Today, I am going to meet Knight's principal to hopefully get a scholarship. Getting one would show my family that unicycles are for more than just clowns. On the two hour drive to campus I played the song I would be doing my routine to over and over again. Going through all the choreography.
When I finally got to campus I was completely confident! I Walked with a spring in my step and my head held high. I can do this I coached myself in my head. Since my friends couldn't make it I had resorted to this. Walking into the room a bit of my confidence left me. The principal stood up and shook my hand. "Hi Missi my name is Chris Shelton" "Hi,as you know my name is Missi and I am here to show you my talent, unicycling!" I replied. "Well good luck! " he said. This is my moment! I cued the music and Uptown funk came on!
Finally the song died away and my audition was over. I was told that I would receive a phone call at about 2pm tomorrow.
When I left I was very proud of myself. I felt that I had done really well. The video of me was to be put on YouTube and whichever applicant's video got the most likes won.

2pm the next day:
"Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring. " Hello, Mssi speaking" The person on the other line responded with "Hello my name Laura I am the secretary at Yale University and we saw your application for knight's scholarship and were wondering if you would want to come to Yale instead". I was stunned! Yale wanted me! "Ummm, can I please get back to you on that please? " "Sure hun speak to you soon. "

"Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring". "Hi Missi speaking" "Hello my name is Karen and I am calling on behalf of Drexel University. We are offering you a scholarship to our school. We have decided to do this because of what we saw in your application for Knight. " Again I was stunned! "Can I please get back to you?" I replied. "Of course dear thanks for the consideration, bye"
2:30 the same day:
"Ring Ring Ring" "Hi it's Missi" "Hello Missi dear it is Sarah from Knight calling you to say you have won the scholarship"
