"I'm about to get wasted at this party tonight." I sigh throwing the bath of chips on the island in my kitchen. Fez came and dropped off the stuff earlier.
"Where are your parents again?" Rue asks opening a bag of chips.
"My mom." I corrected her. "She went to florida."
"Sorry."
"It's fine." I grab some chips shoving them into my mouth. There was a knock on my door. I run to it opening it knowing it was Jules. We helped her bring the drinks inside putting them in a cooler I got from the basement.
"How did you get these?" I ask her.
"I have my ways." She smirks. Me and rue exchange looks.
"Well tonight I have a one way track. To get fucked up. And fucked." I chuckle at the last part.
"So how are you and Fez?" Jules raises her eyebrows.
"Good." I smile thinking about yesterday at the store.
"You guys are cute." She grins taking some chips.
"Thanks, you and rue aren't bad yourself." I wink at her. Rue covers her face with her hands.
"Woooooo!" I yell standing on my table downing another bottle of beer. I was dancing to the loud music blaring throw the speakers.
"Heyyy Jules." I smile wrapping my arm around her. She smiles.
"Are you drunk." She chuckles.
"Wha, nooo." I laugh. "Wheres rue?" I slur.
"Uh I think she's chillin outside with Fez." Jules says.
"Ooo welllll." I start Before grabbing a solo cup from a kid that walked by downing it. "Tell Fez to meet me in my room in 10."
"Okay." She laughs. I walk away and stumble up the stairs. I then walk into the bathroom and see someone about to sniff a line. There was three.
"Fuck." I mumble. I stare at one of the lines. I'm trynna stay clean but I'm also not in my right mind.
"Can I hit?" I ask point to the line. They nod and hand the rolled up dollar to me. I stand in front of it. It was like I was scared. I was to be honest. But fuck it. I sniff a line and wipe my nose. That shit hit quick.

"Destiny?" I hear beside me.
"DESTINY!" I snap out of the trance I was in.
"Do you want a hit?" The guy asked me. I looked at him then the line.
"Uh, no I'm good." I say stumbling out of the bathroom. I walk to my room and lay on my bed. Waiting for Fez.
Five minutes later my room door opens.
"Ahhh my baby." I squeal sitting up. My room was dark. The only source of light was the fairy lights and even then they were faint.
"What are you doing?" Fez laughs laying on the bed next to me.
"Nothing, just been waiting for you." I smile. I straddle him and start kissing down his neck.
"Fuck me." I mumble. He grunts. He flips us over and starts kissing down my neck. He stops and I hear him sniff. Is he smelling me?
"Are you drunk?" He stops and looks down at me.
"Mmm."
"Des?"
"Hmm." I hum. He leans down and smells my breath.
"You smell like alcohol."
"Fez." I sigh. I flip us over to where I'm straddling him again. I can feel his member getting hard against me but he didn't seem like he was into it. The annoyed look on his face.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I rest my hand on his chest.
"I don't want to." He says looking down at me.
"Well that's not what your friend is saying down there." I look down between my legs. He sighs. I started to slowly grind and he grunts.
"Des, you're drunk, I don't want to take advantage of you." He grunts out as I continue to grind against him.
"You're not, I give full consent."
"You're still drunk." He holds on my waist stopping me from grinding.
"Stop." I mumble trying to move his hands so I could continue but he still holds on. I start kissing his neck again but he pulls me off of him.
"Cmon Des," he groans. I pout and storm towards the door.
"Des! Babe!!" He yells after me.
"This was the one night I wanted to be free. Feel free from my parents and have fun. I wanted to get drunk off my ass and fuck my boyfriend. Feel great. But I guess not." I say before slamming the door.

"Hey are you okay?" I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Daniel? Uh yea I'm good." I bring up a smile.
"Good. A pretty girl like you shouldn't be sad at her own party." He laughs. I start walking away before looking back at him again.
"Do you wanna play beer pong?" I ask him. She chuckles and nods his head. I grab his hand and was about to lead him downstairs but I saw Fez staring at us. I rolled my eyes at him pulling Daniel downstairs.
"Who was that?" Daniel questions.
"My boyfriend." I bluntly say.
"You don't see to happy about that."
"Yea well we ran into a little problem." I say setting up the game.
"Hey Fez looks pissed as hell. He just left what happened with you and Fez?" Rue runs up to me.
"We got into a fight."
"Why?" She asks. Well now that I think back to it sounds stupid.
"I wanted to have sex and he didn't, he said he didn't wanna take advantage of me." I shrug my shoulders.
"Destiny?! Are you serious." She puts her hand on her head. " okay but how does that make him storm out of here mad as hell?"
"Well He might've seen me taking Daniel downstairs. I don't know what he thought we were doing but we were just playing beer pong."
"Des." Rue sighs. "You have to stop being petty. I know it was your plan to make sure he sees you bringing Daniel downstairs."
"Wha, I would do No such thing." I gasp.
"Go, go after him and I'll watch the party." Rue pushes me towards the door.
"I'm not even fully sober." I whimper.
"I don't care go." I sigh walking out my house. I look around seeing some people passed out on my yard.
"Hey if you're tired go home!" I yell at them. I crossed my arms and started walking down the street. I felt nausea and ran behind a tree before throwing up. Oh I hate the feeling of throwing up.
I pull my phone out my pocket dialing fez number. It rung a couple of times before he answered.
"Wha?" He spits out.
"C-can you p-pick me up please?" I stuttered.
"Where are you?"
"By the corner store now."
"I'll be there in 5." He says hanging up right after.
A car pulled up and I pushed myself off the wall. I sat in the passenger seat and put my seatbelt on.
"How the fuck did you get out here?"
"I was going It you." I mumble leaning my head against the car seat.
"Why? You seem good enough at the party." He sounded really pissed.
"I didn't cheat on you, if that's what ours thinking." I look at him. "I would never." I mutter. "No matter how drunk I am."
"Then what was y'all doing?"
"Playing beer pong." I say closing my eyes.
"Why do you do this shit?" He looks at me. We were still by the corner store.
"Do what?"
"This shit. Always make an argument then do some shit to get me even more fucking mad." He grips the stirring wheel harder.
"I don't always start the arguments."
He sighs and sits back in the seat letting go of the wheel.
"It's really fucking annoying. Cause I hate fighting and it's fucking irritating. If this is how it's gonna be then..."
"Then what?" I look at him. He licks his lips and looks at the windshield. "Fez."
"Then we cant be together." He says not looking at me. I chuckle with tears in my eyes.
"Fez." I whisper and he still doesn't look at me. "Fez look at me." I put my hand on his chin but he dodges it. I bring my hand back to myself.
"Is that's what you want?" I whisper and he sighs.
"No it's not what I want! We fought 2 times in less than a week. It's tiring Des."
"I'm sorry Okay? What else do you want me to say!?"
"I just want us to stop fucking fighting." He looks at me.
"Okay." I mumble. He cups my face.
"I love you Okay." He mutters.
"Love you too." I say before he connects our lips.

NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
