Chapter Twenty-five
Mackenzie watched from the car as the officers approached the house and rang the bell. The light from inside suddenly flooded the front step as the door opened. Mac could see Barb’s small silhouette turn toward her as the cop’s gestured to the patrol car where she was sitting. Mackenzie heard her make some sort of sound—she wasn’t quite sure what it was but it didn’t sound good. Before they could stop her, Barb darted across the street and ran straight toward Mac, who sunk back into the seat as far as she could.
Barb was crying and was fighting to get the door open. “It’s not right! Why didn’t you tell me? My baby! My baby! It’s not right!”
Mac was pressed against the opposite door now. The glimmer of hope that she’d finally have a mom evaporated as she watched Barb.
Barb didn’t believe her. Of course she didn’t believe her. How could Mac be right? She must be wrong. It’s ridiculous. What kind of freak would do that to his own daughter? No one would believe her. Plus, she knew Barb blamed her. She would hate her now, and why wouldn’t she? Why hadn’t she told? She could’ve saved her sister. What had she been thinking?
And now Mac had a bigger problem: How could she save Lily if Barb didn’t believe her? And where would she live? And what would happen to Lily because for sure her father would get away with it. He’s the big businessman who gives tons of money to the police. Maybe she could take Lily and they could run. Run away someplace far where no one knew them and—
The cop from the first car had jumped out of his cruiser and was running toward Mac. She could see the other two cops running toward her also, as Barb struggled to open the door. They were hollering at her to stop and Barb just kept sobbing, “My baby! My baby! It’s not right!”

Then Mackenzie heard more screaming and it was a full four seconds before she realized she was the one doing it. It was the shrill scream of terror that hadn’t escaped all the times her father came into her room. She screamed, terrified for Lily, for herself, for the frustration that she couldn’t just go get her sister and beat the shit out of her father. It was a scream of fury, and hatred for what he put her through, and her failure to protect her sister.
Barb got the door open just as all three officers reached the car. They hung back as she crawled in and wrapped her arms around Mackenzie and rocked her. She rocked and rocked until Mac couldn’t scream any more and just tears were left.
The whole time Barb just kept whispering, “My baby … my poor baby … my sweet baby …”

Heart of Cultivation
Book one is now available for purchase or download through Kindle Unlimited! Jian was a prodigy, at least until he discovered that his path of cultivation had hit a dead end almost as soon as it began. That was all years ago, though. He has long since resigned himself to his fate and prepared himself for a dull, ordinary, but happy life. Stunted cultivation or no, he's clever enough to carve out his own comfortable niche. Unfortunately, not all of the matters from his past have been settled. When a reckless mistake threatens to cost him everything, Jian will have to prove that he's desperate enough to rise to the occasion. Or that he's capable of avoiding the consequences. This is an affectionate reconstruction of the xianxia genre. I will be deploying the tropes from the genre that I enjoy in a framework that I think makes sense. The story updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes other days.

Reincarnated Cat Becomes a Magical Beast
She is but a street cat who suddenly finds herself dying a sudden death. The next thing she knows is that she is in a new land where magic exists and she finds that she is no ordinary cat anymore. She has turned into a small kitten once more of silver colour, with green eyes that have a tint of red to them. She may sound like a normal kitten, but actually, she now has the power of magic, making her a Magical Beast in this world. She also finds that her intelligence has skyrocketed and her memories are as clear as day. In the future her name will spread as the partner to a grand Magician of the Wilderwolf family. But for now, follow her as she meets this Grand Magician at a young age and grow up together, forming an unbreakable bond along the way. Author's Note: This will be a long project, just fyi. It'll take several chapter just for our little main character to meet her future partner and there will be only a few big time skips to age the characters. I intend to have a lot of this story telling the story of how our duo grow up at a steady pace, so don't expect to see our main characters out saving the world any time soon. XD

Live by the Sword
--Follow a bandit prone to making poor choices in life. He lives in a somewhat medieval age where steel is king, blood is shed fairly lightly, and weakness gets you punished fast. But that's okay. As long as he has his sword, he'll be fine. Right? --This story is tragic and contains some depictions of violence and nudity. The attitudes of the characters don't represent my views and some of them are highly questionable. Due to these reasons, I've flagged the story as adult content. --I've been working on Live by the Sword since as far back as 2012 and it is my first actual effort at completing a book. Maybe I'll stick with it and there will be paperbacks of it some day. Who knows. Either way, I hope the words I tell give you amusement and perhaps some cause to think. Cheers.

Real Fake World
An original fiction of the Isekai sort, people being sent to another world. I go back in time and send my whole classroom into the other world, as heroes, it might be overly biased and not make a lot of sense in a few parts, I wrote it in a hurry long ago, so enjoy, 1 chapter per day.

The ThickGirl and The Badboy
"Well, well, well. Who do we got here?" An annoying voice mocked me.I clenched my teeth and faced him with a glare, while his eyes raked my whole body. Again. He stopped in my thighs, his eyes widening a little.I couldn't help but pity myself. Surely he's never seen legs like mine, with his sex crimes he's probably used to seeing long, thin, sexy legs, while mine are short, strong, but stubby. "What do you want?" I snarled. His eyes came back to mine, and he smirked."Chill ThunderThighs."I gave him a mean look, is he seriously insulting me right now ? ☆☆☆☆ Disclaimer:I'm still editing the first few chapters but i promise you it gets better:)
