《IN YOUR MIND. fezco》xi. bathroom showdown

Lulu ran out of the school, followed closely by Rue, Jules and Elliot. Breathless, she leaned on the railing as they all laughed at their final dare of the day.
"How about we go chill at my place?" Elliot offered.
"Yeah, totally," Rue said, "Could be fun."
"Sure," Jules replied, "I actually have other dare ideas..."
Lulu's phone started ringing, displaying Enolla's name and she quickly picked up, "Hey! What's up?"
"What's up?" Enolla repeated, "You're twenty minutes late! Don't tell me you forgot the shoot. The whole crew's waiting in front of your house."
Lulu looked over at her friends, mortified as they seemed worried, "Oh shit, shit, shit. I'm sorry, just got out of school. I—I'll be here in ten."
Enolla sighed on the other end of the phone, "Just hurry up."
Lulu ended the call, "I'm sorry guys, I forgot I got this shoot that they do with every nominee. I gotta go..."
"Okay superstar, bail on us," Jules joked, earning a death glare from Lulu, "I'm joking! Just go!"
Lulu rapidly walked off, putting on her helmet and lighting a cigarette as she turned on the engine of her scooter, "Keep some for me, maybe I'll swing by later."
She drove off and noticed a car following her as she left the school's parking lot. She didn't think much of it at first, until she understood it was taking the exact same route as her. Whenever she sped up, the car would drive just as fast, and when she slowed down, the car would too.
Until she took the final turn leading to her house.
She hopped off her scooter with an apologetic look on her face. A crew of six people were patiently waiting on the curb, boxes of clothes, cameras and lights all on display around them.

"Hi guys," Lulu blurted, "I'm so so so sorry, I'm the worst."
Jamie, a photographer she had worked with a few times in the past, gave her a smile, "Hey, Lulu! It's alright, don't worry!"
And they all followed her inside.
... ... ...
When Lulu finally got the house to herself, it was already dark outside. She tried doing some homework, the key word being tried because she gave up after half an hour, unable to focus.
She made her way to the kitchen and texted her sister.

Through her kitchen window, Lulu could tell no one was at Fez's place. She considered going to the station but she didn't feel like putting a foot outside. At all. She just wanted to eat some food and binge watch some show.
A few hours later, she checked her phone to notice a text from Elliot.

... ... ...
Lulu blinked a few times in front of the school's bathroom mirror, trying not to yawn as much as possible. But she had fallen asleep on the couch the previous night and it hadn't been the greatest experience for the girl.
Rue barged out of a toilet cabin, giving her best friend a small smile as she started washing her hands, "Sup, Lulu."
Lulu frowned, obviously noticing that she was high on something, "I'm good. You?"
"Yeah, same," she said, "I just don't get the need to come here five times a week."
Lulu chuckled, leaning against the sink, "So... I heard you're fucking at other people's places now. Damn, you changed."
"I... uh, I'm sorry, what?"
"Elliot couldn't sleep cause of you and Jules."
Rue raised a brow, "So... ya'll are texting now?"
"Uh... yeah?" Lulu said, scowling, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Rue couldn't even cover her smirk, "For nothing."
Lulu rolled her eyes as she noticed Lexi walking in, "Nothing's going on, we're friends."
"Please, Lulu, I know you," Rue interjected.
"I'm sorry, what is that supposed to mean?"
Rue lifted her hands in the air in surrender, "Just... that you're a flirt. That's... that's what you do. I—I'm not saying you're gonna cheat on Fez or anythin'—"
"Oh really?" Lulu said in a sarcastic tone, "Cause that's what it sounds like."
"Oh Lulu, give me a break," Rue growled, "I was just joking! Where the fuck did your sense of humor go?"
Lulu went poker face. She made eye contact with the girl who was supposed to be her best friend and stared at her with the powerful urge to punch her across the face. Because she wasn't being funny at all, she was clearly being mean, insinuating that she would cheat on her boyfriend because she had the reputation of being a flirt.
And Lulu couldn't believe it was so easy for Rue to take a shortcut and blatantly imagine that texting with a guy would lead straight to sex.
"You're pathetic," Lulu spat, "Don't fucking talk to me unless you wanna apologize. I'm done with you being a selfish, stupid, jealous little bitch."
And she stormed out of the bathroom, not even noticing Cassie's unexpected look for the day.
Yeah... I guess I should've seen this one coming...
Lulu bumped into someone as she had decided she was ditching school for the day. She couldn't even care less about attendance at the moment.
"Fuck, I'm sorry," she cursed under her breath.
"It's fine," Elliot said, "You okay?"
Lulu sighed, "Yeah, yeah, always."
But Elliot didn't believe a single word, "Wanna talk about it?"
"Nah, nah," she shook her head, "Otherwise, people are gonna think I wanna fuck you."
Elliot opened his eyes wide, "Uh... w—what?"
Lulu shrugged, "I don't know, ask Rue."
The poor boy stood there, looking fuzzy, as Lulu stormed out of the school and ready to forget about her childhood best friend for a couple of hours.
... ... ...
, aaaaand lulu's mad at rue. again. i mean, i've really been testing their friendship ever since season one but i do feel like things cant go smoothly between them

The infinite possibilities we could have, that's why the idea of parallel worlds revolves around "what if", " I should've...", etc. The wishful thinking that how we could have done it better or in a word, "regret".
