《IN YOUR MIND. fezco》xxvi. the perfect plan

"So... you don't know what goes on with your character?" Enolla asked as she took a right turn into Lulu's street.
She squinted her eyes suspiciously, "No... but I feel like you do so how about you tell me, uh?"
"That would ruin the fun," Enolla replied, "But I'll make sure to check your reaction tomorrow."
Lulu rolled her eyes, ready to open the door and get out of the car, "Thanks for the ride."
"Wait, just so you know, Refn's gonna be there tomorrow."
"At the play?"
Enolla nodded, "Yes."
"But... he does know I'm not in it, right?"
"Yeah," Enolla chuckled, "But he's got nothing to do and I did kinda tell him that it was worth watching..."
"Did you tell Lexi?" Lulu asked, "No, cause she's gonna freak—"
"No, no, no," Enolla interrupted, "I can tell she's nervous already. But she really shouldn't be... I can tell she could have a great career in this... She's talented."
Lulu smiled with pride, "Yeah, I know. She should stop doubting herself so much."
"Says the girl who doesn't believe in herself."
"Very funny," Lulu said with a grimace as she walked out of the car, "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow, right?"
"Of course!"
Lulu watched Enolla drive off before going inside the house where music was blasting loudly and Lulu scrunched her nose at the sight of her sister putting up a show for everyone to watch.
Selfless by the Strokes was playing all over the house and Zahia was dancing and singing under the amused gazes of Fezco, Ashtray and Faye.
"Please don't be long, 'cause I want your love," Zahia sang loudly, "I don't have love without your arm, life is too short, but I will live for you!"
She pretended having a guitar between her hands, jumping around the house and following the rhythm. She finally noticed her sister and her eyes opened wide as she quite literally jumped in her arms, "We're staying together!"
Lulu stumbled back, wrapping her arms around Zahia's body before shooting a quick look at the rest of them, "Wait, what?"

"They said we can stay together!" Zahia chirped before pulling out a letter from her pocket, "We got this today."
Lulu rapidly read the letter, feeling goosebumps covering her arms at the positive outcome. The second visit from the social workers had taken place a couple of weeks ago and Lulu had lived in the fear of receiving this final letter.
A long sigh escaped her lips and she tightened her grip around her sister, kissing her head softly, enjoying the relief that she never thought she would experience.
"Lulu, you're choking me," Zahia complained.
"Shut up, you're staying with me forever," Lulu said, "Get used to it."
... ... ...
Lulu's body was slowly being filled with butterflies at the sight of Zahia and Ashtray fighting for the remote as she was cooking dinner with Fezco in the kitchen.
"There's somethin' going on between them," Fezco said as he was watching the pair as well.
"I know right," Lulu replied, "Z won't spill a thing, though."
"Yeah and don't even think 'bout it with Ash," Fezco added with a chuckle.
The two kids grabbed their jackets and made their way out, under the couple's suspicious gazes. Zahia blew a kiss at her sister, "We're going out."
"Be back home for dinner, lovebirds!" Lulu exclaimed with a devious smile.
The last thing they heard were loud grunts followed by a door slam and, finally, Lulu and Fezco were home alone.
Fezco kept looking at Lulu, constantly scouting closer as he felt this never ending urge to feel her presence near him. It was like he couldn't stay away from her whenever she was around.
Every single moment they shared, he remembered. In every detail. Sometimes, the way she laughed would come up in his dreams. Other times, he would close his eyes for a second and he would picture the way she looked at him. Her eyes, the part of Lulu he loved the most. Not only because her eyes were beautiful but because whenever he would be brave enough to let himself stare at her, he would realize that she loved him enough to tell him exactly how she felt through her eyes.

He had known Lulu for many years now. When they first met, they were both still teenagers. And they became friends almost instantly but it took years for her to truly let him in. And now that she did, he would never let that go.
"Fez?"
He fluttered his eyelashes, blushing as he realized he had been staring, "Um, yeah?"
"Do you think you could, like, close the store for a couple of days?"
Fezco gave her a quizzical look, "Why?"
Lulu looked away, scratching her throat, "Uh... I don't know, I was, like, thinking about what you said last time..."
She noticed the man was extremely confused and she let out a long anxious breath, "Y'know about living on a farm?"
He raised an eyebrow, "Ma', don't tell me y'bought a farm?"
Lulu chuckled, "No! No, of course not... But I did rent one for the weekend and... I thought we could all go after the play?"
"Wait, what?" Fezco asked, "Like, tomorrow?"
Lulu vividly nodded, "I know I should've told you earlier but... uhm... I kinda did it today?"
Fezco wrapped his arms around her, kissing her foreheard, "You crazy, ma... Of course Imma close the store for the weekend."
"Really?"
He lifted her so she was now sitting on the counter and he rubbed his nose against hers, "Yeah... Business is good right now."
Lulu's stomach flipped around at his words, wondering how lucky she had gotten. This day felt like a dream and she couldn't wait to get out of town with three of the people she loved the most on this planet.
Maybe the universe was now allowing some peace and love into her life.
Lulu captured his lips in a kiss, "I love you so fucking much."
Fezco hummed against her skin, "I love you too, I fuckin' do," and he kissed her back much eagerly as he let his hands travel from her thighs to her shirt, letting out a deep chuckle when he slipped his hands under the fabric and against her hot skin, earning a gasp from Lulu.
"Hm, and I'm the horny one, uh?" Lulu asked as Fezco was now kissing her neck.
He looked up at her with lust in his eyes, "What I wanna do to you right now..."
Lulu's grip on his shoulders tightened as she started panting heavily, unconsciously trying to close her legs. Fezco noticed her getting more and more flustered and he leaned in.
Slowly, so slowly, he leaned against her lips, allowing his own to brush against hers but he didn't kiss her. Lulu's heart was racing in her chest and nothing else mattered but to feel Fezco's lips. But he never closed the gap and she whimpered in frustration before silently gasping when she felt Fezco slipping his hand in her panties.
He was trying to read her face as he went a little further, making her believe that he would touch her right there but never actually doing it. He knew it would drive her insane to have him this close yet this far away from what she now wanted.
And seeing her like this, unconsciously bucking her hips against his hand, breathing heavily and gripping his skin, having her looking at him as if she was about to beg him, that was driving him insane.
"I swear to fuckin' god," Lulu croaked, "If you don't do anythin', Imma fucking—"
Fezco finally closed the gap, fiercely kissing her as he gave in and allowed two fingers to trace down her slit, immediately pulling away from the kiss to look up at Lulu with his eyes opened wide, "You're soakin'..."
Lulu nodded, whining against his flushed lips and trying to get more contact, "Yes... fuck, please, Fez..."
"Holy fuckin' shit," Fezco whispered as he lifted her off the counter and started walking as fast as he could out of the kitchen, "Can't leave you like this..."
And they spent a couple hours locked in Fezco's bedroom, enjoying each other through intense and passionate love.

In the five thousand years since the gods left, much has changed. Great wars were fought, Universities were built, civilizations were created. One thing remained after the gods' departure though, their powers. Today, the balance of crafting the three gods brought has shifted.
