eight months later
(no pov)
"this is the life!" ashtray ran towards the bright blue water in excitement. ryder laid back on the chair watching him.
she was admiring how much older he had gotten.
they both had a small vacation from their new life.
the past months, almost year without fezco had actually been amazing. never in a million years did she think she would be there, but here she was.
her diamonds that covered her neck, wrist and fingers were gleaming in the sunlight. despite being at the beach she was still a baddie.
"come get in!" ashtray begged.
"no, but i'll get my feet wet." she walked closer to do just that. "how the hell did we get here to even deserve this?" he was amazed.
she turned around to see his view.
the greenery, bold colored flowers, light sand and clear water was all that she was in love with now. "we should make a documentary about this place." ashtray giggled.
"like there already isn't so many? hey, hold on someone's calling." ryder said annoyed walking back over to her phone.
"i thought i told you not to call?" she was furious at the man who called, but she knew whatever was going on had to be serious.
after a few more phone calls her and ashtray were on the first plane back to the city.

ryder and ashtray had agreed that he only do small drug deals here and there to only people that they know.
but ryder dealt with the big boys.
in which one of those 'big boys' called her in for a special meeting. she knew she would be doing something other than selling drugs.
her heels clicked against shiny marble floor, down the steps to the basement. she heard the loud cries and screams begging to spare their life.

taking a deep breath before opening one of the doors she heard the chains moving as a man spoke, "dinos para quién trabajas"
"i'm not saying shit! i-i don't even know what the FUCK you're saying."
fezco's body laid there bruised, cut and completely broken. her heart nearly fell apart yet she knew she had to remain strong.
thousands of miles away from him and he still found his way to her. she walked to the man who had been beating him. she whispered, "who is this and what did he do?"
"stealing drugs from the boss and his new partner. claims he's getting revenge." the man handed her a pair of gloves and a gun to get the job done, "he's offering you a higher position if you want it."
he left her alone with practically a lifeless fez.
the door shut and she quietly ran over to lock it. "what did you do?" her voice cracked from how upset she was.
fezco finally looked up. "no, no way!" he started to shout, "there's no possible fucking way! i'm dead!" his arms hung high and body hung low.
he felt as if this was a dream despite he was actually stuck in somewhat hell.
ryder walked over to him lifting his chin up as she placed a fake smile on her face as her uncontrollable tears ran down her face.
"where are we?" his mouth open and blood poured out. "coloumbia, baby." ryder chucked knowing that he was losing it and she wasn't trying to lose her shit.
"i know you can't kill, ry. i k-know this isn't for you, but i-i need you to do it." fez begged her out of fear, desperation and pain.
ryder wanted to take him out of his pain, she also knew this promotion would be wonderful for her and ashtray.

ashtray.
"do you ever think about ashtray?" she asked the boy who was barely hanging on at this point.
"i'm always thinking about bro, even you and noah." he spoke quietly. she was then reminded about her past that she so strongly fought to forget about.
she wanted to kill him, needed to kill him, but couldn't.
"is the job done? i haven't heard a shot." the man yelled fell outside of the door. she knew it was going to be minutes before he and an army were going to barge in.
if ryder spared his life she would be putting hers and ashtray in danger. she needed to come up with something.
the doorknob twisted until he realized it was locked.
she needed something quick.
