as soon as I got home I called Beca to see what colleges she applied to. She told me that she applied for king and knight hoping that she may get into Knight but if not she could get into King. I replied with an eager ditto hopefully we would both get into the same colleges. I next called Jake and he said the same thing. Now I was really happy what if we all got in Knight it would be so cool Becca and I could even be dorm mates.

Most people at school on Monday were all talking about the colleges they applied to. I heard people mostly talking about schools out of the state of Michigan but all the others except for me applied to King! What if I was the only one I knew going to night I would be a total nobody and no one would know me!

Since Knight was a very high quality school I got my letter from them almost imediately. I opened it straight away wondering if I should be hoping for an acceptance letter or denial letter. When I saw what it contained I shrieked with joy. "I got in" I shouted for the whole world to know I was so excited. I also read in the letter I received that there was a scholarship program going on. To get a scholarship you had to have all a grades for one scholarship and for the other the principal of the campus would meet with you and go over your application. This meant for me I could show him my amazing unicycle skills. This was sure to impress him. Also I didn't think he had ever seen one before. If I got the first scholarship about good grades that would pay for about half of my tuition. On the other hand if I got my unicycle scholarship everything would be paid for. I mean everything school, board ,food transportation all free for my whole time at college. Of course my first year of college I would have to stay on campus but from there on out having my own place would be great.

When I asked Jake and Becca about their letter I didn't get such a great response. Both Jake and Becca had been denied. For Becca it was only because of her math score which was only a point off but the school was really strict. For Jake it was his history score that didn't allow him to get into the college it was a letter grade off but he thought they wouldn't care he was the school champion at sports and was great at everything else that he did. Right now, it looked like I would be going to Knight alone! The thought sent a shiver through my whole boody.
