's okay. She found it weird of course, and her suspicion grew when she noticed how the maknae constantly zoned-out sometimes. She had a hunch then that the pair probably had a fight. She gave her space and time to come out of it, but Lisa never said anything. And she stopped analysing when they started the tour, as they were all busy with the daily rushes for the shows.

"Lisa-ya...please come out and eat. You didn't have lunch, what if you get sick?" Jisoo sat beside the bed and place a hand on Lisa's shoulder.

"Lali," Jisoo tried again, shaking Lisa's shoulder a bit when she didn't respond. "You're making me worried. Don't be like this," Her voice cracks a little. She knew it's the worst feeling ever. All of them had been through it – losing their first love.

Slowly Lisa turns her head to Jisoo and she saw the glint of tears in the younger's eyes. A small smile curved on her lips and Jisoo's heart breaks even more. Guilt rushes over her. The thought of Lisa talking about what she's feeling sounds so absurd now, how could she have let herself to wait for it to happen?

Focus...focus, Lili! She tries hard to listen to her manager's brief again – line by line, word by word. It's really hard when the image kept popping in her head again and again, upsetting her but most of all, making her angry. Not the raging type or I-wanna-punch-you-so-hard-in-the-face kind of angry, it's more to the jealous kind. She had to stop everytime by telling herself that he was never hers to begin with. To remind herself that it was never real and was all just a game. Obviously it's not working. It's already a week after the news broke out.

She still remembers clearly how she felt upon reading the headline on Dispatch.

Below it are multiple images of the two – with them in the car next to each other, talking face-to-face, and one with Yeri's silhoutte being cosily in his arms. Those are the pictures that kept appearing uninvitedly in Lisa's mind, making her hate herself more and more for still thinking about him.

It had been over two months since she last saw him at the restaurant. With the busy schedule and travelling around, she expects herself to get better. How could she – when his name kept popping up on her mobile screen every damn day?! The first time that it didn't happen was when the news broke out. For three days straight after that, there was nothing from him.

A part of her felt relieved – thankful that it's finally over and his true colors are now apparent to her. She can finally justify to herself that it's a good thing that she had cut ties all this while. But another part left her feeling empty, like something is missing. And it makes her want to cry. It's really over. Waking up everyday to the thought makes her heart shattered to a million pieces – over and over again.

She was never anything to him. Yeri had always been the one. On the fourth day, Big Hit had released a statement on the issue, stating 'Jungkook and Yeri had always been good friends, but nothing more than that. Yeri had asked to meet to confide about a private matter, and Jungkook had merely been there to help a friend in need.'

Lisa rolled her eyes when she read it. Good friends! She remembered when they were good friends! A few hours after, she saw 4 missed calls from Jungkook. Why would he suddenly call again? Of course, she didn't return it. But the thought lingers in her mind up until now. And those damn images –

"Make sure you pack everything by tonight. It's an early flight tomorrow," Her manager said as the car stopped in front of their house.

"Yes, oppa," She muttered before getting out.

It's only October but she can't wait for the year to end. Can we just skip all the award shows and just go to the concert in Japan? She needs it to distract her mind. She needs to reset and she promised to be extra hard on herself whenever Jungkook crosses her mind. She'll get over it...for real this time. The prospects of seeing Jungkook at the award events are not something she's ready for.

"Lisa," Behind her, a familiar voice appeared, stopping her tracks. No, no, not here, not now! She can't be imagining his voice calling out for her now. She turned slowly to find Jungkook standing and looking at her warily. Her eyes blinked a couple of times, making sure she's not imagining things.

Jungkook took one step towards her and lowered down his hoodie and mask, revealing his face fully. Lisa's heart begins to thud loudly.

"Wh – what are you doing here?" She wanted to shout at him but it came out as a hoarse whisper instead. "People might see –"

"I need to talk to you...to see you," His rushed footsteps went unnoticed as Lisa tried to gather her words. She had never thought of this. They're idols. She somehow knew he wouldn't take the risk of getting himself into any sorts of drama.

But then again, he did took that risk with Yeri. Before she could say anything else, he closed her in an embrace. His familiar scent reminded her of their nights in L.A and she breathed it in fully, suddenly dazed and overwhelmed by his presence. I've missed you...

"I miss you so much..." Jungkook breathed as if he could hear her heart pleading. The cracks in his soft whisper brought her back to reality and she pushed him away.

"You need to leave,"

"No, please. Give me a chance to explain. It wasn't like what you think –" Jungkook pleaded.

"No! You've done enough – now please –" She takes a step back.

"Lisa, please! It's been too long, I can't go on like this –"

"You need to go before someone sees you! Go! Go back to Yeri, I don't care anymore! I don't care about you, or your stupid bet, just leave me alone!"

"Baby, I swear –"

"Stop it Jungkook! We're done –" Lisa turned to leave but was stopped harshly when Jungkook gripped her wrist.

"No, we're not!" His eyes are filled with tears and it pains her to look at it. Lisa tried to let go of her hand but his grip is too strong. "It's not over – it was never over between us and I won't stop saying that until you listen to me –"

"Well it's over for me!" She shouts and the tears she'd been holding back bursts out. Jungkook stares at her in disbelief.

"Please..." He looks down in defeat. His hands fell on his sides. The pain in his face is evident but she's too caught up with her own emotions to give it a second thought.

"I wish you nothing but happiness, sunbaenim. I honestly do," Her sobs can't hide the heartbreak she'd been enduring and she turns back to walk inside.

"You still love me. I know you do," She heard him say as she's halfway to the door. Once she's inside, she cries the hardest she's ever cried.
